It's a no for me! Lavender latte had a really weird taste to it, like syrup and cottage cheese is the best way I can describe it. There are only 2 outlet spots in the whole place to charge your laptop. I wasn't hungry when I first ordered, but knew I wanted a breakfast burrito later. I made my way to the counter at 2:24pm since they only serve food until 2:30pm. Stood there for a few minutes and the staff member came over finally. I attempted to place a breakfast burrito order, but she went back to the kitchen and came back to tell me the kitchen had already closed. I made my way back to my seat and it was 2:29 PM. Came here on a Saturday afternoon, it was very nice looking from the outside but upon entering everything went downhill quickly. We first noticed that the coffee being served was different from the beans they had available for sale, additionally the beans for sale were dated quite old. I ordered a cortado and a cappuccino, the server who took our order was very short with us, rude, and overall uninterested. After taking our order i noticed that the machine was extremely dirty, the workstation was cluttered and messy. The shot cup that our coffee was being brewed into had a thick dried and syrupy coating of old coffee and also looked like it had not been rinsed or cleaned all day if not multiple days. The machine was clearly not being maintained or even wiped down as it had coffee and grim splattered all over it. Everything o observed while i was there became more obvious in the cup i was presented on a dirty saucer. The coffee tasted muddy and acidic clearly muddied from all the previous shots that had been left in the uncleaned shot glass. While we had our coffee we also noticed other people coming in with their own coffee and ordering donuts. The delicious donuts from Super Secret Donuts that were a collab were the only good thing saving this awful café. read more

I came to Tulsa for a girls' weekend with a friend and Foolish Things Coffee was our first stop before heading to the hotel. I love the huge open space, grand tables, great service, and MATCHA!! Excellent matcha - I tried the hot matcha with almond milk and my friend ordered an iced matcha. We also had to get food because we were running on just water from the morning drive from Edmond to Tulsa. *Avocado Toast* perfectly ripened avocado slices atop a sweet bacon jam, spinach, and egg. I don't think I'll have avocado toast any other way. This was one of the best avo toasts I've tasted! So much flavor especially with that sweet and savory jam. I want to also comment on how great the parking is in downtown Tulsa, especially by this location. We wanted to come back the next morning and try the coffee, but unfortunately they were closed. I had thoroughly enjoyed Et Al's Dumpling Night, a weekly Wednesday evening pop-up held at Foolish Things, and thought I should visit for a morning cup of coffee. Foolish Things Coffee is a welcoming coffee house featuring clean lines, cool artwork, and a fair amount of natural light. There is a patio area to the side of the shop and seating in the front of the café. Customer service was good. Food and coffee came out at an appropriate pace. I ordered my usual Americano with steamed half-and-half. Foolish Things makes their own syrup, so I opted to add Brown Sugar Cinnamon syrup. Additionally, I ordered the Vegetable Hash, which contained two sunny-side up eggs, potatoes, onions, and peppers. The cinnamon was deliciously prominent in my Americano. It was the best cup of coffee I had in Tulsa. The Hash was pretty good for a café. It was well seasoned, the eggs were well prepared, and the potatoes were consistently crispy (with some burnt bits, which I love in a hash). read more

I grabbed an iced caramel latte (super strong and delicious) and breakfast burrito #2. The coffee shop itself is spacious inside and plenty of tables and chairs to choose from. As for the parking, there is a designated parking spots for the coffee shop, and if ever ran out of space, there are street parking that you can park as well. The service was fast and got my orders in few minutes. I thoroughly enjoyed my cuppa and the burrito was huge and hearty! If you order a burrito, make sure you're really hungry. I stumbled upon this establishment on my way home after working out. The grinning cat on the sign just made me curious. I am so glad I stopped by... originally I thought hmm I need a coffee but I was pleasantly surprised they serve breakfast as well. I ordered a latte with mocha syrup. It was perfect. Beautiful design, delicious coffee, just a splash of that sweet chocolately flavor fromnthe mocha syrup. For fancier peeps they also offer lavendar syrup along with many other choices. The bacon quiche was good. But not amazing. I was a little disappointed in the crust. The crust was flaky but lacked flavor. The rest of the quiche itself was great and well balanced getting a bit of bacon in each bite. They also serve it with fruit on the side which was a pleasant surprise. This is one of those spots that welcomes and accomodates the solo patron or a small group planning on doing work. I have yet to try a coffee or other drink I didn't like. This is one of my favorite coffee houses and the one I visit the most since it's blocks away from my office. My coworkers and I joke about how it is our second office. We meet here regularly when we want to get something to eat or are simply looking for an excuse to get out. The space itself is super comfy and there's plenty of tables for people to sit at. It also has an amazing view of downtown. My favorite spot is right by the window. I also like that you're able to stand there with your laptop since it's high enough if you're tired of sitting. Customer service is always on point. Very friendly and helpful. My favorite thing to order for breakfast is their yogurt parfait. It's super simple yet very delicious. The honey they use is out of this world. I believe it is a local provider. You can also add fruit or nuts for an extra charge. During the fall my favorite thing to get was oatmeal. Very hearty and yummy. For lunch, I like their salad and sandwiches. I usually get a green tea and ask them to only use half a bag because it is extremely strong if they use the whole thing. Finally, this is also a great event space as they have a whole other room next to the main area. I have attended meetings, events, and even weddings! read more

Oh, Foolish Things, how my heart does love you so. This coffee shop is probably my new favorite in town. I'm a chemex coffee girl all the way, and their blends are fantastic. That's not even a good enough word. The vibe is so peaceful with huge windows giving you a great view of downtown Tulsa. And don't forget how awesome the staff is! I truly love this place, and I love the fact that they brew Cartel blends. That's a badass coffee shop/distributor in Arizona I've loved since visiting a couple years ago. They were not previously open on the weekends, but they've adjusted their schedule recently and added to staff, so now I really don't have any complaints! 12/31/18 - I think I will stick to strictly coffee or cold brew at the Foolish Things. Being someone who stays away from cows milk, I was excited to learn that foolish things made their own cashew milk. I ordered that today in a latte but sadly they were out of lavender. The barista suggested adding cardamom to it, and of course I took the suggestion. Bad idea all around! The cashew milk tasted extremely watered down, and the flavor was so unflattering. And some how my medium drink ended up costing nearly $7! I have no problem paying that much for a drink if it was worth it. My tip is to stay away from there cashew milk and stick with their coffees. #fatjared say...I wanted to give this place 5 stars SO BAD, and I HIGHLY suggest experiencing this place, but I have a couple complaints, and that is not perfect, so no 5 stars. Every review I do, I make sure I am consistent. Wherever I go, to get a perfect rating, the experience has to be perfect. I will start off with the not so perfect things about this place, because they are very small, and won't take long. SO much more upside here, and honestly, one of my favorites I have been to in Tulsa. Also, officially the BEST COLD BREW in the area. For the not so perfect, the price is high for sure. You do not need to charge $5 for a cold brew, when it is usually $3.50. I get up charging for the best, but that's a bit much for me, and it's a small size. The other thing, that I know might lose me followers, is I hate the paper straws. Yes it's better environmentally, but I am coming here to taste the coffee, and anyone who knows how to taste properly, knows that paper straws dull and effect the flavor. I just hate them that much, and was not happy when I got one. Now for the good. Because there's a lot. You can see in my pics the layout is awesome. Old timey vibe with a big fireplace in it, but with cool modern wood tables, and fun concrete everywhere. They have a list of the beans they are using that day, which is awesome, and that aged cold brew was scary good [once I tried it without the straw! :)]. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, it was an easy in and out, and you can tell they care about the product they put out. Sometimes I don't like being so consistent, but it is what's best. If you get food from here, make sure you're ready to take your order to the ER cause it's going to need some SERIOUS doctoring up. This business is delusional if they think they can charge money for their frankly revolting food. I was so disappointed by this $10 burrito that I felt I had to leave my first review ever. Imagine waking up on a Saturday wanting a breakfast burrito for brunch and getting this. First of all, the tortilla was dry and stale. I took 3 large bites and still, all I got was tortilla so I decided to open it and use the tortilla as a shell and just eat the inside because nobody wants full mouthfuls of an insipid tortilla. I open it and the amount on filling that was inside was comical. The potatoes and bacon were incinerated, there was ZERO salt or seasoning (pico was an add on) and it tasted like a carcinogen. Appalling. Where do you get off charging $10 for this? If someone told me to eat it and they'd pay me $10 I'd say no. What a waste. Look at the tortilla-filling ratio. My dog didn't even come over with hey puppy eyes hoping I share with her like she normally does when I eat. She was like "no thanks and RIP" I would not recommend this to anyone even as a prank. read more

They have a sort of industrial, minimalist space and 100% always have the best music on, which makes for great self-care generally. I'm a fan of their pour overs! I really enjoyed my visit to foolish things today. The weather definitely cooperated: it was sunny and beautiful and just perfect sitting out on the patio, talking to a friend, drinking coffee. It was kind of hard to drink the beautiful heart shaped froth emblem that was made but I did. I also enjoyed a quesadilla. This coffee shop gets 3 stars solely based on their incredible Vegetable Hash, as pictured. It was probably the best egg and potato mix I've ever had with just enough to satisfy you. Simply brilliant! Sadly it was just about the only positive I took away from my experience here. The name "Foolish Things" seems very fitting for what went wrong. As you can see in the picture; no I did not take a couple of sips from my coffee before I took this picture. THAT is the problem. My medium iced vanilla latte was more like a small after the ice. After I mistakenly said I wanted my order "to go" they served my iced latte in a glass cup, which by the way I hate and should never be even an option because you want to feel like you can leave with your drink at any time. Anyways, I digress. Was not an issue at all. The barista grabbed the glass cup and poured it into a plastic one. Again, no issue. Fine, don't make me a new drink. Totally cool. Except for one little small detail. The drink in the glass wasn't even enough to cover a traditional medium sized "to go" plastic cup!! So even if I decided to just drink it out of the glass cup, it wouldn't have been the amount that I paid for. Worst part wasn't even that, but as the barista handed me the coffee now in its plastic cup, it wasn't even close to being at the proper fill line, and she/he (couldn't tell) didn't even offer or take initiative to fill the cup to standard. Unbelievable. Truly unbelievable. Horrible service and didn't make things any better when I finally sat down with my now SMALL iced vanilla latte, to realize that the coffee was crap. No distinctive flavors or liveliness, and felt super light with ratios of milk portions inaccurate. I would say come for the egg veggie hash, and leave to get your coffee elsewhere; But this establishment has shown it doesn't care about it customers and their money so with that being said, avoid this place. read more
