Worst coffee shop I've ever been to in the area. Don't recommend. We Got a vanilla cappuccino and a French press with milk and both of the coffees were sour. I think the milk was sour, and The coffee beans tasted burnt. We paid 11$ for 2 coffees that we threw out and went to a different coffee shop instead. There were also no seats to sit down inside. The food cannot be customized (no onion) as it is all premade, and the taste reflects that. The taco was room temp with a rubbery shell. The wrap was bland. The pumpkin bread had raisins in it. I would not order any of it again and my dining partner felt the same. The iced coffee was the worst I've had in decades. It tasted like ice water with a squirt of coffee, the color looked like that as well- I've had darker iced tea. The ambiance would be nice enough but that it is kept dark with regularly spaced uncovered bright light bulbs and lamps is soooooo annoying. You can't look anywhere beyond your table without feeling like you're in an intertogation or at the dentist's office with that mouth lamp trained directly on your eyes. There are also two pianos. While we were there, there was music being piped in by Gypsy, other, more different music bleeding in from the pot shop in the entrance, and some teens hammering away on one of the pianos. During our time inside, only one song was "attempted" on the piano. The rest of the time it was being played randomly, arrhythmically, loud-quiet-loudly: very hard to ignore (especially when competing with two other sources of music) by the same teens. And, though this is quite a unique set of circumstances, the two star review is consistent with my visits to Gypsy since it opened. The subculture of person inside might change with days and times, it might be busier or slower but I've always had two star experiences. I never chose to go here, so I try and avoid it but every so often someone wants to go to revisit a high school hangout spot or because they have never been and heard so much about it. I ordered regular kolache and they gave me a jalapeño one so that was a costly mistake IMO. Do jot Go here if you're trying to keep to any kind of schedule restrictions. This is one of my favorite coffee shops around. The vibe is kind of 'woo hoo' meets hipster college study spot. Very moody and cozy-I like it. There are more flavor options here than anywhere else I've been in town and they have monthly drink options where they've played with the extensive flavor options and have created (mostly) really great drink concoctions. I have tried a few baked goods here and I do not remember ever being unsatisfied. The staff are pretty chill and willing to chat. I really enjoy the inside cozy vibe in colder weather, but love the back patio space in the warmer months. I was pretty disappointed with my experience today. In a coffee shop, I look forward to having a nice, relaxing time reading while I sip a coffee. However, I walked in and there was no music playing, but a large TV playing some random show for ambience. I ordered a latte and it came out smelling funny, almost like the barista put on too much hand lotion before making it and the scent stuck to the mug. To top things off, the barista got into a shouting match with either the manager/owner and many swear words were thrown. I heard them over my noise cancelling AirPods. It was fairly unnerving to witness such an argument, much less in a public setting in front of a customer. Furthermore, the barista and manager/owner continued to have a high-volume discussion that was incredibly distracting and kind of unnerving. While most customers want a calm, relaxing setting to their coffee shop, this place does not deliver. No music, mediocre coffee, and loud verbal arguments. Won't be coming back here. read more

It's dark and kind of a weird ambiance, opens at 8 but the doors didn't open until 8:10. I actually don't mind any of that but ordered an iced latte. Got a hot latte and debated saying anything but did and the barista responded that I needed to say I wanted it cold and she'd have to redo it, etc. I'm not confrontational but said I did and got more back at me so we left. Our receipt shows cold. I would have been happy throwing it in a cup with ice but the attitude and everything was a lot. I have always loved this place. I started coming here in my early 20s just out of college. It is nice to drop in once or twice a year to remind myself I used to be somewhat hip when I was young. This place is cozy and relaxed during a rainy Saturday early afternoon. Totally welcoming to an aging hipster like me. Leave the late hours to the youth that this place caters to come sundown. I strolled in here this week just because I liked the name. It turns out this place is absolutely great! The people that work there are so quirky and sweet. It seems like they really enjoy working there! The vibe of the place from the parking lot to the bathroom is so edgy and unique. They have restaurant booths, tables, bar stools, couches, benches, and all kinds of areas to grab coffee and lounge. The decor is all over the place but I love it. One ceiling is a Galaxy with drapes hanging from it while the other section is the day sky. The walls are decided with books and they even have board games and cards for the customers to use. There were also a couple guitars in a corner. Now let's talk about the good stuff... THE COFFEE! OMG THIS STUFF WAS LEGIT! I ordered a latte with toasted marshmallow flavor and it tasted just like a melted marshmallow! They put a cute little design on top and the drink had the most perfect amount of syrup in it, not too sweet and not too bitter. My mom and I hung out in here for a couple hours waiting for my brother to get out of class. It was a really cool spot and I'm very happy we stumbled in here! read more
