i started my new job today and since i got there an hour early, i walked around to see what's to…read moreoffer in the area. i was looking for some coffee and cafe cubana popped up and was right up the street, it was clutch. walking up to the door, a lady held the door for me, i come to find out that she was part of the staff (possibly the manager). the lady who took my order was very nice. they had a sign by the register with a special drink and it was the raspberry danish latte, i didn't look at anything else because that's what i went with. there were a handful of baked good to choose from. i ended up getting a powerfood cookie (my first time trying one... i enjoyed it). the latte was really good. the raspberry was at the bottom of the cup and on top of the cream cheese foam. the drink comes in 3 sizes, i had the 12 oz. it gave me the buzz i needed (it was also iced). there are a handful of milk alternatives, i swapped regular with coconut milk. purchases come with rewards points. i'm sure this won't be the last time i stop by so i can start rackin' some points up in no time. cafe cubana also has smoothies if you're not in the mood for coffee. the menu is stacked! there's also a drive thru.

I like their drip coffee and they have this really spectacular drink called the Sunny Spro (lemonade, sparkling/tonic water, lavender, and espresso) that took me by surprise and became one of my all-time favorite drinks! Some people working, some people socializing, but not crowded or loud. It's in the burbs but feels quiet and plenty of parking. Menu- my almond orange latte was truly life-changing. I will be trying to recreate this at home for sure. Not sweet but lots of flavor. The espresso here is excellent, not sour or bitter, very smooth. The blueberry muffin was truly the best muffin I've had in my life, and I do not say this lightly, I am quite picky about muffins. Fluffy and moist, the blueberries were not mushy. And the jalapeno scones was shockingly good and it was even gluten free. It was more similar to a shortbread in texture, which I preferred over a scone actually. Very buttery and tasty, not spicy if you're sensitive to that. It was $17 for these items, so higher than expected, but spot on for unparalleled quality. Friendly service, and very fast. Can't wait to go back, this place is just doing everything right.

They have a nice sitting area where you can dim the lights and just enjoy the electric fire place and find some ambience in peace. If you are feeling like hanging out with your friends or family... they also have connect four and other games to enjoy. They have free WiFi and the seats are very comfortable. Their drinks are incredible. They have a large menu.... haven't tried more than three drinks so far.
