I've been trying to find a few new coffee spots on my way to work. This one is almost right off the Creek Turnpike. I actually visited twice in a two day period. My first stop was on Friday morning before work. The owner was very friendly. My latte was a bit strong but OK. We stopped in again on Saturday morning before the herb festival. My latte was actually better this day. We also tried some of the baked goods: a slice of pistachio bread (which was a great shade of green) and a slice of almond-poppy seed bread. Good flavor but they were a little dry. I'm assuming it was one of the other owners who waited on us. Again, super friendly (and fast). Be aware that their coffee sleeves might not be workplace appropriate depending on where you work. Just sayin'. :) I will stop in again. Their breakfast and lunch menu looked good! read more

This is a super cute coffee shop in downtown Jenks. I popped in before a work meeting. The lady working was smoking outside, but came in to make orders. Menu is very basic. My latte was extremely basic with Kirkland brand almond milk and cheap syrups and 16 oz for $8 making it $10 with tip. This shop is extremely artsy and funky inside with great cozy vibes and seating. Excellent experience at this unique, local coffee shop. Trevor helped us decide what to order and shared part of his story with us. The food was perfect. A chai latte, kitchen sink cookie and the chicken bacon ranch sandwich were a decadent trio that combined for a special treat for lunch. Well folks are right as rain about the owner Trevor and his sister that operate this cute coffee house. Warm and welcoming they both are that in spades. It's a family run business, each family member makes their own specialty items to enjoy like the cookies or the pastries and coffee cakes. Thursday night is for live music, anyone with a time to sing or play is welcome to showcase their talent. Art decorates the walls and is for sale. They buy their beans from a local roaster, keeping it all local is helping every one. By the way, Trevor makes a good cup of coffee and has mastered the art of artful drinks. read more

I decided to go to the coffee grinder on a whim, and I'm glad I did! I was starving and decided to order their bacon ranch croissant meal, it was a ton of food and totally worth the price. It was a nice day for a brisk walk at Haikey Creek Park. A little cool a little windy, but beats the 100-degree summer days. I had to bribe my wife to get her out on the trail. Today the bribe was a coffee at The Coffee Grinder in Jenks. This is a very nicely decorated shop with a relaxing atmosphere. Regular tables and chairs, stools, comfortable easy chairs and a couch. Colorful art work covers every wall. A small bakery and kitchen occupy a portion of the store. You can grab a stool and watch the activity through the glass window. My wife commented on the way home that she saw a blueberry something or other pastry, that may require a trip back. It appears to be a family operation. The very nice lady behind the counter made me a perfect Mocha. My wife ordered a hazelnut latte. What my wife and I both liked about the drinks was the smooth coffee and the right amount of flavoring. Neither drink was overloaded with syrup. We sat for a while enjoying the ambiance and sipped our coffees. Adjoining the coffee shop is DUTCH Dispensary. I just wanted to throw that information out there because you might see a "Roach," if you know what I mean. You can enter the dispensary from the coffee shop, if you are in need of medication to counter and mellow the effect of the caffeine in the coffee. I am guessing that both stores are owned by the same folks that have the coffee shop. The very positive reviews on Google and Yelp document the many reviewers' enjoyment of the coffee. Loved this place! I was scouting out new options because I'm moving soon. This is near one of my picks! I would love having coffee here all the time. The coffee was very good. I'm putting it up at the top of my new favorite coffee shop finds!! The mocha frappe was delicious! I hear the food is great as well. I can't wait to order some lunch next time and just sit and chill here. Plenty of places to sit, quiet peaceful atmosphere, and the employees were super sweet and just down to earth. I felt very welcomed, and comfortable. They also had a TV which I thought was cool because I haven't ever seen a coffee shop with a TV . They had it on the Cooking Channel. I like it . They also have a book library where you can take a book and bring it back . They also had a cat in a cage and it was super chill. It's up for adoption. I noticed a piano as well. They are attached to a dispensary. Two separate business, but the door is adjoining and open. This coffee shop is one of a kind in Oklahoma because they're going for the Amsterdam coffeehouse feel they said. Their patio is very cute even has a barbecue out there and it's 420 friendly. Both me and my husband love coffee shops after a day of shopping around town and on our way back from tulsa we seen this little shop on the corner and stopped to try it out. We went inside and right after we opened the doors we were greeted with a "Hello" and friendly faces. The atmosphere was warm and whimsical in a way. It was quiet and overall very pleasant upon the first initial impression. We did not catch the name of the man working that day but we tried to make our order with the girl at the register and I don't quite know what the complication was but she went to go get the man and he took amazing care of the situation. We ordered finally and waited maybe ten minutes or so for our order which was just two dirty iced chai lattes but we were perfectly fine with the wait because the coffee was truly amazing. We will be back again this coffee was one of the best we've tried for sure! I cannot recommend the iced chai latte enough!! read more

Tried this place for the first time and was tremendously and pleasantly surprised! The coffee and food are all phenomenal and affordably priced imo. I particularly like that the location has great parking and the shopping strip surrounding it seems clean and well-maintained. Of extreme importance to me, the employees who were there were exceptionally kind and accommodating, hand delivering the takeout food and drink in a timely and friendly manner and permitting me a menu and patience as I browsed their food and beverage options. They also seemed pleased to be there, which is always a good sign! The iced latte I got, "The Bee's Knees," consisting of honey, cinnamon, and vanilla was DELICIOUS. One of those "love-at-first-sip" moments for me. The coffee has great profile and taste. The flavor of the iced latte was really well-done too! Often, I find some coffee places don't put enough flavor into menu options, but The Coffee Grinder has a great balance of coffee, flavor, and taste, without being too sweet. Loved it! The bacon avocado turkey sandwich meal was supremely tasty and well done - would definitely get it again! Came out warm and fresh, with the options (as of this writing) of getting it in a baked potato or croissant with a side of chips included. I got it as a croissant sandwich, but I always like seeing innovative and interesting alternatives. The croissant was amazing, and completed the sandwich. The baked potato option is one I might try sometime, but I can certainly imagine how others might find more benefit when coming from the neighboring location... When the description of the environment mentions "Amsterdam-style" they really mean it, and it comes off quite nicely! The area is ordained with unique artwork, designs, and art pieces that really give it a great, laid-back, jovial atmosphere to both hang out and work in. It shares a wall and a door with a neighboring dispensary (a unique thing to see at a coffee shop), but as one who usually finds such "aromas" off-putting and not my style (to each their own) I was pleased to notice that no such scents were disrupting or taking away at all from the experience or presence of the environment. I came and enjoyed the coffee and food, and would largely recommend The Coffee Grinder to anyone wanting to try out a new, well-designed, art-decorated coffee place. read more

They are a family business and they treat their customers like family. All beverages are great. I love their iced blue matcha (yes it's blue!) because the green tea isn't caffeinated which is great for the late afternoons. Their baked goods always are yummy. Love the quiet inviting atmosphere! Oh, I am SO GLAD to have my Jenks coffee shop back again. The second Gypsy location closed down at the end of 2022, and now the business is re-open as The Coffee Grinder. It's still attached to Eufloria and is very friendly towards the medicated community. The coffee drinks are MUCH better than the sadly declining coffee at Gypsy when it was still open. Trevor and his crew are super sweet and working hard to make this a good spot. There's been a refresh of the interior, a lot more seating, and no annoying TV blaring anymore. They made a very nice mocha, not overly sweet. As a baker I'm normally a little disappointed with coffee shop baked goods, but the scone I tried had a great crisp exterior while remaining incredibly moist inside.
