i started my new job today and since i got there an hour early, i walked around to see what's to offer in the area. i was looking for some coffee and cafe cubana popped up and was right up the street, it was clutch. walking up to the door, a lady held the door for me, i come to find out that she was part of the staff (possibly the manager). the lady who took my order was very nice. they had a sign by the register with a special drink and it was the raspberry danish latte, i didn't look at anything else because that's what i went with. there were a handful of baked good to choose from. i ended up getting a powerfood cookie (my first time trying one... i enjoyed it). the latte was really good. the raspberry was at the bottom of the cup and on top of the cream cheese foam. the drink comes in 3 sizes, i had the 12 oz. it gave me the buzz i needed (it was also iced). there are a handful of milk alternatives, i swapped regular with coconut milk. purchases come with rewards points. i'm sure this won't be the last time i stop by so i can start rackin' some points up in no time. cafe cubana also has smoothies if you're not in the mood for coffee. the menu is stacked! there's also a drive thru. read more

If I didn't know better, I would think this place is located in a hospital. You'd think the name would carry over to the vibe, but it's soulless. From the bakery items, to the grab and go fridge, to the coffee cups, absolutely no individualism. "drip coffee, or black coffee, in a medium size, or like a regular size," then looking up at the menu board, i'd seen a café américano drink with which i'm familiar enough to assert is similar in taste to drip coffee, although which i'd assume has a distinctive taste from the particular coffee shop under consideration; perhaps on another visit, however, since the drip coffee was groundingly flavorful and moderately energizing, although i'm still not 100 por ciento whether i got drip coffee or black coffee. ay d10s mío, and not to mention English or spanish considerations. deciría café negro en la mayoría de probilidades, pero ya curioso, ¿comó se dice "drip coffee" en español? tengo un ideá. service the service was akin to g*dliness next to perfect practice, with the highlight for me being the worker answering the question i implied thru ordering, whether to call the medium size drink a medium or regular; hint: former, first, upper left. ambiance comfortingly consistent from only previous visit i recall, with a table by the same spot next to a wall outlet, where i'd previously drawn with fabric markers on a pair of jeans in imitation of a thermal handprints design i've seen before on the pinterest app. also, i quite appreciated the art piece hanging by that spot, tho i'm not positive if it was there on last visit. and lastly, the sitting area with plush couch and chairs was reminiscent of at least a couple coffee shops where i've been, although with distinct design and color scheme that, to me, give the shop appeal as a vibrant daytime spot that stays open late enough to allow the store interior to reflect the outside climate. oh and ps, the inside counter especially, of course along with the proximity to a cigar lounge, resembles the previous café cubana location enough for nostalgic diners and drinkers such as me. read more

This is a really great little coffee shop on Sheridan. Nice selections (my first time trying Cafe con Leche!) and friendly, helpful staff. I find that it's practically always empty, which is a shame, but it's good when you want to be alone. I find the casual seating area awkward--the couch is very low. They could do with taking out at least one of the several tables and chairs, as that seating area is just too tight. Because it's small, every conversation is big--upon walking in the first time and ordering coffee, there was a very sensitive and potentially volatile conversation going on between three people in the couch area, and I left as quickly as possible. But I also met a new friend there on another occasion for coffee and a review of an application on his laptop, and it was a pleasant place to conduct business. I was driving by and popped in for a drink, and I'm so glad I did! They have a ton of flavors and can make any coffee concoction you could want. I decided to try their Dirty Chai, and it was incredible! I also grabbed a Superfood Cookie, and it was delicious! Will definitely be back! read more

Small little coffee shop that offers excellent coffee drinks including Cuban expresso. Has a drive through that may take longer to use. Faster just to walk in the shop. The shop has been around for quite sometimes but doesn't seem to have much customers. Absolutely worth giving a try. read more

We have been trying coffee around Tulsa. Right now, if I had to pick a favorite it would be Café Cubana because of the superb full bodied deep rich coffee flavor in their drinks. My wife had an iced latte and I had a café con leche with a shot of chocolate. The delicious coffee flavor was prominent in both drinks. My wife usually says when something is good, it is the best she ever had. Today she said that three times. That means it really is good. Excellent service. This is a small comfortable coffee shop. A good place to relax and enjoy genuinely delicious coffee. The shop has been in business since 1999. read more

Very good frozen mochas! My friend had the Chai and loved it. I tasted it. It was very " Fall " and I really enjoyed my mocha. Café Cubana's was very clean, and very friendly staff. Bathroom was clean as well. They offer a military discount. read more

Absolutely run to try the coffee here! My husband and I enjoy it so much we've been 2X in a row and took a cold brew for the next am. They staff and owner are really nice, engaging and offer perfect suggestions for what to order, add to your coffee or how to modify to fit your needs. Such smooth and delicious flavor it my iced cuban con leche that I can't wait to get another one! Sadly, they are not in my state. A friend of mine had been telling me about this place since they have a really strong Cubano. And since I was in town for a workshop, I had to stop by. I had a good welcome, and the staffs were friendly. I was going to get the Cubano, but I ended up getting their café con leche. It's not overly sweet, very aromatic, and had a strong taste. Somehow, the coffee didn't leave a lasting impression. I also had their bacon and eggs quiche, flavor wise it was okay. But, the filling was a bit firm, and the quiche didn't taste fresh since it tasted like it had been sitting out for a day or so. read more

I cannot believe I have not been here yet but I'm glad I finally made a visit. The cubano will give you the jitters (anxiety but faster) so fair warning. It was delicious and strong, perfect for an addict like myself. The superfood cookie was freshly made, not so sweet- just the way I like my sweets, not overbearing. I will definitely revisit! #fatjared say...first review after COVID, hoping for a fun time, but below average unfortunately. The time has come where we can be present in restaurants again, and the service should now be back to a review worthy status. For my grading criteria, 5 stars is 0 complaints, and 1 star is absolutely nothing good to say (since we can't give 0 stars). The beginning of this experience was good. New construction, just opened last Thanksgiving, very clean and good decor, nice outside seating, and solid menu options. That's what I liked about the place. After that it was all downhill. The cold brew was bland, watered down, no real punch of flavor, and the latte was basically like drinking milk. I honestly think the beans are folgers. No uniqueness or flavor in those options at all. My fiance' and I try to find new places for good coffee, and Cuban coffee sounded great. That is NOT this place. The food and smoothie options may be better, but you can buy better tasting coffee at Whole Foods and brew it yourself at home. WAY below average, and if the decore and menu options weren't good it would be a 1 star place for sure. Kind of like lipstick on a pig unfortunately. read more

Love this location! The baristas are so friendly and they always have my favorites in stock. It was sad to see the move locations from Cherry Street where they had been so long, but the new construction is endearing. The menu is easy to read and the employees are helpful. I love the muffins!
