The coffee is excellent for a reasonable price, better than Starbucks. However, I went through the drive through last Friday before work to order 4 drinks, and had to modify one of them. For some reason the woman in the drive through rang me up for 6 drinks. I didn't know that they were making 6 drinks until I was getting my coffee out of the window because she never read the order back to me before I paid for it. I didn't make a stink about it to her because I get it, I work in food service too, but you should always read the order back to somebody before submitting it. I will be coming back again because the coffee is fantastic and the service was good besides that, but if you're going through the drive through please be careful when communicating with the servers and communicate extra clearly. It didn't help that the person behind me was honking. Maybe the patrons could learn a thing or two about patience. read more

Wow! This place is amazing. I ordered the cold brew with moon milk. My daughter ordered the frozen hot chocolate. Both were excellent. We also tried the chorizo breakfast burrito, bacon breakfast burrito, and the bacon & cheese turnover. All three were great but the turnover was the BEST! Service was quick! We ate inside but everything is ready in case you need to take it to go. Also, they have a drive through window if you are in a rush. Ambience is cute. We stopped by here after dinner for a cup of coffee/hot chocolate. My hot chocolate was super sweet. It tasted like it had marshmallow cream or syrup in it. Personally I'm a latte without flavored syrup and black coffee girly so if you're like me and can skip all the added sugar, this place can work for you. But if you prefer the sweet diabetes triggering drinks then it can work for you too. Different strokes for different folks ya know! The lattes are based on different ratios of milk to the amount of sweetened cream you'd like. The sweet cream tastes amazing! I was warmly greeted and when I explained that I was First time customer I was informed of their offerings. I ordered a cappuccino and a coffee cake. Both were pretty good. The coffee cake was not my favorite being a little dry with a little too much frosting. An assortment of branded coffee mugs, caps, etc. are available for purchase as well as bagged coffee. A couple of weeks before this visit, I found out they had a breakfast burrito with chorizo & from that moment forward, I knew that's what I was going to try without question. You can get salsa if you want (makes it even better). The burrito was stuffed with eggs, cheese & hash browns and they're pre-wrapped so they're ready to go as soon as you order. Speaking of ready to go, I usually see this with a long line outside that (sometimes) flows into Cherry Street. I must've caught them at the right time (a little after they opened and went inside) because even with it being a Saturday, I was in & out. They had two coffee options & it was hard for me to choose. I wish I can remember the name of the coffee, it was their brew of the month. Due to it being limited, I wanted to try it before I ended up coming back for their other option that was going to be more available. The coffee was really really good. Thrilled to have Simmer Moon in Tulsa after first enjoying it in Frisco, TX. It's a wonderful spot for gathering by the fireplace with friends over a cup of coffee. While the pastry selection is limited, the coffee (and breakfast burritos) make up for it. However, a recurring issue is the frequent unavailability of the featured drip coffee--this has happened all six times I've ordered it. It's a bit frustrating, and I've even encountered times where the alternative option was ALSO out of stock. Patience is key. The drive through can be an issue because it backs up into 15th street, but at least there's plenty of parking to run in instead. My one complaint and why I say 4 stars - they are constantly out of burritos and salsa, even early in the morning. The burritos are delicious! I don't understand why they haven't been able to fix whatever ordering issue is causing this. They are out of burritos more often than they have burritos, in my experience. read more

I like the taste of their coffee very much. I am very annoyed that adding enough sweetener to my coffee to make it be really good will cost me roughly 2 dollars beyond the base coffee that's 3.25, or 3.50 I think. If I ask them to just put the normal amount of base sweetener, as if you received the classic at Starbucks, (which does not cost extra), and they charge me something like two dollars or 250 on top of the base call cost of my Coffee. I have been to hundreds of coffee shops and never seen any business charge for a little bit of sweetener. It's kind of implicit that people might want that. Both were really good, if you are familiar with Phil's coffee, it is kinda similar in that they have signature "moon milk" which is their version of a yummy sweet cream. Interior is nicely done, would be a good spot to sit at work out of. They also have drive thru. read more

Highly recommend! Best coffee in Tulsa! First, great coffee all around. Their in house regular brews and roasted coffee beans are fresh and they have multiple roasts to try. Lattes, Moon Milk is their "creamer/milk" and it is amazing! You can choose how sweet you prefer, I think the half is perfect sweetness and doesn't overpower the coffee flavor. Second, the shop itself if a great place to hang out and enjoy with friends or to work/read/etc. Lastly, the workers each time we have gone have been amazing, very nice and can answer your questions if you are super picky or new to the spot. Found this chain in Texas when we lived there and moving back to Tulsa we didn't find any coffee that we enjoyed as much as Summer Moon. Give it a try! read more

I'm from CA and was visiting family in Tulsa during the Summer. I love checking out local coffee shops and Summer Moon Cafe name sounds really intriguing. Initially walking in, was very pleasing and setting a very harmonious environment. Staff was friendly and helped address their most popular drinks. I order the Ice Mocha Moon Latte and it was thicker than I expected. Despite the unexpected thickness, I'm still interested in trying their other drinks in the future. The space inside is really nice and modern, and there's outlets for those working on laptops. It's one of very few cafes in Tulsa open til 8pm, so a great option for late afternoon and evening studying. The coffee is fine and they offer breakfast burritos and some sweets too. Free parking in the back. My one complaint is that it is consistently freezing inside -- I go to a lot of cafes and this is the coldest cafe in town, regardless of temperature outside. They must spend a fortune on electric bills for AC. I asked a barista about it the other day and he just agreed and said he wished he could do something about it. So...bring a coat. read more
