Food was delish had the tropical omelet and home fries nice and crispy, soft pancakes!!! Cook is on it!! $13 plate Service Sucky! Waitress forgot about us and didn't take order for like 7-10min and even told us she forgot about us. Then barely came back to check on us. Could do better or get more help. Clean and quick service once order was taken! Big portions for ya money

Eggs Benedict, Grits, Coffee, and OJ.

OK, so I'm writing this review 2 weeks after my 1st visit. This time I ordered Eggs Benedict (poached medium), and chose Grits as my side (ordered w/cheese, added some of that butter and salt and pepper). It was glorious! The eggs were perfectly poached, whites cooked thru and yolks runny (see picture). The hollandaise sauce was super creamy. The grits really hit the spot. YUM all around!

Timmy's Nailed it! The breakfast meal that I use to compare diners is: two over easy, hashbrowns crispy, bacon crispy, one biscuit and gravy. If you want to see what this simple meal looks like when it is cooked to perfection and served attractively on the platter, check the picture. That is it.. That's what it is supposed to look like. Fresh, appetizing in appearance, beautiful on the plate. Delicious food. If you had seen my plate when I finished, you would not have been able to tell what meal I had. The plate was clean and polished down to the porcelain with the remaining half of the biscuit; like it had just come out of the dishwasher. My wife had the Timmy's breakfast "light." I would describe it as a skillet meal, hash browns, bacon, sausage, ham, tomatoes, green onion, cheese all topped with two eggs. My wife awarded her meal with the comment, "the best diner breakfast that I have ever had" and threw in the special recognition, "we will have to come back here for breakfast again." That is a significant comment that she seldom awards to diner food. The service is excellent. The cozy little diner is clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy. Because of its location it may be overlooked and under rated. Try it! It's Good!

First, our waiter was a younger gentleman who was very sweet and did a great job waiting on us! We appreciate you! My husband got the big boy pancakes which consisted of 3 pancakes which tasted just like my mommas, bacon, eggs, sausage patty, and sausage links. For like $12. I ordered a side of biscuit and gravy. Our food was delicious and such a good price!! Will be back!!

The interior needs updating and needs to be cleaned. My fiancé got the three cheese omelet with biscuits and gravy. His review: gravy was watery, the food was plain/simple. Nothing special. My review: I truly enjoyed my sandwich. It was lite and tasty! And the fruit was very fresh. We both thought the service was EXCELLENT!! The waitresses were kind and on top of it! We never ran out of drinks and our food came out fast. I would recommend this place but my fiancé would not.

Wound up with The Wife, The Kid and Baby Girl (code name for my oldest) one Saturday morning looking for breakfast. We were coming in from Broken Arrow heading toward Midtown, and I remembered Timmy's had been on my Yelpdar for some time now. The last couple of times I'd tried, the parking lot was overflowing. The Wife was a little leery at first, citing the overall appearance of the exterior couple with the location, but I assured her it would all be good. Yelp! has never let me down. We were seated immediately. The booths were spacious and accommodating as well as clean and in good shape. That's not something you can say for a lot of small diners in Tulsa, so it's worth mentioning. The Kid went with silver dollar pancakes and a side of bacon. Baby Girl went with Eggs Benny with the eggs cooked well. She doesn't do runny yolks. The Wife had a Denver Omelet and bisuits and gravy, while I settled for a Meat Lover's omelet, hash browns and B&G. First, The Kid's silver dollar pancakes were more like DVD pancakes. They were huge, and good. The bacon on the side was one of the better pieces of bacon I've had around Tulsa. If your order doesn't have bacon on it, do yourself a favor and get some extra. Baby Girl's Eggs Benny was also really well done. I tried a bite and decided the hollandaise was one of the best I've had in Tulsa. Probably even better than the one I make. Yeah, that hurt a little to type that. She also commented that the muffins were light and fluffy without being hard at all. The last few places (one in particular) she's had EB, the muffin was almost like a hockey puck. Once thing I have to note, because I throw it all out there, good and bad.... she found a hair under one of the muffins. We brought it to our server's attention, and within minutes, a completely fresh order was at our table. It happens everywhere, but it's how you deal with it that makes or breaks a business. They handled this one superbly. Our omelets were both flavorful and well cooked, not the slightest bit rubbery. Hash browns were cooked well, if not a tad overdone for my personal taste, but that's just me. Biscuits were light and airy with plenty of creamy tasty gravy to go with them. Overall, Timmy's was a win in my book. Great service, friendly people, and good, good food.

    Seriously.Hook em Horns.

Yup... just perfect in every way. Waitress bubbly , coffee good and never mt, food delish! This is our first time, leaving today. Thanks yelp again. This is pretty close to the Flying J truck stop where we r parked. Nice to zip around in a rental but I think we could have bobtailed over here in a pinch and parked too! I ordered Eggs Bene by other yelper. Well they were correct so yummy with home fries too. Bf had the big Boy Omelet with pineapple , sausage bacon onion extra cheese spinach avo! He said he wasn't hungry but polished it off just fine! Also the small dollar size pancakes were pretty awesome. So five stars all around for the local joint baby.

Server No clue. Didn't say her name. Ambiance When we got here. There were only a couple of tables that were either clean or open. The vast majority were occupied. The decor is good for the sports fan. Lots of big 12 team merchandise. Some quiet nostalgic. Food They do not serve sweet tea. If you like the southern sweet tea (I don't), you won't get it here. We both ordered the Hawaiian chicken. The side salads came out right away, and were prepared as requested. The chicken was cooked through out. But the high light was the pineapple. The chicken itself had little flavor, and lacked any real depth with regards to taste. The fried zucchini was NOT good. She did not like the mix and it's too overwhelming to get any of the zucchini. The curly fries were cold, but still had that classic taste. The smell was off, but is probably due to the oil being a bit old perhaps. The food was just okay. Overall If you like the sound of screaming kids, this is the place for you. Me not so much. They do not provide wifi, but can be obtained from the neighboring business. Military Some how I doubt it.

Doesn't look like much! But WOWED by the cooking. We came for breakfast the meal was delicious, service was excellent. Portions big and In expensive. If I didn't live out of town this would be one of my favorite local spots to eat.

This is a 10 Ingredient, 5 egg omelet. Ya, you read that right. Huooge!

Good place to eat! Clean, quick, and tasty food. Nice atmosphere with old school Diner feel. Pictured: These are 10 Ingredient, 5 egg omelets. Ya, you read that right. Huooge! Very tasty. The biscuit (only 1 BTW) was a let down. Supposedly made on site, it had a pre-packaged freezer burn taste and very dry. But I'm picky about my biscuits. I reserve 5 stars for consistency so next time I'm in the area I'll try again then adjust or leave the review accordingly.

    Yum!

I've lived 60 years less than 2 miles from 61st & Memorial. How I missed the Silver Skillet until…read morenow, I can't answer, but I'm sad that I've missed this place for so long. We went on a Thursday afternoon at 4:00, so we didn't expect it to be busy. There were a few people there but not a bunch. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and shown to a booth. Our waitress brought our menus and silverware right behind the hostess. She asked if we knew what we wanted to drink and I ordered Decaf Coffee. My wife deferred to later once she knew what she was going to eat. The coffee arrived a few minutes later and I placed my order for the Belgian Waffle, 2 eggs scrambled, Hash Browns, and 2 Sausage Links. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict and a side of biscuits and gravy and regular coffee. First before I forget, I am somewhat of a portly fellow. I carry about 70 pounds more than my doctor likes, and it's all right above my belt. Remember that the hostess put us in a booth, which usually is a challenge for me, because of my extra tire that I carry. But I was pleasantly surprised that this booth was spacious. It had plenty of room for us extra large folks without trying to move the table. The coffee, was good. Remember that I drink decaf coffee, so when I say it was good, thats saying a lot. I even asked the waitress if she had forgotten and brought me regular coffee and she assured me it was decaf. When the food arrived, I was so impressed by how good it looked, I forgot to take a photo, so the attached photo shows what was left when I was full. The waffle was the main thing I was after. I love waffles, and it's hard to find a good waffle. The menu claims they are Belgian Waffles, and I cannot disagree. They tasted like the Belgian Waffles I had in Paris, so I believe they are. The has browns normally don't rate a mention, but these hash browns were soft and not crunchy, and tasted like I expected hash browns to taste, from the first bite to the last. The eggs were scrambled well, which I would have preferred loose, but that's my fault for not specifying. I also ordered link sausage which was cooked as it should be. Next time I'll order bacon. The reason I avoided the bacon is that most places either burn it or leave it partially raw. Based on how the rest of my meal was cooked, I expect the bacon will be cooked right. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

Well - we passed the Hooters to get here (I thought they all went out of business but I could see…read morethis one was still doing business) and went to the Silver Skillet on 61st street near the intersection of 61st and Memorial in Tulsa. The food options seemed endless and the menu was quite large and included breakfast to dinner items all day when they are open! I also noted milkshakes and rootbeer floats and the like - plus a display of cakes and pies for sale! I settled on breakfast with banana, strawberry Nutella crepes and scrambled eggs with bacon. The wife did the same. The food was excellent served like an old fashioned diner style setting and I started my breakfast with an appetizer slice of pecan pie. The kids each got a milkshake with hamburger for one and Mac n' cheese for the other. The server was friendly and helpful and her name was Rachel. She did a great job and we enjoyed dining with her as our server!
