Today's winner of the catchiest table top advertising slogan is......... The diner is on the corner of N. Elm and W. Queens St. W. Queens is the street that you turn on, to get to Planet Fitness. It presents a dilemma to many, a difficult choice, food or the treadmill. The temptation of Mom's Family Diner derails the good intentions of many. I have been by it hundreds of times in the mornings. The parking lot is always packed and the street is congested with cars and trucks. More cars there than at the gym. It is loved by the locals. It is a clean restaurant. Typical diner décor. Today's special hand written on a white board conspicuously displayed to catch your eye. Walls of knickknacks, advertising memorabilia and signs with snappy relatable little phrases to make you smile. And my favorite, the table top advertising. Cathy was our friendly server. Club sandwich and fries for me. An excellent meat packed, thick bacon, triple decker with a plate of fries. A filling meal. My wife had the less exciting, but still very good Ham and Cheese on rye. The restaurant has great daily specials. Their menu covers all three daily meals. While waiting for the food to arrive I entertained myself by searching the table top for the best advertising slogan. Check the pictures for today's winner. Eat at Mom's Family Diner!

We arrived to a packed house at Mom's family Diner on a Saturday mid morning. Even though people were parking in the street, we were able to snag one of the last booths. We were greeted promptly and with a smile. After much debate (because there were a ton of yummy options) I settled on the western omelette. It was good, it the biscuits and gravy stole the show for me. The biscuit was soft and fluffy, full of flavor. I could have just had a meal of that and been happy! My son got the kids pancakes and added chocolate chips. It was loaded with chocolate and he was thrilled. The coffee was hot and fresh, food was delicious and the staff was amazing. Even though it was super busy, it was not too loud in the diner setting. Definitely will be a staple for us for family weekend breakfast!

This location is part of a small Tulsa chain of locally owned restaurants. With that said, you don't have multiple locations if the food and service aren't good. I have dined in all of their locations and consistency in food quality, large portions and great service are what makes me come back, and to all of them! This spot though, is conveniently located off the Broken Arrow Expressway (highway 51, or the B.A.) and is near Bass Pro Shop. When you come here, come super hungry and be prepared to step into an old school equally grungy and awesome diner. This is not a shiny, super trendy type place. This is where the locals go. All are welcome here regardless of how you dress and how you look and everyone is treated well and like family. In my family, being treated like family means you're going to be given a LOT of food. It's all reasonably priced and delicious. I'm a huge fan of their breakfast offerings and in the afternoon I love a good bacon cheese burger with onion rings and a side of ranch. The sweet tea is sweet and not too sweet! Overall a great place to stop in flying solo or with a small group. If you're passing through and looking for some solid food, welcome to Broken Arrow, OK!

So homey! First time here, and it didn't disappoint. We went on a Tuesday mid afternoon. Was seated quickly. The staff were very friendly and honesty we felt like family. I can't for the life remember our servers name, but she was awesome. Made my parents feel like they were being taken care of. Tried chicken and waffles for the very first time, and what could I say? We wanted more! The chicken was tender and juicy. Also, the Popeye omelet was delicious! Great portion sizes.

Mom's Diner is the definition of a diner! A lot for your money. DELICIOUS FOOD! Great service!

2x2x2 and coffee to set the weekend up right.

Nutshell: No frills diner. Good pancakes, decent prices, hits the hunger spot if that's what you're needing. I came in prime time on a weekend morning, so it was quite busy. Since it was just me I was able to get seated right away at the counter. Everyone at the counter seemed to be a regular, so it's that kinda of place. I got a coffee to start and a 2x2x2. The plate consists of two pancakes, two eggs (I went scrambled), and two pieces of meat (extra crispy bacon for me). The bacon was very tasty and crisp. The pancakes were huge and hit the spot. I ended up needing a box for the second pancake for an afternoon snack. Coffee was your typical diner coffee. It provided the required caffeine, but it's on the darker/bitter side. Service was prompt and nice enough. I wasn't rushed and my coffee cup stayed full. The total came to about $12. Not terrible for a breakfast and a snack. As it's name suggests, it's a family diner and the feel and menu is true to form. Its functional, not fancy. It's worth a stop in. If you come on the weekends for breakfast prepare for a wait.

"Home fries" aka just huge cuts of barely cooked, unflavored potatoes. No small, fried, season cuts like every other diner is. Wasted it

5 stars for the service! The food wasn't anything special. But what I didn't like the most, is how the home fries, were literally barely cook, mostly raw potatoes. I've ate at a lot of diners in my life time and home fries are meant to be small, crispy, fried cuts of potato. Pretty much wasted most of the plate and paid just for the bacon and eggs - which weren't anything special either. Our waitress was very friendly and great at her job though!

Mom's bacon breakfast sandwich and seasoned potatoes. Yummy!!

Me and my husband were greeted and seated kindly and promptly. I ordered the Mom's Bacon Breakfast Sandwich with Seasoned Potatoes and Hot Chocolate with Whipped Cream Yummy!!!! Hubby had Mom's Fried Pork Chops with Hashbrowns and wheat berry toast. It could use just a little gravy he said. We will definitely recommend and be back again!

Chicken Fried Steak dinner with Fried Okra and Mashed Potatoes

My husband had been wanting to give this place a try for quite awhile. We were planning on having dinner with my grandma, and she had been wanting to try this restaurant too, so that's where we went. We went on a Saturday around 5 and there were a few large groups but not overrun. We had no wait and were sat in a booth close to the kitchen. Our server was friendly and efficient, and anticipated some of our needs before we knew we had them. My husband and I shared a Chicken Fried Steak dinner with fried okra and mashed potatoes, and the dinners come with rolls. There was definitely enough there to share, but we have smaller appetites. Grandma ordered her own and ate most of it. The CFS was really good! The breading was well seasoned and the meat was tender. The mashed potatoes were really good, the gravy was really good, and the fried okra was awesome. The food came out nice and hot...like so hot that we couldn't eat it right away, which is not a complaint. We are so accustomed to getting semi-warm food at restaurants that when I get something hot I am like OMG WHAT HAPPENED?! The price was on par for the amount of food we received. We will definitely we coming back!

Well - we passed the Hooters to get here (I thought they all went out of business but I could see…read morethis one was still doing business) and went to the Silver Skillet on 61st street near the intersection of 61st and Memorial in Tulsa. The food options seemed endless and the menu was quite large and included breakfast to dinner items all day when they are open! I also noted milkshakes and rootbeer floats and the like - plus a display of cakes and pies for sale! I settled on breakfast with banana, strawberry Nutella crepes and scrambled eggs with bacon. The wife did the same. The food was excellent served like an old fashioned diner style setting and I started my breakfast with an appetizer slice of pecan pie. The kids each got a milkshake with hamburger for one and Mac n' cheese for the other. The server was friendly and helpful and her name was Rachel. She did a great job and we enjoyed dining with her as our server!

Kept our coffee full. My partner had the Philly steak skillet and it was definitely a lot of food. He brought half of it home but he loved it. I had the cinnamon roll French toast and I'm telling you absolutely amazing 10 out of 10 I could've done without the eggs and sausage side. The only negative that we might've had was the bathrooms were just a one stall so if there were somebody in there you had to wait. FYI on the way out the door we seen the display of desserts and had to get a pecan cinnamon roll to go
