We were traveling through on our way to Branson and stopped at Lilly's Sunday afternoon. It was crowded but got a table for six within minutes which was nice. The menu was vast with multiple options and the food was very tasty. I was too full to try the pies, cobblers or cakes but if I'm back in Tulsa I will definitely give it a try. Useful tips: Parking wasn't bad at all as it's located in a strip mall area and getting in and out was easy. I will say if you like floppier bacon make sure to tell your server as it was crispy (still good). The bathrooms were small but that was not unexpected because it's a small diner. Only one person can go in at a time. Final: I can see why Lilly's has great reviews it's a very good diner experience, good portions and good service. I will be back. read more

This spot was busy at lunch on a Friday, adjusting to a satisfied clientele. It has the expected diner menu of Midwestern comfort foods, including all day breakfast. We two were satisfied with our breakfast plate and lunch sandwich with excellently seasoned fries. I love this place but I would like to see a few changes. The food is good and plentiful! The service sometimes is lacking. Sometimes when they drop your food can be the last time you see your waitress. They never seem to come by and ask you "how is your meal?" Avoid the fish at all costs! I ordered catfish + filet. Turns out the filet is not a steak. It's an additional $7 for an extra fish filet. My fish was undercooked and I sent it back. They remade it, overcooked and unedible. I paid and left it for them to dispose of it. I told the cashier it was horrible, but wasn't offered any kind of discount. $25 and didn't eat anything but a salad and mashed potatoes made from yesterday's baked potatoes. We have received wonderful service both times we stopped in to eat. The food was fresh and portions were huge! The prices are also top notch. The first time I had the buffalo chicken wrap, which was Amazing and the second time I had the chicken fried chicken and fried pickles. I recommend it all! Great homemade and good tasting food.. serves dinner and breakfast anytime they are open. Very good seasoned staff. Best patty melt I have ever eaten, wonderful hand, battered fish with fresh baked potato, we also had battered mushrooms that were excellent. This is basically like what I would say old-school diner, very busy, however service is spot on and food is piping hot and fresh when you get it. This used to be my favorite breakfast place but lately the food hasn't been as good. My last steak skillet was a big plate of inedible gristle. My last two omelets barely had enough egg to cover the filling and weren't very good. Don't know what has changed. read more

This is a very popular local spot and stays packed. We got there at 3, so they weren't as busy. I ordered beans and cornbread with home-fries. The cornbread was probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant, and the home-fries had a wonderful seasoning. I wasn't able to finish all my food but I gave it a try! Definitely would return. While we were there they were constantly cleaning up after customers so the place is very clean. read more

It's so hard to find just a simple sausage gravy and biscuits meal in New York! So every time I visit my folks in Oklahoma I am eager to find a place that delivers the goods! We drive through Tulsa every few years or so. We found this place 2 years ago and had the best breakfast ever. Today, 6/13/25, was no exception. Crispy tender home fries, buttery silky soft biscuits, absolutely outstanding country gravy. The staff is great. Today we had a very polite courteous young lady, but we saw the sassy one at a different table with what seemed like regulars. Shout out to the kitchen staff for consistency over time. If you want a family style diner that offers a colossus pile of calories with your meal you have found your dinner table away from your home dinner table. I mean seriously, who frequents a diner to have a "healthy" meal? I don't! I go in for "healthy" gargantuan portions. I've yet to have a breakfast or lunch here that didn't offer just that. Honestly I usually feel guilty and or bloated (in no particular) order every time I pop in and leave a happy plate. The service here is usually pretty spot on even during the busy breakfast rushes. I like good service and I enjoy consistency in the quality. The food is pretty yummy too which is handy again because you get a lot! The prices are reasonable too which helps. I don't mind especially considering yet again, how much you get on your plate(s) when the orders come out. When I paid my tab this morning I sarcastically said to the nice lady at the register that my hash browns oddly tasted like potatoes when she asked how my meal was. She exclaimed it's because we use real potatoes!! I like that she knew I was only fooling about and of course I appreciate them using real potatoes in the hash browns!! read more

We checked out this diner that was close to our hotel. They have a full menu all day. You walk in and seat yourself. Huge portions at affordable prices. Service is fast. We want to try more on the menu so will definitely be back. The only reason I gave a 4 star was our waiter seemed to be unhappy and miserable to even be there, but he did take care of us. This place was obviously a local favorite as most of the tables and booths would get cleaned and new people sat down. A huge shout out to the bus boy who kept up with it, he cleaned everything including seats and there was always someone walking around with a broom. This is an American classic! Yes it's in a small strip mall so there's not the traditional "diner" look. But the food is over the top. What really made our meal memorable was the service. Every member of the wait staff came by topping off our coffee or checking on us, but the star of the experience was our waitress, Misty. Oh my goodness if you visit here you've GOT to ask for her!
