Added a star for cleanliness and a star for prompt service and a star for a decent menu. I ordered huevos rancheros. It was literally two plain fried eggs each on top of one fried tortilla and a side order of soupy refried beans. I needed a spoon for the beans. I was also brought 1 oz green sauce and 1 oz of red sauce. The price was $9.25. Not much flavor. Has to use quite a bit of salt and pepper. Seemed overpriced for what it was. read more

This is a small local diner and it fits all the classic stereotypes. Advertisements on the tables, local news clippings on the wall and friendly service but a tad understaffed. I have been in for breakfast twice now and both times I found the food to be quite delicious and in large quantities. I prefer omlettes for breakfast and that's all I've had here with biscuits and gravy. The gravy is full of sausage chunks which I'm 100% good with. If you're looking for local, different and affordable this is the place. I beleive they specialize in Mexican food, they've got a good selection on the menu but at the time of this review I've not tried it. read more

I'm all for supporting independently owned businesses but this place? I have to say not. The building itself is not much to look at but you can't judge a book by it's cover. I walked in and immediately thought, "I should go elsewhere". Unfortunately, I talked myself into staying. Ordered a beef omelete and Chicken Fried Steak and eggs to go. Both orders came w/ hash browns and 1 biscuit w/ gravy. The Chicken Fried Steak was a frozen, pre-made patty. First time I've ever been served that in a Cafe. The bottom of the biscuit was hard as a rock. As for the omelete and hashbrowns, the flavor was thete but they were SWIMMING in oil. If the interior wasn't so run down and dirty, I would give this place another try. read more

Food was ok Ambiance doesn't really appeal to me, but it's a cheap little place. Standard inexpensive diner with breakfast and lunch. The interior is low budget, and the bathroom door tried to take me out when it was closing. They should fix that thing!... I wouldn't recommend the Mexican omelette or the hash browns, but the pancakes are really good! Don't bother with their spread, they have real butter in the back. The other 2 guys that were with me said their burger and club sandwich was pretty good. The hash browns were extra crispy on the outside and soggy in the middle, ehhh... The fries were ok but had little to no salt on them. Things seemed bland to me, but some salt and hot salsa helped out a lot. The place was dead at 12:20pm, which seems like a bad sign to me, but the service was very good, and our nice waitress was very accommodating. read more

Great Price. Homemade food great find. Pancake bfast is big so come hungry. Burgers are 100% beef and chili dog are out of world.

I am all for a comfy cozy ambiance but this place has a "run down" ambiance. If I'm going out to eat, I expect the food to be better or equal with my own cooking. Our family came here for the first time and we were very hungry. We tried to overlook the dirty tables and torn seats in the booths. We like giving our business to local joints. We asked each other if we wanted to leave and we decided to stay in hopes that the food would fair better than the appearance of the place. We should've left. The food was nasty. It tasted old. You could tell it wasn't fresh. Our children wouldn't even eat the fries that came with their meal. How do you mess up frozen fries? We left upset and disgusted. We are never going back. read more

The food was absolutely terrible! Ordered via DoorDash. Asked for crispy hash browns. Scrabbled eggs were the crispiest part of the meal/overlooked. Bacon wasn't crisp at all/undercooked, hash browns super undercooked. Roommate wasn't given any gravy with his biscuits and gravy. His hash browns were also undercooked. The "mini" pancakes were actually the hugest pancakes I've ever seen. They were also gross, tasted like flour mixed with water, and the texture was closer to cake batter then fluffy cake. No silverware provided. When I called the restaurant, they offered to remake our breakfast the next morning. When I went in, they told me the person who offered to correct the situation didn't have approval from a manager and they could only give me 50% off. I was already told they'd remake the breakfast. Drove across town just to be told they wanted me to pay another 50% to buy food they might mess up again. No thanks, I already paid for a meal I couldn't eat, and was giving you guys the opportunity to keep a customer. Sad this is the way some people conduct business. I guess if you're from California like the previous reviewer nothing is going to impress you so I don't put a lot of stock in their review. We could care less what the ambience is like as long as the food is good, and it is. read more
