Another boring review. Big, small-town diner. This place can handle a crowd. The parking lot is sized appropriately for the traffic. Delicious breakfast cooked exactly as ordered. Excellent crispy bacon, extra crispy buttery hashbrowns, 2 sunny side and one home made biscuit with average diner cream gravy. My wife had the 2 thick fluffy pancakes, a couple over easy and that crispy bacon. The pictures tell the story. Comfortable dining, cafe environment. Great friendly service. Visited 7/20/25. The food was terrible, prices ridiculously high, service was good. Waitresses stacking chairs up on tables while we were eating, giving us the impression that they were closing. I will NOT go back. Food quality was a nightmare. My Sister said she burped up what tasted like "old pork grease" which was on the green beans. We ordered "loaded" baked potatoes which had a sparse bit of FAKE bacon bits, a tiny bit of dried chives & a tiny bit of cheese. RIDICULOUS!!! And they charge extra for that? The bill plus tip was almost $50.00 for 2 people (I had water to drink). This was my Birthday Dinner. Next time I will definitely be going to Thomas' Restaurant in Pryor. Sorry "Old Street" you definitely dropped the ball on this one. read more

Found this diner while looking for something other than the two Amish places. The service was quite quick. I got two eggs, over easy with bacon, home fries and biscuit with gravy. The food came out fast and was great. The server checked on me regularly and was kind. Marking this down for my next trip to Chouteau. read more

Had breakfast the other morning on the way to Tulsa . The restaurant is clean and the girls do their jobs well! To me it's safe comfort food that hasent failed yet. So if any one has any question about it, it's consistent soul food and I recommend it! Just good everyday food! read more

We've stopped here a few times over the years, not sure why I've not reviewed them- anyway. This is a very cute restaurant just off the highway, gravel parking but plenty of room to park. When you first go in, be ready, this is a small town and a local favorite. You WILL be stared at, a lot. I like to walk in, let them all look me over, then find a place to sit (it's a seat yourself place). Over the years we've tried many of their items and have yet to be disappointed. Their meatloaf is amazing!!! I recently tried the hot hamburger and instead of fries I had country potatoes. I think that's what they called them, I call them fried potatoes. I really liked the smaller potatoes on it, made it easier to eat. My husband orders eggs often and has not had a issue with them being burned or dried. Definitely a great place to stop for a home cooked meal that won't upset your stomach- very important if you're traveling through, or break the bank! read more

This diner is off the freeway and just far enough over that I bet this place is mostly visited by locals, but close enough so that it is easily accessible but frequently overlooked by travelers. Locals may not want this gem known and outsiders cramming up their favorite restaurant but what can I do but apologize to them as I out this place as having exceptional food and service. It isn't anything fancy on the inside, but it's clean and the food is just awesome! Skip the fast food and swing by here, you won't be disappointed! The menu is pretty extensive, and watch for their daily specials. The pork cutlet was awesome. read more

Great breakfast! And my friend had the pork chops and said they were delicious too! There were only three pieces of pie left, but it was almost 3 (closing time) on Sunday afternoon. We will go back just for pie and coffee later this week. They are open on Thursday and Friday evenings. read more

If you have watched Parks and Recreation and have been in search of a Leslie Knope / JJ's Diner style waffles, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!! It's amazing and cheap and delicious! I have came two days in a row now. Day 1 - Belgian Waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, super good. Day 2 - Belgian again but with Blueberries and whipped cream. Day 1, I scarfed that delicious goodness down before thinking to take a picture but I managed to take a photo for you today. Pros - clean, server was very friendly Cons - food was mediocre I had breakfast and it was pretty good...until I came to the breakfast meat. It wasn't done in the center and it kinda ruined the meal for me. I should have sent it back, but didn't want to take the time to do it. My husband, daughter, and myself stopped in to grab some breakfast on an average Sunday morning. At the time there were 28 people in the restaurant (I counted to pass time) and of those people 90% had already been taken care of and were eating.. we waited for 30 minutes before one of the 6 waitresses came to even ask what we wanted to drink and give us a menu. One waitress was carrying around a pot of coffee refilling drinks. One waitress was just standing in the back looking at the plates of food be put up to be bussed. One waitress stood and talked to a table the whole time. One waitress couldn't clean a table to save her life. And one waitress stood on her phone beside the coffee machine. While we waited - two other tables of people that came in after us were waited on, had drinks and ordered before we even got menus. These people I might add were seated at the booths right beside us. Finally when we got waited on the waitress we got had a terrible "don't wanna be here" attitude and checked on us once the entire time. Not re-filling drinks till our plates were basically empty. 3 tables remained un-cleaned till we left. After being told to sit wherever, I even watched a couple ladies clean a table off so they could sit down because there wasn't a clean spot to sit. The review gets 2 stars solely for the food - it was pleasantly good - but the atmosphere, waitresses and overall experience was shit and I don't personally recommend eating here unless you've got time and patience or are a local. read more

We stopped here after our annual float trip and everything about this place was wonderful. Our service was wonderful, Sherri (I'm sure I'm spelling her name wrong) was absolutely wonderful, she was so nice and very diligent! There were 8 of us that stopped and ALL of us were impressed, and ALL of food was delicious. We will for sure be back again. Thanks for a great start to our day!
