We arrived yesterday around 6pm for a party of two. We sat down. The waitress stopped by for our drink order. I asked for a few minutes. That was the last time we saw her for over 25 min. In fact I stood up and didn't see any wait staff. We decided to leave. As we were about to walk out the front door, she showed up and popped off with sarcasm. Fantastic! Came in on a Sunday for business and found this little gem. It's a sports bar, but the food was great. Granted, I was flying solo and sat at the bar alone, but I made friends. The bartender, Ms. Loonie, was really friendly and attentive; she recommended the ribeye sandwich, and it did not disappoint. It says a 6oz steak, it was much bigger. JS. Service was relatively quick because there weren't a lot of tables. I wish they had a beer list because when I asked about draft beers, the poor server was reading off the standard taps she could read. Today we had brunch at Hookers, it was amazing! My husband ordered Hookers Hash with a side of fruit. You can choose how you want your eggs cooked, he chose over easy. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the fruit was very fresh. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles with a side of Southern Potatoes. The potatoes are also hash- I loved these potatoes! They were seasoned and fried to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy. The Belgium Waffles were so delicious, classic Belgium style . We've stopped by here a couple times now. The staff is always so polite and cheery. The place is clean, lots of TVs to watch the games on, and they have a nice bar area. read more

Well where to start. First of all it took 15-20 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order. Then another 10 to come back for our food order (that was when we got our drinks). My husband ordered sweet tea and it wasn't fit to drink so he had her bring him a soft drink. We get our food and I had ordered a club sandwich and the thing didn't have any vegetables on it. It was only ham, turkey and bacon on dry toast. So I was going to ask the waitress to fix it and she disappeared. So I sat there eating a few of my fries with a now empty drink glass. I finally walked up to the bar and asked the girl back there if she would get me another drink and she said well it is last call and it told her to get me another drink because I had been sitting over here with nothing to drink for 15 minutes cause our waitress disappeared. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also had a live band in there and it was so loud that me and me husband had to yell to be able to hear each other.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Oh and this was a Thursday night at 9:00. Second time here while passing through the area and I was excited for my lunch. My first visit I had the rib-eye which was amazing and the portions are filling. This time around thought I would try the steak salad. I asked for avocado with a side of ranch. It was delicious! Seated promptly by a sweet waitress so I guess customer service was good. My bf had to a steak with salad and fries as his sides; but he never took a bite of the salad and asked me not to either as some of the lettuce was black and slimy. He did eat a few of his French fries as they were already room temperature when the plate was brought to him. I had chicken Fried chicken with okra and Mac and cheese my sides were ok but the chicken was dry and tough I got tired of trying to cut into it so most of it stayed on the plate as I only ate some of the crust with gravy. Girlfriend and I had dinner here a few nights ago. She had the 12 oz. Steak and I had the garlic lime shrimp. We split our meals and it worked out great. Steak was done to perfection and had great flavor. Shrimp was cooked correctly as well. Prices were reasonable and this place had plenty of wait staff on duty. We will be back for sure. read more

It's your typical sports bar. Great atmosphere, lots of TVs. Our drinks were good and were decently priced compared to places like Applebee's and chili's. Food was alright, we got the bacon cheese fries as an appetizer which was amazing, but the bacon cheeseburger I got was not so great. Ended up only eating a portion and just chowing down on the fries. Bartender was nice, asked her about the town and she didn't seem to interested in us. She was quick in her service but you could tell it wasn't what she wanted to be doing. All in all I'd go back. It's an awesome place to watch a game and drink beer. read more

A little too salty for my personal taste. Their service was good. I think this place would be great to grab an appetizer and/or a drink to catch up with friends. Good amount of TVs for sports but we had to ask for sound, I mean there literally wasn't even music on. It's a bar folks. I would recommend the pickles. They are spicy and cut thick. They were a great choice for an appetizer. The atmosphere is friendly and there was great country/southern rock bands playing while there. There are nice large televisions everywhere making it easy to view your favorite team. The quesadillas were not that great and the ice cold salsa provided made it like eating them straight from the icebox. The catfish dinner was a healthy portion of food. It was good, but there were parts of it that were raw and still cool. If you want to add some zing to your day; add a spicy bloody mary to your meal. It will wake your body up stat! The server was nice, but the service was hit and miss. When a server asks if you need something and never brings it, but brings the check.... There's your sign. The check was brought prior to be done with our dining experience. I am still trying to figure out why there is a door to "something" in the men's restroom stall. It looks like somebody could walk right out and be in the stall with you while you handle business. read more

They were friendly enough, and that may be the problem, they spent more time chatting with there local friends than actually serving. The waitstaff was friendly but 20 minutes between appetizers and main dish was too long. The waitress said it was because of the catfish??? Her presence was very spotty when we needed something. I felt like a toddler at the 'big people's table.' The waitress spent more time texting and yuking it up with the regulars. Me and and friend were passing through, and decided to check it out for Lunch. I had the Mozzaluna Burger, which is a double patty bacon cheeseburger with a mozzarella wedge in between the patties. The burger was juicy, cheesy, and the bun was buttery but not soggy. One of the best burgers i've had in a long time!
