The food was amazing as always, same price as McDonald's. The service and staff make dining there a pleasure.

Menu shrinks and so does food quality . (Before they remodel this casino had a pretty good restaurant.)

They had an additional list on top of what is on the menu. I chose a flavor I've never had in pie form. The German chocolate pie and it was very tasty. I loved the pecans and coconut. What I loved the most was the flaky crust--so good! The salad is pretty standard, but it was fresh and crisp. The ranch dressing is fabulous, homemade, and made the salad delicious. The lunch portion of chicken fried chicken I received was on the large side. It was seasoned very well, and I loved the seasonings. The meat was so tender and juicy! I know I got my food just a few minutes after the it was fried. It couldn't have been more fresh. The star of my meal was the mashed red potatoes and gravy. They actually cook and mash real potatoes. It is so hard to find this when dining out. They used the perfect amount of salt. It's been a long time since I have not added salt to my meal but I didn't need to here. Oh, the little bun was homemade too and so yummy. I loved everything I ate! Can't wait to go back.

They both really enjoyed them. My daughter and I had burgers. They were so good and cooked to perfection. Also, I love it when I can put a fried egg on my burger. My other daughter really enjoyed her fried chicken strips. The young woman who served us was so kind and friendly. If you are in Claremore and want a nice sit down restaurant this would be an excellent choice.

They also have a really good grilled chicken salad, and it's huge!. You can get it with fried chicken, but I love the grilled chicken. It and the onion rings with ranch are my go to order. My husband orders different things and so far, he's always enjoyed his food. Not gonna lie, I and my granddaughter weren't impressed with the breakfast, but one of the reasons is because they don't serve hashbrowns, and if I'm going out for breakfast, I'm going to order crispy hashbrowns. Their reasoning is that everybody does hashbrowns. (Yeah, because everybody likes hashbrowns, lol!) The omelette I ordered was pretty unimpressive as well. My granddaughter ordered something different and I don't remember what it was, but I remember that neither one of us cared for that either. I know it had biscuits involved. The servers are all really friendly and the restaurant is clean. (I haven't used the restroom so I can't vouch for that.) I've never seen it super busy or people waiting to get seated. I do always see people there though, and there's always a few other families or couples in while we are there. In any case, we will continue to support, Buddy's Diner, and hope others will as well, because we'd hate to see that little gem go away. There's quite a few places to eat in Claremore, but not very many that are more than mediocre, at best.

You come, fill your plate and pay about 18 per adult... if you leave hungry it's on you. There is no menu. You just choose from selections that do not change much and all of it is included. The bbq pork is simple but good requiring no additional sauce. The fried chicken is tasty and simply made. There are chicken noodles that are as good as you have ever had. The mashed potatoes are buttery soft. The desert bar presents a Sophie's choice of deserts but you can take as many as you can eat. Leave the calorie counter at home it is not meant for this place. The ambience understated and plain as is fitting for the Amish. The staff is friendly. There are no waiters. You serve yourself. Good, simple and delicious food is on offer here, nothing else. Definitely worth the trip.

Decor is a bit dated...but it matches the name.... I have yet to taste decor, so it doesnt bother me at all. Small boutique when you come in...lots of fun gifts, clothing, jewelry... We stopped in after a weekend of camping...the Sunday after church crowd was finishing up, and we came in...tired, dirty, smelling like campfire...and we were welcomed like we were family...maybe the stinky side, but family none-the-less.. Definitely worth the visit if you are looking for a buffet of American comfort foods.
