A strange Irish Pub. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the Harp beer was cold and tasty. The Irish Pub food offerings include Asian menu items, Mexican items and 'Irish' entrees, Claremore, Oklahoma style. I ordered the Shepherds Pie and was disappointed that It consisted mostly of bread. I ordered a side of steamed vegetables, then added many of them to my Shepherds Pie (see picture). That helped, but not enough. If I were asked how this business could avoid closing, I'd say A) Either make it an Irish Pub or change the name of the restaurant, and B) avoid saving money but reducing the more expensive ingredients (e.g. meat) and increasing inexpensive items like bread and rice (in my wife's entree). I noticed that there were few customers during dinner time, and I now know why. read more

The corned beef is also highly industrial processed, poor quality, chopped, and the only flavor is salt. The fries were stale and not battered as indicated on the menu. Pickle was good though. It had been a LONG time since we visited J Farley's, like honestly maybe October 2019. It's a fun little spot and the food is pretty consistent. Service is always great and they have a nice variety of local brews on tap. We stopped in Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. The Irish Tacos are a must to order. Really interesting in a great way. This time, I felt indulgent and ordered the hot hamburger. Please note that this behemoth of a dish comes with two patties and two large scoops of mashed potatoes. (You can also sub in beer battered fries if you like.) It's all covered with that fabulous Guinness gravy. (I've said it before, just give me a straw for that gravy...it's that good.) It was a LOT of food. The only downfall for me (beside the huge quantity) was the amount of raw onions sprinkled in the dish. I thing sauted onions would be better. There's always a group of women (not sure if they work there or not) at or near the bar gossiping and loudly talking about the customers. Came here for bingo but got a very full belly too! We came in on a Tuesday night to try and win big with bingo, seriously it was so fun!! Sweet tea was great and you got to keep your cup! I ordered the bacon avocado grilled cheese with sidewinders and all was so so good. The sandwich was perfect, great flavor balance. The sidewinders were crisp and a solid hybrid between a curly fry and wedge. They were short staffed so that was a little challenging. But the heart and story behind this place is really special! We've been here a few times, first time at their new location. It's very open and clean. There's a small stage for live bands and a nice sized bar. We started out with the cheese curds, regular not jalapeño, they were very tasty. I had the tomato and cheese, the soup had a little spiciness to it but wasn't too much. The grilled cheese has cheese on the outside and inside. It was perfect for the Fall day. I would suggest eating it quickly, we all know what happens with cold cheese. My husband had the BLT with sweet potato fries, he said the sauce on the BLT has habanero sauce in it. It cleared his sinus but he really liked the amount of heat. We went for a late lunch, just after 1, so it wasn't very busy. I've noticed it stays packed during prime dining times. read more

This was my first visit at their new location, which I love! Plenty of parking, beautiful building, and twice the atmosphere as the previous location. As usual, the food was excellent! Our server was very sweet and attentive, and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food. We each ordered Caesar salads, and I have to say it was one of the greatest I've ever had! The greens were obviously fresh, the chicken was nice and smokey, and it wasn't swimming in dressing which seems to be the norm everywhere else. My husband got a burger which was equally delicious and cooked to perfection! We love that this is a place Claremore can claim all it's own! If you come for a visit, definitely stop by. read more

This is such a great local place I wish I could give it a higher score, but it just doesn't deserve it. The local decor devoted to the firemen is great and the place was clean, so it has that going for it. The first time we visited I had the fish and chips, they were OK. Not bad but also nothing to yelp home about. This time I had the Cookstown Chicken and Cabbage. It had good flavor and I liked it, but it wasn't very hot and it wasn't plated well. Basically everything in the ingredient list is all the same color but it had pieces hanging off the edges of the plate and it needed some garnish; chives, fresh parsley, something to give it some plate appeal. They came with green beans which were also tasty but they too were cold. My wife had the chili and a Parmesan crusted pepperjack grilled cheese. She said the chili tasted like it had come out of a can and the grilled cheese was disappointing as well. Finally they service. Our waitress was a nice young lady but I had to ask for tea refills. To her credit, she figured out I must have been dehydrated and kept my glass full after my second refill request. The restaurant wasn't very busy and it seemed like it took longer than it should have to get our order placed and the wait for it to be served at our table. Normally a 2 star review would not warrant another visit but it is Claremore and real choices are limited so we will most likely visit them again on one of our trips back. read more

Farley's had been on my hit list for a few weeks, when we found ourselves in Claremore around lunch time. Okay, to be honest, I kinda staged it so we'd be there around lunchtime. Point being, we were there, and Farley's was open. The Wife, The Kid and myself entered and were seated immediately, even though we were at the top side of the lunch hour. Our server was wonderful, funny and friendly. Since we'd never been there, we took a little longer than probably usual to review the menu, but we eventually made our choices. We did ask our server what she recommended, and that swayed The Wife to change her mind, but I, ever stalwart (read: stubborn), stayed true to my decision. The Kid, being The Kid, just wanted the kid's Macaroni and Cheese. This is just Kraft Mac n Cheese. Nothing special. And it's $4.95. So let me detour here for one minute, and this is one of two things that kept this from being a 5 star review. I've long aired my gripes about kid's menus basically being afterthoughts, and it's a constant pain in my ass that restaurants don't feel kids deserve just a little common courtesy. I get that a lot of kid's meals are targeted at an audience that still picks their noses, so their palettes aren't exactly refined, but that's NO excuse to go short on them. In THIS particular case, on of the hyped items on the menu was their beef cheese sauce/dip. If you're already that far in the kitchen, it's no big step to make a better mac n cheese than Kraft. I'd do it if I owned a restaurant.... and I expect the same. Okay, rant concluded. We went with the pork skin appetizer, which turned out to be just short of awesome. In fact, we ordered a second round while waiting for our entrees. Hot, fresh, and still popping from the fry, these things could become culinary crack. On to our meal.... The Wife opted for Fish and Chips, which came with a side of slaw while I went with the Cookstown Chicken And Cabbage, based on the pictures I'd seen on Yelp! The fish and chips were solid. Really good. Three good sized pieces of fish with a crisp coating without any greasy taste. Nicely seasoned fries and a really crisp, tart coleslaw. This particular bowl of slaw also had a couple of huge pieces of cabbage... indicating that someone wasn't paying a whole lot of attention during the making or serving. Just a note to the staff.... it's all about the little things. I fully expect I'll make the drive from Owasso to Claremore on lunch just for fish and chips. The chicken and cabbage dish was pretty good. Not great, but good. To be fair, there's only so much you can do flavor-wise with cabbage and mashed potatoes. The chicken was a little short on flavor as well, and would have really benefited from an overnight brine. Also, the dish could have used a little in the onion department... personally, I'd go with some finely chopped leeks sauteed in a little butter. I think that would make a nice addition to the dish. As it was, it was good. I'm certainly not complaining, but it wasn't really something I think I would order again, unless maybe on a really cold day when some comfort food was in order. I almost got the bangers and mash, and I'm kinda kicking myself for not doing so. But then I also wanted to try the Shepherd's Pie, so I see return trips in the future. Overall, I was definitely happy with our meal, small nitpicks aside. The joint itself is warm and inviting, with plenty of Irish kitsch all around, without overdoing it, and the requisite Irish music playing at a perfect volume level... there, but not really intrusive. For a little out of the way spot in Claremore, Farley's delivered a solid meal, to their credit. read more

Atmosphere is loud, sleazy, sports bar style without the multiple big screen TV's on sports stations. The wait staff are very overwhelmed comparing numbers of customers to ratio of staff. The wait staff, many are dressed sleazy and no employees were professionally dressed. The food is simply nasty. I ordered the corned beef with cabbage which was to include potatoes and carrots with a mustard sauce. The waitress was very overwhelmed with too many customers to provide adequate services. She brought a tea refill and managed to spill it all over my items and the seat beside me while pouring it into my cup. I requested extra napkins twice and never received any. I ask for a cup of ice water to take medication and was given a cup of ice without water. Too many activities are taken care of by the wait staff taking away from the time they have available for customer service. The entrée was the total worst I have ever been served in any restaurant in years. The food departing the kitchen is shocking. My entrée of corned beef and cabbage would have been described better had the menu stated a huge quantity of ice cold partially frozen potato cubes, with a dash of corned beef, a smell of cabbage and a sprinkle of carrots. Many patrons were enjoying the alcohol drinks and the customer atmosphere seems to be one of which customer can shout the loudest wins. The years I spent in Europe and visited many Pubs none of them did I hear loud voices permeating the atmosphere as such was experienced in this restaurant. This was my first visit to this restaurant and will be my last. There are a lot of quality restaurants in Claremore, Oklahoma to select from but this isn't one of them. read more

Found this place on yelp, while on a short road trip. It's "Americanized" Irish pub but my gracious, the food is EXCELLENT! Spouse had Irish tacos with superb corned beef!!! Waitress brought a sample of the corned beef and it was melt in your mouth! I hade the Rumney (breakfast burger) and added some corned beef to it. It was amazing! I have not been back for 18 months, so I thought I would try them again. Next time it will be 2 years before I go back. It took 45 minutes to get our food. There were only 6 people in the place and 1 was at the bar drinking. Why did it take 45 minutes to get our food? The burger was burnt and the fish and chips were raw. Both were cold. Our food got to the table before our beer did. And the beer was warm. I do not know who is running the place, but they don't know what they are doing. Food was bad, drinks were bad, service was bad. We could not finish our meal. The manager asked what was wrong, we told him, but they offered nothing but, "we're, sorry". No wonder they are only 3.5 stars, I will not go back until the summer 2027, if they are still in business then. read more

They have a decent selection of beers at this establishment. The quality of your meal is real hit or miss. I'd say this place is "Claremore Good". Terrible service, stood around for 45 minutes without a hostess even putting us on the wait list

Came in for dinner tonight. Seated promptly about 10min went by waitress came over and took our drink and dinner order at the same time. It didn't seem busy but we waited an hour and no food. Asked for our check and waitress just kept walking by us. Asked another waitress she said she'd be right back. 10min goes by and our waitress shows up with food and to go boxes. My wife and I were not impressed paid for drinks and left. I don't recommend. read more
