I love the chicken carbonara but this time it didn't taste quite right and the chicken was overly dry so it was a bit disappointing. My husband enjoys the pork tenderloin and he said it was hot until the last bite. Our server was great today even though it was very busy. Stopped by here for a quick breakfast. We sat at the bar as usual. I had the Southwest Chicken and Waffle this time and I was so glad I did! It is so far my favorite item in their breakfast menu! The cornbread waffle is surprisingly light and the little kick from the jalapeño pairs well with the fried chicken tenders. Located inside the Hard Rock Casino in Tulsa. This is clearly themed as a retro style diner, with all the decor, complete with the servers' outfits. The hostess did not say hello, good morning, or anything. Just got up from her seat, grabbed a couple menus, and started walking. She didn't even say "follow me please" or anything. Just weird. She just said "you wanna sit at the bar?" and that's it. we requested a booth and we sat there. Our server, comparatively, was perfectly fine. Food was ok. I like diner food, but I was expecting more. My omelette was tasty, but kinda thin and not fluffy, and skimpy on the fillings. The side of breakfast potatoes was simply chopped up french fries. The biscuits and gravy were also tasty, biscuit was soft, but gravy was too cold. Coffee was served in styrofoam cups but our server did apologize that they were out of regular cups. This restraunt is inside the HardRock Casino. This is your tipical classic diner. The food is good with some unusal menu items. The oklahoma onion burger is amazing and goes well with the motley fries. If your new to this the motley fries are a hodge podge of potato fries (curley, crinkle cut, seasoned, sweet potato fries) which makes for an awesome flavor and most interesting plate. There is also a 2 pound hamburger challenge for the competitive foodie. The fried pickle spears appetizer is some of the best ive had anywhere in the US. I also tried the mile high carrot cake which was a bust. The cake comes out as a massive dinner platter sized piece, but was bland and dried out tasting. If you still have room left for desert after the burger challenge or have a large group of people try the kitchen sink desert for a change. I am SO disappointed with this place! After all the glitz and glamour, I got ZERO of the home-cooked diner food I was looking for! Maybe I'm too picky because I work in a kitchen that coos s lot of scratch good, but my chicken plate was far from it. The biscuits were NOT scratch ( baked from frozen), the potatoes were instant with a few bits of a real potato skins thrown in ( because we do that too and "Joe average" doesn't notice the difference), the Cole slaw came from the box ( it has that "flavor") and the worst was the boxed chicken. It wasn't fried there, it came from a box and was likely warmed up and served. I was thoroughly pissed off about an entire plate being from a box. I'm not going to count the okra, because 90% of the time, it's from a bag, so I was expecting that and not disappointed there. The fries on my husband"s plate were cold. Also, he didn't order fries, he ordered fruit salad. When the waitress came by to see if we needed anything, I told her fruit salad. She brought some mixed fruit that looked like it had sat out all day, placed it on the table and walked away. I put honey on my chicken and margarine in my cold potatoes to eat them. Totally disappointed with our dinner. We tipped the waitress. It's not her fault the food was sub par. read more

This diner was under staffed and a horrible experience to say the least. We were seated and never greeted by a server. Then after 10 to 15 minutes and no one appeared, the hostess then came and asked our drink order offered to take our food order. No manager present and still no servers visible. After waiting 30 minutes for 2 breakfast meals we flagged someone down and asked about our food. We were told by a server passing it would be 10 more minutes! After 49 minutes we were forced to leave due to time restraint. Poor service and no servers to help you. That's is unacceptable. Worst service in 17 years of visiting this diner! I will not be going there again. I would not recommend going there! read more

The decor is really nice. This place is in the Hard Rock Casino open 24 hours. Went by one night they had a special on chicken and dumplings and it was not what I thought. This was a big bowl of soup. I'm use to thicker noodles, chunkier chicken and better tasting. They have their way but I'm afraid to try something else if they changed this up. Ordered the waffle and two eggs $9, comes with bacon or sausage. It was s full meal. Waffle was really good, swathed in butter and swamped in maple syrup. This place has a very cool 50's diner atmosphere. The service was great, and very friendly. If the food was anything like the atmosphere and service i would have easily given it 5 stars. I had a burger and fries. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. They use very cheap food. Nothing is made from scratch. The burger was ok, and the fries were ok, not great. The prices are fair. If you want great food this place ain't it, but I would come back because the service and atmosphere is impeccable. This place could be incredible if they just took more pride in the food. read more

Ugh my husband and I went in after a comedy show and I had chicken fried steak and he had the fried shrimp. The chicken fried steak was a frozen patty that was drenched in gravy. The mashed potatoes looked so gross just slapped on the plate with some corn. The shrimp was the same as Captain D's and not worth the price. We're now heading to get McDonald's bc the food was so gross. Our server never even came by to check on us and we never got a refill. It was definitely not worth the $40. We definitely won't be back. If I feel the need for some frozen chicken fried steak I'll go to KFC, their chicken fried steak is even better than this places. read more

I so would give this diner 5 stars if the person at the front was nice. She took us to the booth when we requested a table. We told her table please & she said u down, and slammed the menus down on the table. The waitress however was awesome. She was very friendly & you could tell she loved her job. Even when she wasn't directly dealing with us, she was lip syncing to the songs that were playing. She was a joy. We sat down & noticed the ceiling was covered in license plates from all over the country. There were also television monitors that played music videos from "back in the day" artists (Ray Charles, The Beatles, Elvis) it was a wonderful atmosphere. Now to the food. I ordered the Knife & Fork Reuben which is open faced. It was huge, but very tasty. I couldn't even eat it all. The fries weren't that great, but my sandwich was great! I have a lot of friends that would not have went in if the woman at the front treated them like that, but thankfully I was with family & they are super understanding. Our server never checked on us, never refilled drinks, and didn't even bring us our ticket. Everything was handled by another waitress that felt bad for us since our waitress sucked.
