A little change up on breakfast this morning. A couple of sausage patties, 2 sunny side, hold the hashbrowns, bring the hot cakes. Fresh hot coffee to wash it all down. Good service and food at this classic diner. The décor...functional. It looks like a diner and feels like a diner. It has been around for a while. The name Duffy's piqued my curiosity. Is it related to the old Duffy's restaurant's, aka City Diner? The question was posed to the waitress. It earned me a "stink eye" glare and a response of "not anymore!" That answered the question. We come here often for brunch after church and the food is always amazing! The serving sizes are huge and always plenty to take home for later. The owner is always so kind and comes and checks on the tables and greats everyone with a smile ! My wife and I went here for breakfast..... it's a solid 5 stars! Not sure about lunch or dinner, but I imagine it's good if not amazing....we will be back for breakfast again soon. Duffy's took us back 35 years sitting in our grandmas kitchens chowing down on some delicious home cooked grub. The service was excellent, never letting our cups empty, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The bacon was crispy, Smokey and not fatty. The toast was already buttered and everything tasted amazing. To top it all off they brought us an oh-so-delicious cinnamon roll. This thing was perfect! Based on this experience I cannot say enough good about Duffy's, I know they have been around a long time but this is the last standing location. Go there. It's great! McDonald's isn't the biggest because it serves the best burgers, but because it is consistent. Duffy's is like that. It's been around for decades and accordingly has some rough edges. But if you want to go to a neighborhood restaurant and eat at your own pace, be served by friendly down-to-earth staff, and have some surprisingly good food, this is the place for you. We went for lunch. My Reuben sandwich was diagonally cut, grilled on actual Rye bread - seeds imbedded, crisp texture and that Rye bread flavor only genuine Rye bread can deliver - not the swirled 'rye' that has little texture and no taste that most restaurants use - and it was delicious. In size it was a sandwich on just an average couple of slices of bread, just like you would make at home, and that's part of the attraction. The fries were thick, maybe 2x fried not sure, but good texture for the most part. What we really liked was the appetizer of fried green beans. The waitress verified with us they were hand breaded, not a frozen concoction delivered by truck, and they were delicious. We kept saying, 'Okay, I've had enough' and then kept going back for just one more dipped in the (standard) Ranch dressing or eaten as served - but they were so good! "Nobody can eat just one" applies here. Another in our group had chicken strips with a side of gravy, and those seemed hand breaded as well. The gravy seemed to be the commercially prepared variety rather than made fresh in the kitchen as it was too smooth and tasteless to be homemade, to my tastes buds anyway. Duffys is one of those places you keep tucked in the back of your mind in that file of 'go-to places if we're looking for...' to be pulled out at just the right time. The fact they serve breakfast all day adds to the possibilities...good place, I plan to return. read more

Server No clue. Ambience This classic 80's throwback diner is in dire need of staffing help. Food Average is the best I could say. They messed up the salads. Not entirely sure how. It was pretty simple. No tomatoes on one. Guess which one had tomatoes. We ended up with neither had tomatoes. Not without being told she'd bring some tomatoes, which never came. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of eating for the first time at Duffys sports Grill. What an amazing place! From the moment you walk in Your greeted with a smile and seated quickly. We were also treated to a special from the owner, since it was our first time. Even though it was a Sunday afternoon, we ordered breakfast, which was Very Delicious! The staff is extremely friendly and keeps the coffee coming and stays aware of your every need! Before Covid: Very friendly and efficient servers. Owner comes to your table to make sure you're all good. This is a great place for traditional American breakfast. Food is fresh and cooked to order. Presentation is what you would expect from a diner. The coffee is excellent if you get the regular stuff. I have not tried anything other than breakfast. I wanted to love this place but I just thought it was mediocre. My eggs were a bit cold and they didn't offer options of different kinds of toast...just regular white bread. I love a good sourdough with my eggs. The grits were really thick too like glue. The food tasted good though. The server was very nice and there was nobody in there so we got served fairly quickly. They do have good specials so I might go back and try lunch but for breakfast, there's a few better spots in BA for that. read more

The "homefries" taste freezer burnt. =( Not fresh at all. Service can be a little slow when they're slammed, which is understandable, but service can also be slow when they're not slammed. So if you're eating here make sure you have time to kill. The veggie omelet is good, tastes fresh. I like that they give you options for your sides (biscuit & gravy, toast, or fruit I believe) but beware of the toast if you don't like liquid butter - or ask for it dry. We ate here after church today. My cousin ordered the scrambled eggs with cheese and ham. I ordered the scrambled eggs with cheese and a side of bacon. Our breakfasts came with hash browns and biscuits. We enjoyed the scrambled eggs and my bacon was perfectly cooked. The hash browns could have been better seasoned; they were flat tasting. The service was very good and the prices were excellent. Next time, we will skip the hash browns. read more

People when are you going to learn that a microwave is not a kitchen appliance to be used with all your food. Decided to DoorDash from a different place today so decided to try Duffy's... I put in for a med rare steak. My steak was cooked and dry! No flavor either! The omelette were also flavor less. The waitress was very rude and belittling to both my sister and I. We feel that because we were Asian and the only people of color in this restaurant, that she felt the need to talk to us like we were stupid. At one point after taking our orders, she went to the back and said something to the chef, which made him glare back at us and give us death stares the entire time we were at our table and up until we left the door. We truly felt like we were not welcome there, although we were very nice and polite. I feel like we get this type of treatment every time we eat out at a family owned diner type of establishment. It really is a shame. Other than that, when we got there, and as soon as we sat down, she had already asked us what we wanted to order. We told her we still needed a minute to decide. Over 10 minutes went by and she still didn't come by to check on us, even when our menus were closed and we were evidently ready to order. The chicken nuggets I ordered for my daughter were frozen Tyson nuggets and were extremely hot, made myself burn the roof of my mouth when I took a bite. The country platter I ordered was generous in size, I give it a 6/10. My sisters burger was also decent. Her onion rings were mediocre, they just didn't have absolutely any taste to them. read more

I ordered a side of bacon and it arrived cold. The server was still bringing our food out so I told her about it. She apologized and went to fix it. She brings me the same bacon back 30 seconds later, I said "ah yes, microwaved bacon, thank you!". She asked if it was a problem and I said of course it is! She took the same bacon and had the cooks drop it in the deep fryer and then brought it back. Smiling, she made sure I knew she didn't pop it in the microwave again! I didn't eat it and at that point was over it. Paid for it and left never to return again! If this is what Duffy's considers a reasonable standard of service then I don't know how they are in business still! read more

If I could give 0, I would. This place used to be the go to- great food, large portions, fantastic casual service. Today? Like a completely different restaurant. To start, we all had salads. Well we all ordered salads... but the waitress comes out and says "we are out of lettuce, does anyone want cottage cheese or apple sauce instead?" We received 1 salad, bottom of the barrel quality. Because no one else wanted cottage cheese or apple sauce we asked if we could receive a discount off our meals. The waitress hesitantly walked away and come back saying "I can get y'all a dollar off each meal." We accept, and move forward. This place's meals used to be huge portions and top quality homemade taste. Now? Soggy chicken, incorrect orders, about 11 French fries and empty drinks. One ordered chicken fried steak with gravy on the side. When it came out? Drowned in gravy. The waitress offered to "scrape it off". Never suggested fixing the meal properly. This place has been around for years. Advertising "35 years of service to Broken Arrow." If they continue down this road, they won't be around much longer. EAT MESSY FOOD WITHOUT A FORK!!!!! Took forever to get food, we ate ALL the cracker packets at the table waiting. The food was cold, despite watching them microwave it before they brought it. The fries were obviously the cheap coated "seasoned fries" from the frozen section of the grocery store. I asked for brown gravy on the side with my Country Fried Steak instead of the creamy white gravy as I can't have milk. They had to remake it as it was initially covered in white gravy. They left the same fries on the plate though, still with the white gravy on them, so no fries for me. That's fine really as I didn't want to eat them after watching both the cook and the waitress handle my fries with bare hands. The waitress never refilled our drinks despite "promising" to refill them three times as she passed the table. My wife was forced to eat her gravy covered chicken and fries WITHOUT A FORK or any utensils as she was never given utensils, even after we asked for them. I offered mine, of course, but she refused saying that she shouldn't have to share. She's always right. The waitress did "promise" to bring utensils with our drink refills, the refills that never came. I don't think she knows what that word means. When I was at the register paying (when the waitress expects a tip) the waitress apologized several times for the "poor service" as she was the only waitress for the whole restaurant that evening. The only waitress... for a whopping 5 tables. Most decent restaurants require each waiter to juggle at least 10 tables at once, and they do it well. WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!!! read more

The wait staff is competent and on the ball, coffee refills rollout with no drama. They serve a regular menu but one can get breakfast all day. We were in search of a breakfast place close to the BA Farmer's Market, and we didn't want to go to IHOP, so we ended up here for our first visit. We were seated fairly quickly in a not so busy dining area. They took our drink order quickly, but our waitress forgot about us and started taking other customers orders that came in after us. About 10 minutes passed before we were able to put our order in. My coffee sat empty as waitresses buzzed by with full coffee pots. I tried to flag them down. Eventually, once our food came out, it was great! The biscuits were amazing and tasted freshly homemade. The gravy portion was very generous as well. Bottom line, we had not so great service, but delicious breakfast food. The prices were cheaper than IHOP by a few bucks. We will go back and give this place another shot. Our waitress also messed our food orders up as well, despite having written them down. Our food was mildly warm, and the pancakes looked like they had been frozen.
