In town visiting and saw Charleston's never been to it before gave it a try menu has a great selection. Everything's decently priced. The portions were very big. I enjoyed a house salad with soup. I had the gumbo. The croissants are incredible. We tried the spinach dip. It was delicious. I would definitely return. I actually just found out that there's a Charleston in the east Valley back in Arizona so I plan to give it a try. Consistency is definitely not on Charleston's menu. My wife went there today with a friend for lunch. She ordered a grilled chicken salad. Again, she told me that the music was so loud that her friend could barely hear the conversation. Now, to the salad. She was very disappointed with the chicken. It wasn't the taste as she said it was good, but a minuscule amount for an $18 salad. She said the iceberg lettuce wasn't fresh and the dressing was dismal. We're back on the do not recommend train. Intermittently, I will try Charlestons to see if there has been any upgrades and every time I go, I'm honestly just disappointed. The service I receive is always great and has no issues there. I got the prime rib again just to be let down. The outer crust on one side had good flavor, but the other contained an amount of salt that would suffice a salt water aquarium. I ordered the prime rib medium rare. It came out appearing to be close to that but it was tough and had a gray colored center with pink around it. This is due to improper thawing or uneven cooking. Despite that, it literally had the taste of water. I was just disappointed. Although I did not finish it, the waitress did take it off the bill which I was pleased with the service on their end. The other food items that we got were average. Out of all the places to go for a good dinner, this will no longer be on the list in the Broken Arrow for my family. read more

WOW...The 10 oz hand cut filet at this Charleston's was excellent. It tasted like a filet from a high-end dedicated steakhouse. The cut was THICK and the medium rare was PERFECT. Their entrees come with a baked potato and a side salad. The croissant accompanying the salad was the best croissant. It's actually the reason why I would often come back to Charleston's. The service was great. We were in and out of the restaurant in an hour during lunch. For a table of nine, the service was fast and efficient. I love Charleston's Restaurant so much that my fiancée has had to convince me to pick somewhere else for dinner because I'd go here constantly if I could. The service is always amazing. Even during busy times, drinks and food come out quickly, and every server I've had has been attentive and on top of it. The food is seriously delicious. The honey butter croissant with the salad is INSANE. I also think their queso is better than the one at Los Cabos Mexican Grill & Cantina, but if queso isn't your thing, the spinach artichoke dip is amazing too. I usually get a steak and baked potato, but I've also had the French dip and loved it. Honestly, everything I've tried here has been delicious. Inside seating is romantic and soft but patio seating( if weather permits), is beautiful. Whichever you decide the service is A+. read more

This is one of go to family spots either my Folks! We have had the same waiter and waitress serving us for a few years now until they left for greener pastures! Matt and his wife were always so great when we came in! Don't get discouraged everyone else there that works is just as amazing! We've never had bad service once in the few hundred times we've eaten here! The place is always clean and I love the dime lighting in the place it makes for a romantic even when on a date night with the wife! We've tried an array of dishes: Dynamite Shrimp Salad, Kale & Quinoa Salad, Flatbread Pizza, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Salmon Caesar Salad, Walt's Champagne Salad, French Dip, Grilled Chicken and Avocado Club, Chicken Piccata, Grilled Pork Chops, Shrimp Scampi, Pork Carnitas Tacos, the Cheeseburger.. so you could say we dine here often! We have honestly never had a bad dish but our favorite dish might have to be the Dynamite Shrimp Salad or the Grilled Pork Chops. I also enjoy their fish specials from time to time. We don't have to worry about whether or not everyone will be happy with their order one time and the next think it's not so great... We kind of think of them as the gold standard for a great dining experience every time. Visited for lunch with lady friends but have also had dinner there as well. Both were pleasurable experiences. Service at the Broken Arrow location was excellent despite being quite busy. Our orders arrived promptly, warm and yummy. I had my old standby the catfish plate with two generous fillets in a lightly coated cornmeal breadcrumb crust. Crispy on the outside, flaky and moist on the inside. The slightly spicy coleslaw and fries were the perfect complement. My friends all commented favorably on their chicken sandwiches, chicken piccata, and hamburger. Chicken enchiladas huge, cooked in peppers and onions covered in spicy sauce and cheese. Odd longrain white rice covered in black beans and beef? Burger cooked as ordered with hand-cut fries. Plenty of refills, checkout seamless. The only thing missing were mints. Second visit: Waiter smiles and charms, "It's coming," for 30-minute wait. Not busy. Manager apologized with partial comp. Chicken enchilada, scarce chicken. Drowned salad, asked for on-side dressing, was replaced. Steak and potato on-point. Never saw waiter again. For the price, they need to step it up.
