The server was a smooth talking fellow that thoroughly explained everything and made the visit better. I was unfortunately multitasking during the first part of the visit because I had a zoom call going on in one ear until that finished up which affected how present I was able to be. My dish was okay. I normally get steak but decided to get the Sea Bass. It was cooked just right but could have used a little more butter and salt to enhance the flavor a bit. I would certainly go back so that I could try more things on the menu but overall it was a pleasant experience. I really can't find anything to complain about here. I stopped at the hotel to break up my drive to visit family in Texas and do a little gambling on the way. I had a Caesar Salad, filet mignon and baked potato. The Caesar Salad was delicious. The dressing had a little kick to it and when I was finished with the salad I broke off a piece of bread and ran it around the bowl. I love a good Caesar Salad and what usually kills the experience is not so fresh romaine lettuce. I was pleased to find nice and fresh crispy greens. My filet was cooked to a perfect medium+ and was as tender and delicious as I could have hoped for. Baked potato was as expected. Coors light hit the spot. I had no room for dessert. Even though I was alone on this trip. I had a fabulous meal and would definitely return. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive during my visit. We came here for special occasions when this was McGill's. We met with some friends for dinner. Our server was outstanding! He was super attentive and really took very good care of us. The food overall was very good. We had the crab cakes as an appetizer. They were light and still moist, very tasty! My wife and I both went with the prime rib. Glad to see it's still offered. The prime rib arrived as ordered and was tasty. It did not arrive hot, it was more lukewarm to cool. But still good. We closed the meal with a cheesecake to share and it was uber delicious. Some renovations have been made, but it is still very tasteful. High end priced on the steak ($50-$70) and seafood and you need to know everything is a la cart. I have attached their menu. Ordered the following: Half dozen oysters - good but nothing special 8 oz filet - I don't normally get filets because I tend to lean towards something a little more fatty like a ribeye or NY... ordered the filet Pittsburgh style medium rare. We decided last minute to go here for my birthday dinner. The ambiance and view is romantic. The service was good. We have heard they have good steaks. My husband makes his own really good steak so we rarely choose that option when we eat out. The food was flavorful but felt overall that it was small portions and overpriced. After each getting 2 entrees, one old fashioned, and one glass of house red wine, our bill was close to 200. When we spend that kind of money, potions are usually much bigger like Mahogany or Bull in the Alley. First time dining here. Was excited to try a new place but the food was lacking. We had seared Ahi tuna and lobster bisque for appetizers. Tuna was brownish and just ok in flavor. Bisque was great. McGills blew me away this time! We've been several times because we had some comps and service was good but the food wasn't always up to par. This time EVERYTHING was fantastic. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly, the server was so friendly and on top of everything. We tried the lobster Mac and cheese and it was loaded with large chunks of lobster. Yes, $30 does seem like a lot for Mac n cheese but with all the lobster in it I feel it's well worth the price. I enjoyed a nice glass of moscato with our meal. Hubby had the rib eye and he said it was the best steak he's every had at McGills. We were seated right as the sun was setting and we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset view from the 19th floor. We went on a dinner date at McGills, and the ambiance was lovely. I was seated in a booth that overlooked the beautiful city. We had the ribeye steak and seafood pasta, which were both excellent! Our waitress , Julia, on the other hand, was nowhere to be seen, short and unpleasant to us. When she brought out our dinner she knocked down the knife and butter on our table and just left it there. I just couldn't figure out why she didn't clear our table after we'd finished our bread and butter. As I had to ask her to clean our table. I also had to ask for a drink refill. The only time she smiled and was friendly was when she brought out our check. When you spend over $100 at a premium restaurant, you anticipate excellent service; nevertheless, we did not receive excellent service that night. This is a hard review. Full disclosure: The reason these reviews for this location vary from 1 to 5 is because it's located in a casino. Chances are, if you are eating here, you are using a comp or are getting a very big discount to do so. That being said, I'm going to be honest: This place tries very hard to be something it simply is not. I've eaten at nice steakhouses. Three Forks, Pappa Bros., Bobs, etc. This wasn't that. This place tries to be every cliche though. We dressed nicely, only to find people in tshirts. We were brought a small sample of a pickled cucumber. It was ok. The breads, as most reviewers state, were beyond underwhelming. I wish instead of Jason D. Just replying back to these things, he'd DO SOMETHING to correct stuff. The bread is bland. Salt it. The butter too. I ordered "colossal scallops" for $39. There were 4. Left ok at the pic. I'll give you that two were a good size. The other two....nope. But they were all cooked perfectly. But when a scallop costs $10, you want each one to be big. That was a bit disappointing. Also disappointing was the fact that you couldn't substitute risotto as a side. So I had to just pay $10 for a side of parm risotto and I'm not lying...it was the worst I've ever had. It was crunchy, not cooked properly and cold. Again Jason, look at the other reviews as this is a recurring theme. It lacked any flavor and was a huge bummer. I pointed it out to the waiter but he said it was the way risotto is supposed to be. What? Again, risotto should be firm, not crunchy. And not cold. They do cliche things like palate cleansers and warm towels after dinner. Would I go back? Maybe, but only if management actually made changes. They need to work on temperature of food. Sides were cold. I should have been able to pay a reasonable up charge to switch my starch to risotto. Also, our server didn't even tell us the special. We only learned of it after when he told the nearby table about it. Not cool. So the pros: The service was attentive. Even though he didn't take the risotto away when I told him it was crunchy and cold, he did keep our water filled and was nice. The scallops were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Cons: It's annoying dressing up to go someplace nice and then seeing someone in a tshirt. Food is way overpriced, but most are comped anyway. Scallops weren't consistently sized, so I feel cheated. Risotto was awful and should have been taken off check because it wasn't eaten. Chef needs to learn how to season things. Mostly...this place needs to read reviews and implement change. I'd recommend only coming here if you get paid to do so. read more

Over an hour to get our meal and the managers reason was " he hated December because they were busy?" 5 tables seated after ours finished and left before we received our main course. Lobster was horrible Server was good but shouldn't have allowed it to get that far behind to where we sat without food after our salad for 48 minutes. Beautiful steakhouse with inviting service staff. We had dinner here on night two and three of our stay. The first night I ordered the salmon and it was accompanied by a warm rice pilaf. My boyfriend ordered the lobster tail which was fairly large. We had ordered an assortment of hors d'ouveres to start; including a charcuterie board, lobster lollipops & oysters on the half shell. The food although good was not exceptional. The lollipops had too much breading in my opinion & the oysters that were served are not my favorite as they're quite large & too milky. The Cesar was sensational along with the gorgonzola mashers. Both servers and bussers were great. The hostess should be required to dress nicer, perhaps an all black business casual outfit of some sort as I was surprised to see a cut off flannel in the casino's on "fine-dining" establishment. read more

Not to be confused with the other McGill's locations in Tulsa, this is the one inside the Hard Rock Hotel - on the 19th floor and fabulous! Hubby and I went here before a concert held at The Joint, and it was the perfect start to an awesome evening! We started our meal with the Lobster Popcorn. Seriously, can you think of anything more delicious?! Served with a sweet chili sauce, and I swear if I didn't have a full meal coming later, I would've eaten all these and ordered some more! Dinner was Porcini Crusted Filet with charred carrot and asparagus for me (uhhhh ... DIVINE) and hubby got the ribeye. Complete with sides of roasted garlic mash, truffled potatoes and sautéed spinach, our meal was nothing short of fabulous. I was quite impressed. Two weekend in a row I've stayed at the Hard Rock and eaten at the 19th floor steakhouse. Impeccable wait staff. Truly the atmosphere and attentiveness alone is so great, you want to experience that again and go back. First visit, we shared appetizers of the oysters on the half shell (great), the firecracker chicken (jalapeño stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon and fried) which was on the dry side without much flavor and the wagyu wonton tacos which I wasn't crazy about either. The crème brûlée was fantastic on both visits. Last night my friend and I shared an 8oz filet. For a shareable added cost, they will split the steak and you each get a veggie (very flavorable green beans) and choice of potato. We also split a steakhouse wedge chopped salad. This wedge was typical except had the addition of egg and a splash of balsamic and croutons. Their ranch? Sooo good. We had a variety of breads. The first dish was a pre-salad chicken salad scoop with Melba toast (last week it was salmon mousse and wheat cracker). We enjoyed a lemon sorbet to cleanse our palette before our steak arrived. I've been here 3 times in the past 3 months and I love it. The last time I was disappointed because my favorite appetizer the candied bacon, was no longer on the menu. On the same visit the waitress recommended the chicken breast dinner. I wasn't really impressed with that selection and I will never order it again. I had the waygu filet mignon. This flavor is ridiculous. I typically wouldn't order a filet in waygu but a rib eye typically, but the rib eye was HUGE and I didn't have the appetite for such a large steak. Prepared perfectly medium rare, good service, would come back again for sure. read more
