Awesome food and service. We eat here a lot. Great breakfast, lunch or early dinner. Daily Specials on a wall sign. Love their meatloaf btw. Unfortunately they now close at 3 pm. We used to eat here for dinner but now we get a take home meal because they close early. Great staff and they celebrate military veterans (veterans get a discount) which we really appreciate . Brenda is the best waitress!

My husband has gone here on Veterans Day for two years and has gotten a free meal. They are so patriotic and it's nice to see. The inside is very clean with great decor and packed with people almost every time we go there. It feels cozy and the staff are so attentive and hospitable. It feels as if they know me and my family. The food was great too! I loved the grits! It has the best breakfast in Broken Arrow. My parents came for a visit and my dad loved their liver and onions. We ordered two pies for Thanksgiving and they were amazing! My favorite was the carmel pecan.

One of my favorite places for breakfast. Always fast and easy. I will say the only negative is there are times when it can get really busy but they are normally pretty good about it. Best breakfast and I highly recommend the steak tips.

Cute diner, nice staff and awesome pork tenderloin sandwich (like Iowa pork tenderloin)! Recommend!

"Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded." Yogi Berra 4.6 star rating with over 1200 reviews on Google is evidence of the restaurants popularity, and the fact that this Saturday morning the parking lot was full. Parking had overflowed in to adjoining businesses. If you are going to eat here on Saturday, go very early or after 10 am. We walked in the at 9:30; the place was packed. A beehive of activity. Fortunately, a group of 8 or more local firefighters were finishing and we got a table. The restaurant is well staffed with a team of friendly cheerful attentive ladies. They worked well together to keep things moving as if rehearsed. Regardless of who your initial waiter was they will all stop by to check on you. The restaurant is small. When crowded like today, a collision involving waitresses with arms loaded with plates, seemed inevitable. Never happened, they flowed smoothly back and forth to the kitchen like a school of fish. Great service. I had selected five of Google's top rated diners in the Tulsa area for this morning's meal. Deciding came down to one thing; which restaurant had the best looking hashbrowns. 50's diner had the winning picture of what diner hash brown should look like. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the "All American with Meat." Two eggs, bacon, hash browns, a biscuit and gravy. I didn't realize how hungry I was, until the plate was clean. My wife chose the bacon omelet with the seasoned fried potatoes. She loved the meal. Check the pictures. They have a great deal for breakfast during the week. Two eggs, two bacon, hashbrowns, biscuit and gravy for $7.99, served weekdays from 6am to 8am. You can't eat a meal at McDonalds that good, for that price, with service. And, my wife spotted the pie menu! Possibly the best diner in Broken Arrow. When we walked in and saw the packed diner, Yogi Berra's famous saying came to mind.

It lives up to its sign!

Very friendly, very delicious breakfast. I had the chili omelette with hashbrowns and a biscuit and gravy. The biscuits were definitely homemade and so light and fluffy they we're almost fragile. The biscuit is split in half and each half is lightly toasted on the exposed side which was a really nice touch. The chili is real chili, meaning Texas and Oklahoma chili does not have beans while Midwest and eastern chili does have beans. This is true Oklahoma-Texas chili over the omelette. It was delicious. The waitress was friendly and could adjust to any topping or variation from the menu. The diner's look and feel made everything comfortable and relaxed. What a wonderful place found by accident. I will return.

Even during busy times, drinks and food come out quickly, and every server I've had has been attentive and on top of it. The food is seriously delicious. The honey butter croissant with the salad is INSANE. I also think their queso is better than the one at Los Cabos Mexican Grill & Cantina, but if queso isn't your thing, the spinach artichoke dip is amazing too. I usually get a steak and baked potato, but I've also had the French dip and loved it. Honestly, everything I've tried here has been delicious. Inside seating is romantic and soft but patio seating( if weather permits), is beautiful. Whichever you decide the service is A+.

It was not very crowded, but it was very noisy. (Think Texas Roadhouse) The piped in music was a tad louder than we expected. The host was very nice and our server was outstanding. If our drinks were starting to get low, there was another one sliding in before you had a chance to ask. My wife ordered the Shrimp Scampi. It was an utter disappointment. The shrimp was overcooked. One was so overcooked, it should've had GoodYear stamped on the side of it. She did say the pasta was well cooked and the bread they served was "unique." I ordered the chicken fried chicken and I also was disappointed. I base my chicken fried chicken on the Big Biscuit CFC. Their brine is marvelous and the chicken is so moist. This CFC wasn't brined and was on the verge of being overcooked and dry. The skin on mashed potatoes were firm and had good flavor. The gravy was the highlight of the meal. The black pepper/chipotle combo in the gravy was excellent. I like the glazed carrots, but my wife said the ones at Cheddar's were better. The prices are definitely on the higher end of the spectrum and IMHO, not worth the extra costs. This will probably be our first and last time that we will patronize this establishment. There may be others who love this place, but it was not our cup of tea.

Dan got the Mathis burger, which is a mixture of sausage and ground beef with jalapeños, fried onions, and cheese. I got the bacon cheese burger, and we ordered home made fries to split. About 15 minutes after we ordered, they told us they were out of homemade fries, so we got curly fries instead. The food wasn't bad but just not wonderful as I expected. The service wasn't bad but we did have to stand at the counter awhile before they could take our order. They told us they were out of homemade fries at least 15 after we placed the order, and they took our order to the wrong table. Shortly after we started eating, we heard someone else order homemade fries. I don't know if they got more homemade fries in that short amount of time or if that man had the same experience we did. The decor was unique. The restaurant is set off from the furniture store with a row of chairs, which customers can sit on if the tables are full. I enjoyed glancing at the furniture and wondering if we might want to do some redecorating. Something we really liked were the prices. Restaurant prices have skyrocketed this year. Not only are the burgers priced right, but they serve breakfast at last year's prices. I'm tired of paying around $15 for bacon, eggs, and toast. Next time we want to go out for breakfast, we are going to try Hardens. I'm bumping the review up from 3 stars to 4 just because of the price. It's a good value.

My wife summed up the meal and wrote the review with one short sentence. As she wadded up her napkin and threw it in the empty burger basket she said, "That was a damn good burger!" My opinion, the burgers and fries at Harden's are as good or better than most offered in Tulsa. Better than many I have had, that were rated as the best in Tulsa. (Excluding charburgers, charburgers are a different animal) We had cheeseburgers and the homemade fries. Big juicy patties flawlessly cooked on the flat top. The fries were perfect. Most restaurants don't prep their potatoes properly for homemade fries. The result, within minutes after serving you end up with a soggy, limp greasy fry. Harden's does it right. The large thick lightly coated fries stay crisp. The crunchy patches of potato skin add flavor to the already excellent potato sticks. The furnishings of the restaurant are immaculate and expansive. The styling is extensive and varied, ranging from contemporary to relaxed modern. Decorative art, colorful floor coverings, attractive lamps and vases complement the furniture. Grab your burger basket and drink, wander around until you find a comfortable couch or recliner. If you like to eat in bed, they are available. Whatever you like, put your feet up kick back and enjoy the meal!!

The first one I tried (Collan) was not dry in my opinion. The Triple was drier but my favorite was the Fume. I really got hints of pinion in this final one and ordered another 5 oz. of it. We tried the avocado bruschetta to start. It was four big pieces of good bread but was more avocado toast than bruschetta. I would probably go with a different appetizer next time. We both tried the burgers. I went with the mushroom-gouda one. It was over done and not seasoned at all. The gouda was nice and gooey and the mushrooms were seasoned well. Fries were OK. The table next to us had a couple of the flatbreads and I would try those next time. Back to the service. It was OK but our server had a tendency to just show up at our table and just stand. I would come back to try more appetizers and a flight of their red offerings. I also want to know more about the winery. Maybe after the busy holidays.

This hostess had no smile, no energy, and no desire to be a welcoming person. Eyore has a better personality. Now, on the flip side, Bella (our server) was a rock star. She was on top of drink refills without asking, checked on us numerous times and had an excellent personality and demeanor. They do have a call ahead wait list, however it will only accept 6 people. If you have over that mark, you had better go elsewhere. It was a Sunday night, and we were meeting there, so I arrived early to register our party. Since I could not make a reservation, or get on a wait list, I was told that it would be an hour wait! I was hoping that maybe the estimated time would be shorter. It was not! We watched people come, eat, and go for two hours! When asked about the wait we always got the reply, we're waiting for the people to leave! What kind of an answer is that? With all the people that they seated during the TWO HOUR WAIT, they could have taken us. I guess that I should mention that this was the second time this has happened to us with a birthday celebration! It most surely will be our last! The hustle and bustle of Friday night dinner plans hadn't started yet and there was plenty of seating. We were seated and there were crumbs on our "clean" table. We were moved and the floor under that table was sticky. Our server, who never introduced themselves, came and took our drink and appetizer order. Our sodas came out flat. The server didn't charge us and replaced them with waters. Our appetizer eventually arrived, the spinach, artichoke dip. The parmesan on top was not melted, we removed it like a sheet of paper. We told our server, who said, "oh yeah, I should've told you that it is better when you take it home and microwave it to really melt the cheese then it's really good". Even if we did enjoy the spinach dip, which we did not, there aren't enough pita chips to eat the entire appetizer. Those would be an additional charge. During the appetizer conversation, I did put my empty water glass to their side of the table to make a refill more simple. They started to walk away without even realizing the nonverbal gesture I made as to not interrupt our conversation. I verbally asked for more water and they forgot about it. I did witness the "ah-ha" moment when they remembered they had forgotten. My wife's grilled salmon had no real flavor, sitting on top of a basic bed of rice. Her tabouli was lacking. I can't forget to mention that when her side salad arrived, the food runner simply asked, "is this yours?" It was slightly off-putting. I never thought about my dining experience being altered by the food runner, but "side salad with ranch" versus "is this yours" is a minor detail that can apparently affect the experience. The server didn't come by as often as I felt they should. They did their verbal checks with the appetizer and the meal, but didn't see them do any walk by checks, until I asked for the bill. My burger was nothing to write home about, but it was good. The fries were undercooked and the thousand island dressing tasted like Kraft dressing. I ate half my burger and my wife ate a small portion of her salmon. We paid 60$ for food we barely touched and we took none of it home. I would rather pay 60$ at Chili's or Texas Roadhouse. We take those leftovers home. I would like to say that I would give Bison another chance, but that won't be the case. Too many mishaps on this visit to make us want to return. My wife was very tempted to talk to the manager, but I was more ready to just pay the check, leave, and take this experience as a sign to never return.
