Albert G's has some of the best BBQ in the city! In the heart of Tulsa, OK, Albert G's is a big space with tables, Booths and a bar with high ceilings but a bit dark. The service is great as the Hostess, greet and sit you with a smile. The servers are very knowledgeable and check with you often but not enough to be intrusive. The highlight is of course the food where the dry rub ribs are the highlight. The ribs are tasty, tender and practically fall off the bone. In addition, the Beef brisket is as tender and can be cut solely with a fork. The potato salad has a firm texture with a bit of sweet tang. A must eat restaurant while visiting Tulsa or residing there. Great service, exceptional food and very reasonable prices! Well done Albert G's!

I can't rave enough about this place!!! Let's start with LEVI at the bar. If you are looking for a TRUE cocktail (muddled, etc) he is your guy! Levi is the MOST professional, polite AND efficient bartender I have EVER experienced. Food was ABSOLUTELY delicious. We had 12 smoked wings (naked) with a side of their signature wing sauce and home made ranch . Can't wait to visit again! Don't forget to ask for LEVI!!!

Our 15th 'cue stop in Oklahoma, and the 398th nationwide, brought us to the Downtown location. On street parking proved easy at one in the afternoon, and the building was an architectural gem. Be sure and admire the ceiling here! The food had its ups and downs. We ordered a dozen wings, queso and chips, and ribs with okra and broccoli. Two refillable iced teas brought the tab to $55.34 plus a nice tip for good service. The ribs, with their rub leaning to the peppery side, were very good, and needed no help from either of the two sauces on the table. The broccoli was broccoli, but the fried okra was very well done and thoroughly enjoyed. We also liked the brisket queso, and intend to play around with this dish when we get home. Alas, the wings were dry and curiously lacking in flavor; it took generous dollops of the ranch dressing to redeem them. So, a mixed bag, with the ribs and okra solid choices-- and don't forget to pay a visit to the well organized pickle bar!

This place was pretty good but not my favorite bbq place. Some of my smoked brisket was dry and falling apart. Sausage was good. Their mac n cheese was disappointing - nothing special. I liked the cole slaw and the prices (compared to CA). Service was fast and friendly though.

The ribs were excellent a little on the salty side but the bite and chew was excellent. The Coleslaw was a little boring. The Brisket Queso was really well done. The atmosphere was excellent great decor. The service was lacking our server seemed distracted and indifferent the entire time.

I hesitated to patronize this barbecue joint because of reviews about dry brisket, but went anyway because it was the only barbecue joint within walking distance downtown. I'm glad I did. I ordered the baked potato with pulled pork and it was delicious! The potato was huge and cooked to perfection. The pulled pork was plentiful, moist, and delicious! I used the sweet barbecue sauce but had a choice of hot barbecue sauce and spicy mustard. The pickle bar was a nice touch where they not only had pickles but jalapeños and sweet peppers. I had a root beer and our very cheerful waitress made sure I had a refill before I even asked for it. My partner had the sliced brisket sandwich and he said it wasn't dry at all. He loved it! Because of all the rave reviews about their banana pudding, we ordered one to share, and it lived up to all the hype. This may not be the best barbecue in Oklahoma, but it satisfied our craving. Gotta say, these Texans took a little offense to the upside down Longhorn on the wall, however.

Great service! Food was decent! Ribs were excellent! I didn't care for the sides, but others enjoyed it. The smoked turkey was very flavorful! My favorite was the apple pudding bread! ( I think that's what it was called). You can taste the fresh apples! You can feel the love in that dessert and I can't wait to come back for more of it!

Ok this was serious the most mind blower restaurant in Tulsa for me. I did not expect the perfect entrance host, the wonderful bbq food was delicious seriously, but the best of the best was the waitress that served me. She was honestly the most perfect server that I've ever had. This place is nice and clean and designed great inside.

A great meal at a reasonable price! I came in on a weekday at dinner time and had immediate seating. Never having been here before, I took the servers advice and have the Rib platter. Generous portion of five St. Louis style ribs. 3 different sauces at the table, but the rub was good alone. Ambience was casual with soft music playing. Multiple televisions throughout with sporting events on. Think of a more upscale Rib Crib. Parking maybe a pain due to the downtown location, I walked from a nearby hotel so it wasn't an issue.

Tender brisket! Potato salad & coleslaw were both good but the baked beans were a disappointment.

Downtown Tulsa has a great bar b que joint! Of course downtown parking is always an issue but once inside you forget about that! It's a chill vibe, the hostess was super nice and the place is spacious! I ordered chopped brisket and 2 sides, Cole slaw and baked beans. She mentioned the baked beans with a signature smoky sauce and my taste buds didn't agree, I returned and got the Mac n cheese which was good! The brisket was delicious and the pickle bar, outstanding! Overall a good vibe downtown for a group or just a hang out to watch sports and drink. I'll return. 3 stars only because hubby didn't like the bar be que sauce?!?!?!

The ribs were the best I've had in a long, long time and you can't beat the happy hour chicken wings for a buck each.

It's a truly uncanny sensation to experience the texture of barbecue without any of the flavor.
