Yesterday was the first time I tried the desserts from this location and I can't wait to go back. My boyfriend and I ordered the mango mochi, Snow White strawberry drink, Snow White mango drink, and the mango mochi. The drinks were both suuuuper yummy and the fruits were really fresh too! I'm normally not a fan of mochi but my boyfriend absolutely loves mochi so I tried it. The mochi was really fresh and it didn't taste dough-y at all. YES OF COURSE BIGGER. A bowl is a bowl sir. Food: Since it's officially my first time eating inside, I decided to try something new. At first I wanted Combo B, but that didn't turn out well, because the mango pancake that comes with it was sold out. Then I decided on Combo A, but nope because the mango mochi was sold out too. Okay great, so I decided on trying these two things: 1) Mango Tower for Two [S11]: There was a promotion going for 50% off, so I decided why not? When it came to my table, I didn't realize how huge this dessert was, lucky I was sharing with my boyfriend. The mango ice cream on top was delicious and the few slices of mango that came with it was fresh and sweet. The shaved ice lacked flavor, felt like I was literally eating ice. Then glutinous balls were so hard to chew and I just kept spitting it back out. Not worth $13, but I'm glad I got it for half the price or I would've be extremely disappointed. PLUS THERE WAS A SMALL BUG ON IT. My boyfriend told me to just let it go. Okay fine. Whatever. 2) Mango Mille Crepe: I like my crepe cakes, so I was excited to try this. I don't know what went wrong here, but the first bite made me want to gag. The cake itself does not taste like mango at all. It had such a strange and disgusting taste to it. I'm assuming they drizzle it with some sort of mango syrup, pretty nasty too. Took a bite and that was all. Wish I can get a refund because it was such a waste. I think I'm just going to stick with my favorite thing from here which is mango pancake. I don't even wanna bother trying anything else. Disappointed. read more

The dessert here is good, but not the best I've had. The ice cream was great, especially the durian flavor. It's called Mango Mango, but they ran out of mango ice cream. The service was kinda slow. This is my favorite go-to spot if I'm in the mood for a fruity dessert. Unlike some places I've gone to, I've never been served bad fruit here. It's always perfectly ripe and sweet. I love this place. Usually the places in Sunset Park area are only good the first time we go there but after the second time we never return. Mango mango is my go to place for dessert and I come at least once a week after dinner. Food and drinks are pretty consistent and quality have kept up over the years. I felt I had to write this review because I was so utterly disgusted by the place. My friend and I went here after having dinner at beef and fish nearby. Will review that restaurant too, stay tune. Green tea mille crepe cake, Durian mille crepe cake, double egg custard and green tea red bean drink. First I was not impress with the food at all. The dessert was quite lacking in freshness and in taste. Among the four items, the only one I liked was the double egg custard. That was pretty good and I give the place an extra star for that. So now comes the gross and disgusting part and why I would never go back to this dessert shop again. First there were fruit flies or small mosquitoes everywhere around us. At first I thought it was only one. So as it was coming on the food, we try to move our hands and shoo it away. Even try to kill it. But then more and more flew around us. Near our food. Then some even went on the desserts. And as we trying to eat and enjoy more came flying around. I counted at least six on our food. Then as we got up to leave, more was swamping around. How unsanitary is this place that there would be so many. Especially on a rainy day. Plus it looks like they had no business today. Only us and two other people were in the place. Then as we were about to leave, one other young couple came in. We didn't even finish our desserts as we were so grossed out by the insects. My friend also told me he over heard the workers in the kitchen, which we can see from our seats, complaining and fighting how they didn't take out the trash the day before. In addition my friend told me he could see the staff in the kitchen doing what we did, moving their hands and shooing the insect away in the kitchen. That means they have a insect problem of these fruit flies, mosquitoes. It's totally disgusting. I hope I don't get food poisoning as I have a sensitive stomach. Oh boy. The one star is for the decor and the second star is for the double egg custard. But I am never going back to this location again. The insects really did them in. Totally disgusted! If you want a nice dessert place around the area, I recommend you go to Prince Tea House. Decor is a lot better and food is two thumbs up. read more
