Oh how I wish they were in Suffolk county! The chocolate flourless cake was soooo warm and mouthwatering. The quality of chocolate is just insane. I took the Belgian chocolate ice cream to go with hot fudge and even took a jar of sauce home with me. Pleaseeee open up near me!!!!

Who can say no to this deliciousness. Updating my review with a few photos this time. The 6 inch Chocolate Layer Cake is still my favorite indulgence. Their service is always efficient and friendly when I carry out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'll have to come back and sit down one of these days and enjoy the back room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We stopped into this cute and quaint place during a very frigid afternoon in January.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We needed a boost and decided to order a piece of chocolate cake with hot tea. Delicious! Hit the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love this place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great. You find a table and order at the counter and they'll bring over your dessert.

Absolutely love chocolate room! They have the BEST chocolate cake and chocolate milkshake i've ever had. My absolute favorite. It's AMAZING! The chocolate cake is a whole lot of chocolate goodness. The cake is soft and moist. The icing is rich and thick and not overly sweet. The chocolate milkshake is thick and creamy and so rich in flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice place to sit inside for some dessert.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a wide variety of options on their menu, but the chocolate cake and milkshake is a must!! :)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute French style cafe vibes with rich dark chocolate in many of their offerings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The chocolate chip cookie has crunchy enough structure as a soft cookie with brown butter. The chocolate layer cake is decently moist and has rich dark cocoa flavor. The whipped cream is a must and really complements the cake. The ganache layer is very yummy and tastes like a premium chocolate ice cream. The staff seemed very close to each other and were friendly to some local patrons. They were attentive and were quick to provide service.

Service was good. Quick and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great seating at the cafe to do work or relax.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately the cake was inedible. It was terrible, dry and hard. No moisture. Felt old. Chocolate taste was terrible. I had to spit it out. Very disappointed

On the hunt for the best hot cocoa in NY and was hoping this would do the trick. Got the dark chocolate hot chocolate and while it was fudgy and delicious (PMS gold!!), it lacked the creamy, frothiness of a great hot chocolate, even with their homemade whipped cream. In a similar class as Jacques Torres for the same reasons. Wouldn't recommend it but glad I tried it.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Food and atmosphere were great but it was a little pricey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was quick and the employees were nice and welcoming.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love the variety of chocolate items they have, from drinks to chocolates to gifts to pastries. Their hot chocolate hit the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice place to catch up with friends or go on a date.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

My husband and I ate dessert here last week. It's one of our favorite spots for dessert. This place was a 10 minute walk from Bahnmigos which is where we had dinner. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and told that we can get a table and come back to order or order first and grab a table afterwards. We grabbed a table first and walked back to the counter and placed our order. We decided to split a dessert since we were still a bit full from dinner. This time we ordered the Flourless cake with raspberry coulis and a dollop of of whipped cream. It was creamy and delicious. My husband also ordered a cup of green tea which he said was so so. The green tea was very light and tasteless. I think they need to use better quality tea bags for the price. I think this place is best for their desserts, coffees and hot chocolate. Skip the tea. The ambiance is cozy.

Chocolate Chip Almond Cake - Slice -

The first time I visited The Chocolate Room was about 4 years ago. My friend and I tried their famous chocolate chip almond cake and fell in love!! We made the trek down to Brooklyn from Uptown and decided to go all out so we ordered our slices with a scoop of ice cream on the side! I briefly moved out of state and the cake left such a memorable impression. I'm finally back in the area 4 years later and I HAD to visit The Chocolate Room to see if the cake was just as good as I remembered. Well, it was delicious and well worth the wait!! The texture of the cake is dense but it's also light on the tongue and the cake itself is so moist and flavorful. They serve it warmed up which really elevates everything. I skipped the ice cream this time because the prices went up a considerable amount. The presentation wasn't as picturesque or impressive as the first time I visited (they garnished the plate with chopped almonds and other cute toppings with more caramel sauce). The cake was good but it also didn't blow me away like the first time. Overall I was happy with my decision to go back but I won't be dreaming about this cake like I did the first time haha

Came here after brunch for some drinks during the rain, I was greeted with kindness. I wanted to order a cold brew but unfortunately there was none available at the time. I ended up getting a Peppermint tea to have in house. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also got lucky enough to sit in the window and hear the tales of joy and nourishment people get when coming here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ended up taking away a 6 pack of chocolates for $24 +tax Matcha, Chai, Hazelnut and did I mention they have VEGAN CHOCOLATE!! (I got the salted pistachio). I didn't know what to do with my dishes at my table, tried looking for a dish bin to pick up after myself but couldn't locate one. Not sure if it was the owner who had waited on me but she was so nice and the staff seemed so fun and laid back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My kind of crowd and definitely worth a stop if you're in Brooklyn![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I saw tours, gluten free bakery items, and tasting room info advertised online, but turns out this was probably outdated info. So when we walked into the warehouse/tasting room we learned those weren't available after we saw some employees doing admin work and inquired. Would have appreciated more clarity about this online since we drove a ways to visit (I had previously tried to call the shop but couldn't get ahold of anyone; our gamble). However they sent someone out to help us at their merch bar and we were able to sample some delicious sea salt dark chocolate before purchasing a variety of bars. Extremely impressed with the coconut chunky, and I'm not even a huge coconut person. Would definitely go back again for that. The sweet pistachio spread was also incredible. Five star products. Really liked the decor and it was cool to see the actual operation happening in the background of the tasting room space. *Shoutout to Jeremy for gifting us a few bars with our purchase! Sometimes its been too thick to stir, other times it been kind of runny even when stirred. The last batch was more like maple syrup than a 'spread', a horrible mess (although good tasting). I tried to contact the company three times to ensure that if I ordered again I would get a spread, not syrup. I never got any response, just got added to their spam email list. Moving on to other brands of hazelnut spread.

He makes them in several flavors, and they are amazing! Who knew I would like chocolate covered cornflakes? I am a chocolate lover but I would never have thought of this combo. They are melt in your mouth while, being crispy at the same time. There is a large selection of gummies in so many varieties and flavors. I felt like I went back in time with many childhood candies that I haven't seen in years. I didn't know that candy waxed lips, fangs and mustaches still existed. I totally had to buy my dad Mary Jane's, such a classic candy. I most definitely will be back. Thank you Eugene!

While placing my order, I was briefly distracted by a phone call and accidentally said "white chocolate" instead of "milk chocolate." As soon as I realized the mistake--and knowing I'm allergic to white chocolate--I politely asked the sales associate if she could make it milk chocolate instead. I hadn't touched the cup, and it wasn't even handed to me yet. She looked at me as if I was asking for something unreasonable and told me I would have to pay for a whole new cup because it was "company policy." I asked to speak with a manager, hoping for some understanding, but what I got was a shockingly rude woman who immediately began raising her voice at me. She bluntly repeated that she would not make a new cup, even though I never picked up the original one and couldn't drink it due to my allergy. The unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service were unbelievable. I was so frustrated and disappointed that I walked out and left the drink behind without receiving a refund or even an apology. I will never be returning to this Prince Soho location. The store manager was extremely rude, and the way the situation was handled was completely unacceptable. This used to be one of my favorite places, but after this experience, I'm done.

We went last week on a weekday, so there were plenty of tables available. The decor is so pretty, if Disneyland had a chocolate cafe, this is what it would look like. I wasn't aware that you couldn't choose the macarons, but both were delicious so I was fine with the selection. Our server was outstanding as well. The dulce de leche, passion fruit, and rum flavor were my favorite. You also get a cute booklet as reference to the flavors as each one is decorated differently. It's pricey, but worth it.
