Doordash date: unsure I don't know what was going on at work but I needed a lunch and could definitely use more coffee so I found Cafe Chocolat on door dash. I got a shake which I hope was gluten free but I wasn't sure because of the doordash menu. I didn't get sick from it so if it did have gluten I either got lucky this time (because I have a sensitivity) or it was safe. The coffees I had were very good as well. I came here with a couple friends on Labor Day and had an average experience. The cafe is small and comfortably decorated in a busy part of town. I'm not sure if it's because they were short staffed or busy, but the place was unkempt. The trash can was spilling over and an entire table was out of use due to trash and dirty dishes being piled on it. This was like that for the duration of our 30 minute stay - no one came by to clean it. They have a large selection of dessert coffee drinks. All the signs around the place suggested this "Heaven in a Cup" milkshake which is espresso and chocolate, so I ordered that. It was good, but nothing to write home about. They used just soft serve for the ice cream. My friends had the same reaction with their cookies and cream milkshakes. Definitely not worth the more than $6.00 price tag. I get better shakes at my local gas station for less than half the price. The staff was friendly enough, but the other factors were incredibly detracting. I'm not from the area, but there have to be better cafes in the 5 Towns. read more

Made it just in time to try their handmade cronuts..made fresh so by 3pm they were gone and I can see why..they are melt in your mouth delicious!! My favor cronut was their cream cheese vanilla bean frosting topped with blueberry cranberry reduction. If you're looking for some delicious chocolate this is your place! They are so decadent and creamy definitely a must try. However, it was their cronuts that made my day!!! These croissant-doughnut pastry is pure heaven! Get there early because they do quickly sell out..trust me you won't be disappointed! My daughter loved their Belgian Hot Cocoa and I had their coffee beautifully decorated with the latte heart. I was also able to try their "Heaven in a Cup" and it's perfectly name a cup filled with creamy ice cream and little bites of yummy chocolate pure heavenly! They still make a great coffee and good chocolate, but I can't help but miss the only look and feel of the place. The new color and these of the location kills the chocolate vibe. I would still recommend checking this place out, I just can't go here to often. read more

The chocolate is SO good!!! The drinks are amazing with a significant amount of shredded chocolate in them! Some days they have some neat specials on truffles or drinks. One ting I strongly suggest is to start haing non-dairy milk in stock all the time instead of sometimes maybe. read more
