This is the second weekend in a row we've walked over to pick up some of the super yummy bread stuffs. The Sourdough has the perfect amount of tang and the crust has the perfect crusty crunch/chew without being too tough. We text Scott in the morning and we're able to swing by the same day a few hours later to pick up the goods :-). Scott is super humble and seems like a genuinely nice human. We clearly agreed that the cake would match a reference photo, including specific colors and Spiderman eye decorations. The manager reviewed the image with me and allowed me to take a photo of her phone showing the exact design we agreed upon. When my husband arrived to pick up the cake--after the promised pickup time--the cake was brought out, but the manager quickly asked for it to be returned to the kitchen because it was not ready. At that point, it was clear the cake was also missing the agreed‑upon decorations. I spoke directly with the manager, who then denied ever agreeing to include the Spiderman eyes, despite having reviewed and approved the design earlier. Most concerning, my husband later observed the manager alter the photo on her phone, removing the decorations we had discussed. Additional requested decorations were also not put on the cake. It has now been weeks, and no one has followed up, despite being told the owner would contact me. For the price and the importance of the occasion, this level of disorganization, lack of accountability, and dishonesty is unacceptable. I expected professionalism, transparency, and follow‑through--and received none.
