Another reviewer on Google described it as "rubbery" not tender ... but still tasty. This kind of took away a bit from the enjoyment. I think it clearly beats Katz's. Much tastier. But I've had others that I enjoyed more at Liebman's, for example. Still, not bad. Just that weird smooth consistency.

I got two bagels one cinnamon raisin and one everything with cream cheese and bacon on both bagels. I ate one for lunch and I'm saving the other one for dinner. The lady who helped me was very sweet, nice, pleasant. The store itself looked clean and organized. I enjoyed the cinnamon raisin bagel already. The bagel had a good consistency, not too hard, not too soft, in my opinion it was a just right goldilocks bagel. The cream cheese was good, the bacon was cooked just right too and the bites of bacon and cream cheese together are a good combo. I would encourage you to come give this new place a shot if you will be in Hewlett or if you live here.
