Great customer here. Good big variety and options of desserts and drinks ! And they have their own parking always a plus . My second time here .

Got the birthday cake and Oreo cheesecake for MIL bday. Both disappointing. MIL said that I can just make a better cake and that this wasn't any good. We won't be going back. Service was slow even though it was one customer in front of us. They just seem to move slowly.

They offer a variety of sweet treats--everything I've tried so far has been delicious. On my last visit, I went with the gelato, which was creamy and flavorful. They also serve a nice selection of beverages--the chai latte is a standout! Service is quick, and I didn't have to wait long after placing my order. Bonus: they have outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying your dessert on a nice day. Definitely a go-to spot when you're in the mood for something sweet!

    Receipt, delivered yesterday

I received a cake delivered to me for my birthday yesterday. I'm eating a strawberry and realized there is mold on almost every one of my berries on top of my berry cheesecake.

I have nothing bad to say about Sugarberry. I have been in a while but I still get my cheesecake delivered vis grub hub so know there desserts are DELICIOUS. There services are great. They're packed with such care.

We came here on a weekend after the Yelp Social Club event for some sweets afterwards. When we arrived in the bakery, we discovered that this was a small business bakery. Service was ok. There were only two people working behind the counter. There were a lot of Greek pastries and desserts. I ordered the Kataifi, Baklava, and Galactoboureko. The ambiance of the place indicated that it is owned by Greeks just by the products imported and desserts being sold. The place also offered free water for guests. When I received my orders, they felt massive. Portions were generous because it took us three days to finish everything. In hindsight, I definitely got my money's worth.

My first time coming to this bakery after reading a lot of the other reviews, I agree with what people are saying. The establishment is nice. I love the outdoor seating area. When you walk in, it is clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. I decided to purchase a slice of strawberry short cake. When I got home the cake looked good strawberries and whip cream was good but the cake is a little bland. The cake is not dry it's fluffy, but it's missing an ingredient.

Got a cake here for my friends birthday last month and came last night for a sweet treat! I love this place for its hours and all their pastries. The inside is cute as well. The service has also never disappointed, My friends and I love it here.

    Close up of bug

My daughter's visited this location 11/1/25 and was having an iced coffee. As she is sipping her beverage she notices a bug in her drink. I have filled a complaint with the county. One of my daughters that happens to be there is a elementary school teacher in the neighborhood and definitely will be advising her peers and parents to not visit this establishment. The daughter that happened to is a high school student in the neighborhood and as well will advocate to her fellow classmates not to visit. To make matters worst the staff was not even apologetic about the matter.

European bakery in Long Island with a cool 1920s vibe, hard to choose just one dessert!

    ### 5-Star Review for Kookaburra Coffee Co…read more **Absolutely the Best Coffee Experience - Hospitality That Warms the Heart!** I popped into Kookaburra Coffee Co. while visiting the area, craving a good coffee and a few pastries to go with it. As I reached the counter, I noticed the sign: cash only. I realized I didn't have any on me - oops! The owner couldn't have been kinder or more generous. Even after I mentioned I don't live locally and wouldn't be back for months, he insisted on giving me the coffee and pastries on the house. What incredible hospitality in a world where that's rare! And the treats? Phenomenal. The coffee was hands-down the best I've ever had - rich, perfectly brewed, and full of flavor. The cornbread was insanely delicious, moist and flavorful in a way that elevated a simple classic. Then there were these gorgeous pretzel threads (like delicate, twisted pretzel bites) that were addictive - salty, crunchy perfection. This little gem in Long Island (with spots in Rockville Centre and Malverne) is worth seeking out. Pro tip: Bring cash! But even if you forget, you might just encounter the kind of genuine kindness that makes the visit unforgettable. I'll be dreaming about that coffee until my next trip back. Highly recommend!

Visit Date: April 28, 2026…read more I came to Kookaburra before my endocrinologist appointment. It was in my LI Cafe Passport book. I've noticed some reviews say they are cash only, I paid in cash but I also saw some customers using debit cards. I got my dad a bag of coffee because I have Christmas money I had saved to take him out and we only went to Panera a few times so I've been buying him bags of coffee from the nice coffee shops. I got an iced cafe mocha with half and half. It was very good, creamy, chocolately and it gave a nice buzzzz. The coffee shop itself is very small, most of the space is dedicated to their coffee machines and food service. There is limited seating outside but it's not a place where they encourage you to stay and hang out after you get your coffee. It's still good though. It's more of a grab and go coffee spot. They also have no bathrooms but if you ask for a bathroom they will refer you to the train station or the cathedral near the coffee shop. I would recommend coming here for coffee it's really good but if you're looking to linger you can't.

The space is warm and inviting. The menu offers all day brunch as well as some more lunch type items. They have a bunch of different lemonades, both the Arnold Palmer and blood orange versions were quite good. The Le Grand BLT may have been the most perfect BLT I've ever had. Wonderful grilled sourdough filled with Maple Pepper Bacon, Tomato, Mixed Greens, Garlic Aioli and Bacon Jam. It was a little sweet, a little savory and all around delicious. Served with house "chips", not potato chips but maybe fried wraps(?), I'm not sure but they were amazing and addictive. The FS Chicken Salad included Grapes, Apples, Cranberries, Celery, Red Onion, Tomatoes, Candied Walnuts, Mixed Greens on a Croissant was excellent and also served with the house chips. They were also accommodating for a nut allergy and were able to make it without the walnuts. It was reythe perfect spot to grab lunch and I'd go back any time.
