Whistle Stop Cheesecakes are the creamiest cheesecakes I've ever had. My favorite has always been their Triple Chocolate Cheesecake. Be on the look out for the sign on Lawson Blvd. It is a bit chaotic in that area but the parking is ample. Customer service is decent. It's been at least 5 years since I've been here last and they absolutely have not lost their touch when it comes to the crumb cakes. Came here through a recommendation from their neighbors across the street (Bella Italia Granite that just did work for me) and boy are these desserts amazing! We got the classic cheesecake. I've never been to New York but my neighbors in Dandridge TN are from there. Every time they go up to visit they bring us back a cheesecake from the Whistle Stop. A good friend recommended this bakery and I understand why. It's small inside but they bake an incredible amount of goods. We have tried the regular original cheesecake, strawberry (I think) topping cheesecake, key lime, mini original cheese and mini cupcakes. All good, fresh baked items. I really like the cheesecake - light, not too sweet, right amount of crust, light zippy taste of cheesecake. Done SO well. Seriously, thumbs up. The mini cheesecakes are great because you get to try a little bit of everything without having a lot leftover and not feel so guilty and weighed down. They said they can literally top it with anything you want since the base is the original cheesecake. Also makes for great gifting and sampler sizes for gatherings. The mini cupcakes were pretty good and still really fresh three days later. Comes in red velvet, chocolate and vanilla. Definitely a fan and can't wait to come back to order more. The mini red velvet and apple crumble was amazing!! Must do, leave in room temperature for 15 minutes before eating. This is not easy to find. It is buried in a commercial area, but it is worth seeking out. Everything I have had from here is delicious. Went today again and got a gluten-free vanilla pound cake that is soooooo good. And also got a Raspberry lindzer tart that is one the best things I have ever eaten. I haven't found a bakery that makes a light cheese cake yet. This place serves up a lighter cheesecake than Juniors. It's not overly sweet which is a huge plus for me. It's very creamy. Amazing! I was craving a chocolate cake and remembered eating one at high school a few years ago from Whistle Stop. We were able to get in and out of the bakery within 3 minutes tops. There are little boxes of cookies as well as a huge selection of cakes and pies. Their tiramisu was a bit frozen on the inside, but the outside looked good. I usually go with the chocolate mousse. It was perfect. Not too sweet, light, and very rich. I've also tried the carrot cake which was great. I'm excited to try their cheesecakes! Will definitely be back. Mmmm! read more

This bakery is hidden between commercial buildings. What caught my eye was the line right before Thanksgiving as I was driving to Costco. I found this shop when searching for a birthday cake for my mom. I decided on getting a cannoli cake so searched some bake shops near me. I decided to try the whistle stop bake shop and was not disappointed. I stopped by on my lunch break so the place was empty. The staff was extremely friendly helping me choose and wrote happy birthday on the cake for me. I also decided to get a small cheese cake additionally since they're known for it. Both the cheesecake and cannoli cake tasted light and fluffy. My family loved it and couldn't stop eating it. I would love to try some more options so I'll be coming back! read more

The BEST key lime pie ever!!! I haven't had their cheesecake in a while but have read other reviews and it's a must next time. My husband's absolute favorite dessert is key lime pie and I have searched far and wide for the best, this is IT. I specifically ask for a frozen one and we keep it in the freezer, it cuts easily and it's perfect to eat right out of the freezer if you like it really cold. It's the perfect summer treat!
