Seasoned nice with their signature canes dipping sauce it made for a nice combination. Plus's raising canes signature Texas toast hit the spot soft with little crunch seasoned just right there toast didn't disappoint at all. Now for there French fries, nice and soft with a pinch of salt. Made for some good fries. Over the years I heard so much about raising canes down south. I commented how good the wings looked and the Manager mentioned that they were also organic and not frozen which is why they're so nice and crispy. I also got a large Chicken fried rice that seemed like it was home made "Very Clean" and healthy. I put some left over Spicy teriyaki sauce on it and I fell in love with it. We were speaking to the friendly Manager as we were waiting for our food and my Wife asked about the training of the Kitchen staff. He was very proud to let us know that an executive Chef comes to the site and trains them for weeks. They try and discard until they learn the perfected process. It's hard to find good food sometimes in this area and I feel lucky to have them so close by.

Upon calling the store to inform them I only received 6 wings instead of 12. The guy whom answered the phone told me 2 different stories about honoring the promotion. He first said oh you have select the wings twice in order for us to honor it. That was a blatant lie! I explained to him that Sir that is not the truth. I order from uber eats all the time. I am very aware of how the app works. If you select the buy one get one free option it automatically loads the order with the 2 selections. He then went to say oh its a first time buyers promotion and I told him that I know he is lying. So they are not honoring promotions on the uber eats app.

My first visit was to the location on Jamaica Avenue, and that's where I got my first taste of what all the hype was about. I kept wondering, "What's the big deal about chicken fingers?" Well... now I understand! The chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, and absolutely delicious. It comes with lightly salted crinkle- cut fries, a thick slice of warm Texas toast, and a side of coleslaw. I'm not really a fan of their coleslaw, but it does help balance out the heaviness of the meal. And the sauce that looks like a thousand island is so good!! I paired mine with an Orange Fanta, and they even had the good ice, the soft ice chips that remind me of hospital ice. If you know, you know! Since then, they've opened a location on Merrick Boulevard, and every time I pass by, it's busy. I've never actually dined inside either location, but I do like the design of the restaurants. They have a bright, welcoming look that stands out from the street. The large windows and lighting make the space feel inviting, and the warm glow from inside carries through to the outside. Needless to say, Raising Cane's is now my go to spot on whenever I'm in New York. It's become one of my favorite fast food treats.

I scooped up my party of 3 and headed over. Driving up, I saw a beautiful building that's very attractive to the eyes, I was mesmerized at its structure. They have a small parking lot that offers 2 EV charging stations. That's a bad move in my mind because it's a fast pace environment and cars are in and out within 10 minutes or so why the EV vehicles remain for longer periods of time. On the other side, marketing can see it as giving EV drivers a place to park, charge, and eat. They also have 2 handicap spots They offer a drive through and it's very very busy. Cars never seem to stop coming, while we were on site. Let's talk about the inside! The inside offers a fairly large dining area, while the cashier area offers security and protection for the workers. Unlike other Raising Cane's restaurant. Something to take notice of that. The disco ball vs loud music, a perfect combination! The food: let's just say that this is the start up stage and I'm looking forward to the same and consistency that's provided in other locations. Left us licking our fingers (good thing there was no one else seated upstairs at that time); Chicken whiskey club and hot roast beef sandwiches - served on your choice of bread with cole slaw, pickle chips and choice of one hot side dish (we ordered the roasted sweet potato (which was amazing!) and mashed potatoes with gravy); 1/2 wood-smoked Chicken dinner - comes with pickle chips, pickled red onion (whenever something came with pickled red onion, I called dibs on the onions) and choice of one hot and one cold side dish; House Burger - chargrilled, and billed as containing fresh ground brisket and short rib, and served with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, thousand island dressing (could have done without the dressing or having it on the side), cole slaw, pickle chips and one hot side (pit-smoked beans); Asian BBQ Crunch (a salad, I know, who orders a salad in a BBQ joint (okay, this isn't a "joint")?) - contains grilled chicken and the greens and other veggies tasted fresh and crunchy.
