Very convenient location and fast service. The older gentleman at the counter taking our orders was super nice which helped us be patient while he struggled to put in our orders. The food was fantastic all around, I have absolutely zero complaints. It smelled so good in there (air freshener) I couldn't even smell the food cooking which made me nervous but I had nothing to worry about because it ended up being great. I especially loved the cinnamon on the grilled pineapple. The rice bowl was well balanced and seasoned to perfection. I could continue to rave about this place but you can just try it for yourself. P.S my friend said her left overs of the rice bowl was a bit greasy so I recommend eating everything fresh although that may be hard because it's a hefty serving of food. read more

I was happy to see that Chimichurri reopened after its third closure. We took out chicken and some sides for a family dinner. You needed to use a kiosk, and you couldn't add the dipping sauces, you had to tell them verbally, not a big deal. The restaurant wasn't crowded, and the service could've been faster. The sides were delicious, potato salad, macaroni salad, and orzo and mushrooms. The chicken which we order charcoal, had no flavor/taste. It did not seem like the same chicken when the store was last open. The store was clean and decorated nicely. I will give this establishment one more tries hoping the chicken becomes more flavorful. read more

I'm so disappointed and angry I never give a bad review but this time was ridiculous I ordered to go fried tossed wings in sweet chili and grilled wings tossed I garlic aioli while the grilled wings were correct the fried wings were not tossed in any sauce the are bone dry to make things worse when I called and complained the first person I spoke to was rude and told me if I don't bring them back almost an hour drive and 6 dollars in tolls they can't do anything cause I got the food! The second person the manager gave me a 17.5 dollar refund cause "we gave you the food and I don't see sauce on the receipt." The dish was 35 dollars that is just about half off and seeing as how I'm not gonna argue I let it go but then to make matters worse they don't even properly clean their chicken the fried wings had feathers it's gross. This place was packed on the Sunday evening we picked up food! They definitely are a busy place. The food is what you would expect. It's got the concept of Boston Market but the flavor profile is better. The charcoal chicken for me was definitely the highlight but I forgot to take a picture of it. It is exactly what you would expect. It's just slightly close to burnt and has a nice crisp to it. The chicken bowl is delicious as well and will remind you of Chipotle. Quick shout out to owner Zvi of Chimichurri Charcoal Kitchen in Lawrence for top notch customer service in correcting a mistake. Yesterday, we ordered takeout for 20+ people, placing and paying for the order in the afternoon and requesting a pickup three hours later. Upon arrival, the employees had not even begun preparing our food. Mistakes happen -- but when they do, the establishment should take responsibility. Unfortunately, the employee did the opposite, suggesting it was not their fault at all and I could either wait or leave. Zvi immediately noticed what was taking place and rushed over to me. He began by apologizing, stating that it was absolutely the restaurant's responsibility for having forgotten the order, and that the employee's response was unacceptable and would be corrected. He then offered a very respectable discount from our bill, told me the order would be finished in five minutes, sincerely asked forgiveness and requested that we please return in the future. Of course, we will. The food was made promptly and was, as always, absolutely delicious. Zvi's customer service is top notch. We will return soon! read more
