Great tasting seafood. Try their lemonade. Not much parking, buts really only for takeout.

The food is way to salty. I requested little to no salt and it seemed as though they went it extra salty.

The first thing you notice is that getting there feels like navigating a maze since it's tucked away in a secluded location. But the moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed by a warm, relaxing atmosphere that instantly feels like home. You're always greeted with a friendly smile and a genuine "Hello, welcome!" The food is consistently outstanding, and the drinks are always on point. I have to give a special shoutout to our favorite server, Elaine. She is always approachable, kind, and makes us feel like family. Every visit feels personal--she remembers us, asks how we've been, and even knows our usual orders before we ask. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. One of my favorite parts of dining here is sitting outside by the water. Watching the planes fly low overhead creates a unique atmosphere that almost makes you feel like you're traveling. I absolutely love Bayhouse and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, exceptional service, and a relaxing waterfront dining experience. It's a hidden gem that's well worth the visit!

The bay view creates a relaxing atmosphere. Bathroom was ckean. We ordered cod fish and chips; the cod was decent but unremarkable, and the battered fries weren't to my taste. The shrimp was overly battered with very little shrimp inside, so I sent it back. I'd return for the ambiance and drinks, but not the fish. May be the wings are better there..

Compared to its surrounding restaurants, this place is way easier to get a seat at and tends to have fairly quick service. The QR codes make it super easy to get your order in ASAP which helps. For those anti-QR code, you can always ask to waiter to take your order and pay with cash. Yesterday when I came in I got a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a Monster Roll. The wine was great and not too $$ considering it's airport booze. I've gone for this roll several times and yesterday's was a bit fishier than it normally is, but still great. If you're in JFK this is a GREAT spot to get work done, get a full belly, and patiently await your boarding time somewhere besides your crowded gate.

Walked across the foot bridge which easily connects T5 to my hotel, there are a few eateries in the terminal including a Food Hall, I seen other restaurants, none of them appeals to my cravings. Wasn't in the mood for salad bar, pizza or burgers either. Sitting at the bar is easiest to get in and get out quickly. Service can be either hit or miss and also not consistent in service, especially during the dinner rush hour may not be the best timing. However, this one night I have discovered that the Bar is hiding its best service. Waitress was friendly and efficient as customers waiting for seats or takeout orders. As busy as JFK is, never did I feel rushed. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed QR Codes on the counter for you to order from. Was a little sticker shocked at the prices on the menu, but what can I expect? It's NYC. All I ordered was gyoza and fried rice. Food came out in about 10 minutes or so. While I sat at the counter, I stared at the 3 TV screens avoiding the chaos of the airport. What really stood out to me was the liquor selection but was extremely tired to have had any type of alcohol with my dinner. Food was okay, but hot from the kitchen. Would I come here again? Probably not.

Be mindful when ordering because the wings are HUGE and they are lightly battered. Fried Shrimp Platter with Cajun fries: shrimp were fresh, hot and crispy. Not much seasoning at all and the batter is a little heavy on them but still good. Enough fries to feed a family. At the last minute I decided to order a crab boil. I was apprehensive because of so many bad experiences from super small, overcooked crabs, watered down boils. I was actually pleased with my order. They can improve on the flavor and heat of the sauce but I was happy to see that they didn't water it down like other places do.. Corn was typical frozen boiled corn.. So.. the boil gets a 3.5 and the wings and shrimp platter get a 4. If you are looking for a local seafood dinner this place isn't too bad.

I ordered a 1/2 pound of shrimp and a half pound of crab. I ordered it hot with the special combination seasoning. It wasn't bad. The flavor was good but I like my flavoring a little thicker and it was pretty loose. The corn was yummy in the sauce and the potato was like a huge piece of potato. I would have preferred smaller potatoes or then cutting it in half or something. I had to cut them in half and then toss them back in the sauce. Not a huge deal but just annoying when I'm wearing gloves and trying my best not to get sauce on everything. I did like the chunks of garlic in the sauce. Just wished all of it was thicker. The shrimp were a nice size and the crab wasn't bad once my bf so graciously cracked them all and dug the meat out for me lol He ordered the catfish basket with Cajun fries. The catfish was delish and the fries were flavorful and crisp. Pretty good. I gotta try a different flavor combo to see if it's any thicker. I would return. I'm not in a rush but it's close and decent enough.

The vibe is still very lively. Music was pumping, DJ played a great mix. They have hookahs available. The service was pretty good despite the crowd. Kyra was our waitress and she's very knowledgeable about menu items and made some good suggestions that we enjoyed! Drinks: we had the whiskey barrel, blueberry mojito, and passion fruit Long Island. If you like sweet cocktails then the blueberry mojito is for you. It was more sweet than alcoholic, tastes like juice. The passion fruit Long Island was much better. It had a good balance of flavor and alcohol. My friend enjoyed her whiskey barrel. Food: happy to see the portions haven't changed much and still match the price points! We started with the mango habanero wings and sweet chili shrimp: both were great. For entree I had the whole lobster medley which came with shrimp, mussels, scallops, and linguine. It came out hot and fresh and the sauce that's on it is to die for! Yum! The oxtail mac and cheese was really good too. The oxtail was tender and flavorful and the mac and cheese was very creamy/cheesy! Didn't try my friend's stuffed salmon (stuffed with crab meat) and shrimp but she ate every bit of it so that tells me all I need to know.
