Our servicer ensured that he provided exceptional service for my family of five. We were there to celebrate my daughter's 7th birthday and she left feeling great. She said the fries were better than McDonalds and she was treated like a princess

Hidden gem in Valley Stream. Parking is a bit tight, but we got lucky to find a place across the street. Street is quite busy, being on central at rush hour. We found two seats at the bar. The placed filled up quickly. Bartending service was great. Happy hour went until 7 pm, and the drinks were not watered down. I went for a Long Island ice tea.. Bartenders had good energy, making sure we enjoyed the experience. A DJ showed up and filled the room with some classics... I grabbed a burger and fries as we came for the drinks and it was pretty good. I would consider dropping by again.

From the time you step into the building, the atmosphere gives off a peaceful feel with all the emerald green decor and R&B music. The staff was attentive and the food and cocktails were delicious. (My only qualm was that I wish the chicken wasn't fried so hard.) The menu was amazing in itself as it had pictures of each item. I went with my husband for brunch and I am ready to go back soon for lunch and dinner. Just make sure you make a reservation in advance.

a loud and disruptive table in the back completely ruined the experience.

Very disappointed with my visit today. I brought two friends from out of the country because I've always enjoyed this cute local spot. While the food and service were good, a loud and disruptive table in the back completely ruined the experience--yelling, cursing, and being inconsiderate. Even after a polite request to lower their voices, the behavior continued. I've never felt uncomfortable here before, but today was embarrassing and not the welcoming experience I hoped to give my friends.

I really enjoyed brunch here. This is located right next to the CVS. Parking is on the street, but not hard to find a spot. When you come in your are greeted by the hostess and there is a waiting area if needed. The place is not big but you don't feel cramped. We sat on one the hightop tables. When you make a reservation you will be told what table you reserved. The hightops are close to the bar but there is good enough space between tables. The seats are also comfortable. Seating is for 90 minutes, which makes sense since this is a popular brunch spot. Our waitress was Ashley she was nice and helped us choose the drinks. The food, drinks, and the ambiance are the stars of this place. Their signature chicken wings are really good and they give you enough to share. They were fried to a good crisp and had the right amount of glaze. Not too saucy that it would be messy. The calamari was great as well and was battered perfectly. I ordered the creme rules french toast and it was a good portion. Couldn't finish the whole thing. I also ordered the bacon on the side. It was crispy and they give you enough that you can share. My friends enjoyed their chicken and waffles. The drinks are just as good. They are flavorful and strong. They are worth the price. You really don't need more than 2. I had the espresso martini and it was delicious. My friends had the mimosas and they really enjoyed it. Food came out hot and fresh. Didn't have to wait long for it and we also didn't feel rushed, given the 90 minute time limit. The music was really good. They played good soca and reggae tunes. The music wasn't too loud, which I liked. This is a nice date spot and brunch spot with friends. I will most definitely be coming back.

I've been here on two occasions. One with my family to eat dinner and another with a friend for brunch. You definitely want to make reservations for brunch because it gets busy. In terms of food, it was just ok. It came out a bit cold but I did enjoy the wings. Definitely a place to sit at the bar and grab drinks. Our bartender Marley was really friendly and engaging.

This place is a total vibe. The food, music, artwork, everything is for the culture (Caribbean included). Drinks are fire, food is not healthy but oh so good. The wings, drinks, and blackened salmon are all delicious. Not a bad taste in the place. Service was top notch too. Can't wait to go back. Only ding is the place is a bit tight and I'm a big back.

Went to 32 North with my bestie for dinner before a concert. A lot of other people going to the concert had the same idea so the wait time was long but 100% worth it! This was the first time going there and I honestly can't wait until the next. The food was absolutely amazing! The inside is small but holds a decent amount of people, there is also a DJ section and there was a DJ there playing some good chunes! Now, for the food! We ordered the Biscuit and Gravys as our app. It comes with three bisuits so its enough for two. The gravy was so flavorful and rich and the biscuit was fluffy. My friend ordered the Salmon and mash potatoes and the salmon had great seasoning, the mash was creamy and the veggies were roasted perfectly. I ordered the shrimp and grits and im sooo glad i did.. the gravy from the shrimp mixed with the grits was amazing.. i cleaned my plate and almost forgot to offer my friend some lol The drinks were also tasty. I got a Lychee martini and they blended the lychee in the drink which gave you a taste of the fruit in every sip. I really enjoyed my time at 32 North!

This was my first time at this establishment. On Tuesday's it happy hour all day. The anesthetics are nice but it's small and can get crowded. I sat by the bar and was served right away. Gio is a awesome bartender good vides. I ordered red wine (Bartenura) Gio poured me a small glass so I can taste it first. Food I ordered the steak quesadilla. The service was great the food was good nice and hot alot of flavor.

Reservations are a must! They were turning people away because they were fully booked. The Mac and cheese was good. It was cooked nicely, wasn't dry, and was cheesy. The shrimp and grits said it was jerk but wasn't anything jerk about it. It didn't have any spice but was still really good. The chicken was crispy. The mimosas were good; they weren't shy with the champagne. However, they do not tell you that flavors are extra price. Gratuity is already included. They play music but the music isn't too loud; you can still talk and hear each other.

After hearing about this place for a while, my friend and I decided to come try for dinner and it was great! The decor and music definitely is a vibe we enjoyed. I got the burger with fries and my friend got the mac and cheese with oxtail. We both tried each and they were both delicious! Food also came out pretty quickly and our server was good as well. Overall we both had a good time and agreed we needed to come back for brunch!

My friends and I were in the area and made last minute reservations for brunch. When we arrived the foyer was packed with customers waiting to be seated. The foyer is a bit on the narrow side so it seemed more packed than it really was. Our reservation was for 3:45pm and we were seated at 4:15pm. The hostess was informative and apologetic about the wait. It was due to the rain and a bunch of large parties. The restaurant is also on the smaller side. As you entered the music is booming and the crowd is lively. There is a bar with about ten seats and enough tables to accommodate 40-50 ppl. Could be more but the point I'm trying to make is it's not a huge space. We were seated at a high top table and I noticed a sign that said 90 min time limit for the table. I also went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was super spacious and clean. Once seated a few minutes later our server Dwayne came over to take our order. We told him we were on a tight schedule and he understood the assignment. We placed our order and only had to wait about 15 mins before the food started coming out. We ordered the calamari, mac and cheese added oxtail, Baileys chicken and waffles, shrimp tempura, honey garlic wings and a bottle of still water. The food was super delicious. The calamari was crispy and the sauce that came with it was sooo good. It was like a cross between cocktail and chili sauce. The mac was creamy with the perfect crust and the tender oxtail was chefs kiss. I usually don't like chicken and waffles cause the waffle is usually flavorless and cold. But 32 North cracked the code. Dare I say it's one of the best waffles I've had in my life. Nice and fluffy and the infused Baileys just took the flavor profile up so many notches. The fried chicken that came with the waffles complimented them just right. The honey garlic wings fried to perfection, intentionally seasoned and evenly coated. The shrimp tempura was the only item that was mid. It wasn't horrible just not memorable like the rest of the items we ordered. The whole time I'm eating I'm like I'll for sure be returning. There is a twenty percent gratuity automatically added for parties of 2 or more. But even with the automatic gratuity our bill was less than $200. I definitely recommend.

Walked in on a Friday night around 7pm, no reservations, bar was full. Was seated at a high top table behind the bar. The restaurant is small, dark, intimate, nice decor. The food is delicious, large portions. Shrimp & grits was very tasty , grits were the perfect consistency. Mac & cheese was very cheesy. I didn't love my cocktail, the bartender was great, very friendly, and he switched it for me. I heard the red velvet chicken and waffles are amazing, definitely a spot I will go back to.

The first encounter happened awhile ago. I told the waiter that I didn't want lumps in my grits at the time of ordering. He came back and I told him about the lump in the grits. He says there's only one and walked off. The problem with lumps is, I don't eat grits with lumps and I'm not going to pay for lumps going out to eat. Today 11/18 I ordered an egg white veggie omelette with turkey bacon. It was not clear to me that the bacon would be cut up inside the omelette. While I'm trying to ask about the bacon he walks off and then comes back. Takes an ink pin and points to the bacon less than inches away from the egg. I understand that the chef has to use their hands dealing with the food but for the waiter to bring the food and use a foreign object let alone his finger over my freaking food is totally unacceptable and won't be tolerated. I WAS LIVID and for him failing to comprehend that his actions weren't normal, is outrageous. He stood there trying to play it off by saying he did nothing wrong and he just pointed at the food trying to hid the ink pen and failing to take accountability provoking the situation. All he had to say was that it was cut up inside of the omelette. It seems like the last three times I came, I was being placed in this guys section. I had the tea experience with Black Velvet and it was just what I needed. I'll admit that the licorice and peppermint were very faint, but it was still a tasty tea and sharing a large pot with my partner, we finished the whole thing. My MIL loved her ginger peach tea, and my friends each enjoyed theirs, one getting his go-to peppermint and the other trying the red raspberry and remarking in how pleased she was with her choice. Lesson learned- if you come here and DON'T get tea (with the adorable teapot, teacup and saucer, all charmingly mismatched) you're doing it wrong. Because I'm weird, I just ordered the Irish soda bread with a dish of whipped cream as a "light" breakfast, and I appreciated that the server humored me to the fullest. My partner had a blueberry muffin that he was super pleased with, probably his favorite that he's found in the area so far. My MIL unabashedly devoured her chicken salad sandwich and the potato salad it came with - usually she's picky so that's quite the endorsement. The pancakes are also very good: fluffy, tasty, and great for a weekend breakfast or brunch. One small thing that would make the experience even better is hot syrup. Warm syrup with those pancakes would take them to the next level. Service can be hit or miss depending on the day. On a previous visit, we had a server who dropped off the food and then basically disappeared until it was time for the check, which was disappointing. On our most recent visit, though, our server was the complete opposite: very attentive, friendly, and professional. It really made a difference in how much we enjoyed the meal. When we arrived this time, there was a line, but since there were only two of us and a table had just opened up, we were seated right away. That was a nice surprise and helped start the visit on a good note. All in all, Floral Park Diner is a nice local place, especially for breakfast or brunch. The food is good diner fare, some dishes shine more than others, and when the service is "on," it's a very pleasant experience.
