On Thursday (04.02.26) it was a random date night! Which are the best :)! Also, it's been a while since I've been here. For the appetizer, we ordered Philly Cheesesteak Rolls with cheese sauce and it was deliciousssssss!!!! For our main course we got a Bourbon Bacon Burger (added egg) with truffle fries and the Carne Asada Tacos. The burger and truffle fries was so flavorable, can't wait to have that again! To be honest, there was something missing in the carne asada so it tasted okay. Not only did we enjoy ourselves, but there was also a sip and paint with Bluemoon the same day we were there. That was a pretty cool little event! First time doing one! The hostess Gwen gave us two Bluemoon glasses and we painted them while we ate. I can definitely say I'm no artist but I tried my best lol! December 2025. I attended a Christmas party here in mid December. It included open bar and quite a few appetizers. The food was decent and the staff was pretty attentive. I've never gone just to sit down and have a meal.......but I probably will when in the area. Came to this restaurant with a friend before going to the movie theater. The food here was average--nothing terrible, but nothing great either--and the service was just okay. What really ruined the experience was a mouse repeatedly running across the floor and between tables. When we brought it to our waitress's attention, her response was simply, "oh sorry about that," with no real concern or follow-up. Unfortunately, that made it hard to feel comfortable staying or wanting to come back. Even with the mouse running around we were waiting 10 plus minutes after finishing our meal before we got up to request the check so we didn't have to sit with the mouse any longer. Great place to watch your favorite sports team while having a couple beers and eating some wings. The food here is just your average bar food, but they give you a lot with your order. Another fairly typical place with a large but not overly impressive beer menu and fun sounding menu. Avoid drinks from the bar we actually had to send ours back. Flavorless and tasted watered down. Visited with my daughter on 1/10 for lunch. Never been here before. Many times at the Wantagh location because it's closer to my home. I had a bacon cheeseburger with no bun and a side salad and my daughter had Buffalo Chicken egg rolls (I think). My daughter said a little too much Bleu Cheese flavor in her dish, but with the price of Bleu Cheese, not many people are complaining about "too much" of it. Drinks were great too. The ambiance here is a lot nicer than Wantagh. Much lighter inside and more of a friendly neighborhood Pub feeling. Served Liana was very friendly with great knowledge of the menu. This place is mid and shady af, the bartenders will offer shots and drinks as if it's on the house and add it to your tab later! The bartender outside this evening made drinks that we didn't ask for and poured shots as if they were giving them out to patrons without us asking and put it in front of us, then added it to the bill. What is that? Avoid this place. There's plenty other good food options in the area that won't try to get more money out of you. I wish Il Pozzo didn't close down across the street. I've eaten at Craft a few times and they never disappoint. The menu is extensive for a bar restaurant. This time the specials were Irish favorites in honor of St. Patrick's Day. The Irish nachos were excellent and I enjoyed my corned beef sandwich. I traditionally sit at the bar for lunch where the service is always excellent. I apologize that I didn't remember a name but each one is professional and friendly. If I were to open a bar, they would be the example I would use. Located a couple blocks away from the Lynbrook LIRR Station, Craft Kitch & Tap House is a perfect after work happy hour neighborhood pub. Offering both an indoor and outdoor space, they offer a wide variety of beers on tap (or bottled/canned) as well as heart bar foods. Drink wise I went for one of their specialty cocktails - The Vinny D (Stoli Raspberry Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Lemonade and Iced Tea). The bartender did a great job of making sure that the drink was well balanced and not too sweet which could have easily been the case given the ingredients. Food wise we ordered a smorgasbord of appetizes - chicken potstickers, handcrafted mac and cheese bites, a craft flat bread and the Bavarian style pretzel. Truth be told, I wasn't expecting anything but your typical bar/pub level food but I was pleasantly surprised as everything was better than expected. The potstickers were served on a bed of noodles and the potstickers themselves had a well-seasoned filling. The cheese blend for the mac and cheese wasn't your usual bland cheese that tastes like it came from a packet but tasted like a genuine medley of cheese while the outer crust offered a nice crunch for texture. The flat bread was easily my favorite bite of the night. Fig jam coupled with prosciutto atop mozzarella cheese and drizzle with truffle oil was just perfection. I couldn't stop eating it. Last but not least, the pretzel was crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. We enjoyed both the cheese sauce and the mustard as accompaniments for the salty treat. All in all, a really positive experience that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a spot to eat/drink in Lynbrook. read more

I've had this place on my list of restaurants to visit for some time and finally made it in one Sunday for brunch. The place was fairly empty with only a few people outside and one family inside. We were seated immediately and our waitress was super nice. We ordered the French toast and burgers with sweet potato tater tots. Everything was really good but my favorite was the French toast. I love the experience outdoors here. It can get a little crowded inside at times (which shows how popular it can get). But the outdoor area is really lovely. It's a typical bar so you can't be afraid to get attention on a super busy weekend night. But I've generally found the staff to be pretty nice. The clinching lure was that Tuesdays happen to be trivia night. SOLD! The GOOD: --food & price--The apps are surprisingly tasty. There's a $7 before 7pm happy hour deal, so I went a little crazy ordering for the table. I ordered the Mediterranean plate, chicken quesadilla and the loaded nacho tots that seem to be a dish they're known for. The latter two plates are great bar food plates. 4/5 for the kind of fare. --drinks-- I also enjoyed the house craft ale on tap. Happy Hour winning! The BAD: --one food dish-- The Mediterranean plate is a hard pass. The olives were the best part. A sorry showing of babaganoush and forgettable hummus. --ambience-- Pretty dead on a Tuesday night. Even trivia didn't bring the crowds. Not that I want to be shouting on a school night, but it feels ghostly when the lights are killed on a whole section of the establishment. The UGLY: --trivia-- Trivia is rigged! Super easy questions and dubious phone checkers. Because the questions are so easy, there's supposed to be fast turnaround of answers to raise the competition level, but the time limit was hardly enforced. But that's a review for the trivia company... --food aftermath--one of my mates had a bad reaction to the food the next day. Considering it was the 2017 NBA finals Craft Kitchen and Taphouse in Lynbrook, or Craftlynbook as they're fondly called was pleasantly quiet. Well, except for the trains that passed every fifteen minutes or so. Located under the Lynbrook LIRR track, if you're in the patio prepare to occasionally stop talk or shout. It was very dark on the inside, maybe they're going for romantic but very "chill" on the patio. Staff is very cool, very very cool. I observed several "what's up homie?" interactions, which makes me believe I've found the Cheers of Lynbrook. Most regulars who came in got a good natured slap on the back with hugs and kisses for the ladies. Patrons were also very cool with me. I enjoyed my little hangout and will definitely be back. I found them on IG and whoever handles their page does a hell of a job with their promotions. For my fifth star I'll have to try the tacos I've heard so much about. Great food, great tap beer. Not for underaged crowd. They have a rule at this place were you have to be 23+, no tank tops, no baggie jeans. Theyre trying to keep the trashy kids out of this establishment which I respect. I had the bourbon bacon burger, the bloomim onion, and the craft beer. Bourbon Bacon Burger This burger is great! Lots of flavor, served with a side of fries. The bourbon bacon sauce is worth a try if you haven't had it before. Its like a spicy bbq sauce. Bloomin Onion This thing is huge. It's funny how I get roped into choosing dinner almost every weekend with my buddies. Maybe it's my constant Yelping that puts their trust in me, but I'm cool with it, for the most part. It keeps me away from Applebee's and gives me the opportunity to try awesome spots like Craft Kitchen & Taphouse. This past Friday was my first trip here and it most surely shall not be my last. It's semi-hidden in Lynbrook behind the elevated train tracks and that gave it a secluded feel at first. When we entered, it was anything but. A large open room complete with full bar and tons of brews on tap along with plenty of tables, TVs, and some more seating separated by a wall. It felt rustic, yet contemporary. Spacious yet comfortable. Sports bar, yet chic dining spot. Things like that. We sat facing the barrage of boob tubes above the bar to watch our respective teams hockey it up. To start, there was beer involved, of course. Grimm on tap (Zap DIPA) was a crisp beginning to the meal. The menu of beers is pretty extensive so it's a place worthy of spending a full sporting event trying out a few. The menu has a plethora of classic, crazy, and cool appetizers. We kept it basic with a Bavarian Pretzel. Bigger than my head (and I have a big head) with a crisp outside and fluffy interior. Creamy cheese sauce accompanied it. The rest of the menu had awesome-sounding burgers, sausages, wraps, salads, grilled cheeses, and then some. I couldn't say no to the cow and went for the bourbon bacon burger. My buddy had the piglet grilled cheese. Mine was bacon crusted with cheddar cheese, fried pickles, and jalapeño BBQ sauce. The meat was thick and juicy, with the toppings creating a rich but tasty concoction. It didn't hit on all cylinders, but basically did the trick. The ton of fresh cut fries on the side were a nice addition. For my buddy, they messed up and brought him the wrong grilled cheese. No harm as they took it back and five minutes later, brought the correct one with a message from the manager that his next round was on the house. That's some quality service. So was the staff in general as they checked on us throughout the meal and refilled our waters promptly. Pricing was also pretty decent. Overall, Craft Kitchen & Taphouse may quickly become a new place for me to grab some grub and spend a cozy time watching "the game." I can't forget to mention the beer garden outside which will be a great addition in the warmer months. There wasn't much to say negatively, and even better, my buddy said I did it again: another good usage of Yelp in finding an awesome place to eat, drink, and be merry. read more

Came on a weeknight and seated right away. Automatically got my stars since they carried a pumpkin beer on draft! Appetizer: must have the pretzel! Huge, great to share, 3 different dips. The burger was perfect! We've been a bit disappointed with the past few burgers we've tried but this place knocked it out of the park. The patty had plenty of flavor and the buns were toasted nicely. The bacon was... well it was bacon, you cant go wrong with it! The fried onion was 10x bigger than we anticipated. It must've been 6 onions in that dish. We ended bringing it home because we couldn't finish. The bar tender was incredibly knowledgable of all his beers on tap! He was extremely engaging and made us feel like we were long time customers here with how comfortable he made us feel. He was able to gauge us and gave some wonderful recommendations.
