Small local Long Beach Bar & Restaurant with bands during the Summer. Fun crowd with a mix of young & old, chill & wild people. Def good people watching and very good sound system for the bands. I saw Reggae Artist Rik Jam & Dalwayne, straight from Kingston Jamaica, opening for IRIESpect, a Long Island Reggae Band - all great, especially Rik Jam! The vibes were great & admission was free! read more

Super fun bar!! Live music on saturdays and affordable drinks. They will yell at you though if they think you're throwing stuff even if your not which is annoying, but great vibes other than that. Cover at the door but not too expensive read more

Very mediocre food but a good hangout environment. The live bands always crush it on the weekends. Nothing spectacular but a 3 star rating felt too harsh. read more

Still got it. Plenary of eye candy. Great vibe. I'm getting older but this place doesn't change... outside of the amount of Surfsides they dish out. read more

Tom is the best! Every drink was amazing! He must be one of the best bartenders in Long Beach. Absolutely recommend every day of the week! The Inn is the best. read more

We only knew of this place as being a crowded, busy watering hole since the last time we were here, it was Irish Day, which is a HUGE, loud, partying event in this part of town and The Inn was wall-to-wall filled with revelers then. At this visit, we had the whole 2-floor restaurant to ourselves. Service was slow but friendly. A few people came in later & you could tell that The Inn is a comfortable, neighborhood kind of place. Our meals of Chicken parmesan and mango shrimp tacos were excellent. We are glad that The Inn has multiple personalities and we will be back for its excellent food. read more

Came here to celebrate a friend's bday. It was $60 a head for open bar. As people paid they were given bracelets. I am sober. The management wouldn't let me up without paying the $60. I had to pay $60 to drink water so I could wish my friend happy bday. Terrible. read more

If I can give this place 0 stars I would...they always charge you extra and try to be sly about it. The town of Long Beach needs to close this place, the bouncers will also assault you. read more

Fell in here to listen to a band. We were hungry. The menu looked good so we ordered. Lobster roll- was good- a little too shredded and a bit too much mayo but was def decent. Decent roll. Good fries. Steak tidbits on garlic bread with mozzarella cheese. Yummy delicious. Was my favorite choice. Fish tacos. Whiting broiled. Very good but could have used lime or something because there wasn't enough taste. I was putting on any sauce I was able to find within my reach. Good service. Good music. read more

Yelp says I need to give a star so I gave 1, meaning 0 stars. Bartender is rude. Dirty place. Food stinks go somewhere else for a better time and even better service. Very sad. read more

Good place but the bands needs to not be around on a Saturday. I'm not a fan and neither are a lot of others

Best boneless wings around!! Service is always excellent. Favorite spot in LB to watch football on a Sunday afternoon.

The service was sub par to say the least. To begin with our dinner we were treated with a soda shower as the waitress spilled coke all over the table, accident happen yes, but they then proceeded to mess up orders, and had no mushrooms. Food is pretty good thought no complains in that department and I have been here a few times before and the service was good all prior times. Maybe it's new owners or new hires but this shouldn't happen. read more

If I could leave less than one star, I would. This place is absolutely disgusting. My bf is here from out of town visiting me for a few days. He was looking forward to watching the ufc fights when he was literally pushed to the ground and punched in the face by one of the bouncers. DO NOT go here. Now he has a bloody black eye and is looking to press charges. Good luck here if you're showing a non-New York id read more

Thursday Raw Bar night is FANTASTIC. We love sitting around the large square bar so everyone can talk while we enjoy the amazing Sea food specials. I must say the mussels are the way to go!. Extra Garlic Bread...YES, please. For the last 2 Thursdays Christie (I hope I spelled the name correctly) has been our bartender and she was 10 on a 10 scale. I will follow this bartender where ever she goes. She is friendly, and attentive... has the whole bar taken care of, and does clean up in her spare time. Amazing Happy Hour Option if you are in the West End. read more

It had been some time since I tried the food at The Inn. I am local and really knew it as a bar with reasonable food. A friend had mentioned that their wings were great so, after not being able to order from 2 restaurants, I gave them a shot for delivery. I was really impressed. The Inn somehow figured out how to send a delivery that included fries and onion rings and get it to us hot and crisp. Anyone who has ordered food knows that soggy fries and oily fried food are the norm with delivery. Beyond that the food was really good. Everyone in my group had a positive comment about their meals. I heard "I would go back just to get the cobb salad". I heard "The steak tidbits were great." By the way, the wings were good but in truth the rest of the food was better. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos. They did make a mistake and send a flour tortilla instead of the corn that I ordered but really my food was excellent. Great job by The Inn. They converted me to a customer that will definitely look to them as a first choice in the future. read more

Bouncers did not let my two black friends in who grabbed our cover fees and let a bunch of white girls in in front of us who cut the line....really upsetting to see how aggressive they were and how their tone changed between two groups of friends. Happy 4th lol read more

The inn is a great local spot in Long Beach! Ordered buffalo wings and pesto rigatoni tonight! We chose take out but the bar area was packed. Well my Ice was cold.... That's about where the good part ends. We had just wanted to pop in for something quick before hitting the beach for an summer evening concert and thought The Inn would be a good fast choice.... Wrong. Our order was simple enough, the fried calamari was absolutely frozen and had the consistency of a dry rubber band and the flavor that I'm having a hard time describing.... Something along the lines of iodine flavored cardboard? The steak sandwich which in my opinion is hard to mess up was just that messed up. Instead of slices of steak on a roll, it was two hunks of steak, overcooked, touch and not easy to bite into...Flavorless and extremely tough. On a saving grace note our waitress was polite and attentive so she saved a star for the place. Overall not a good choice if your looking for a quick bar/pub style bite. There's definitely better choices in LB if that's what you're in the mood for. read more

Still the best bar food in the West End, or quite possibly all of Long Beach in my opinion. The Inn never disappoints if you're looking for a solid burger or even some tasty boneless buffalo wings. The wait staff is always exceptionally pleasant and they're great with accommodating children if you sit upstairs. My family (dad, uncle, husband) all love going to the Inn and sitting at the bar. It's definitely their preferred spot for a few afternoon drinks. read more

Best wings in Long Beach.... there I said it! Miss the live music can't wait for Covid to end!

When the weather starts to perk up, so do the parties. Long Beach is my summer go-to spot, and I usually hang out at the same places when I'm in the area, so on this trip it was nice to branch out from the norm and party down with the locals. I really love that this bar has an actual stage, and the band that was playing that night, 3am Tokyo(??) was really good. They did great pop-rock covers and did a mixed power hour. Like older establishments, the layout can be a bit odd, especially in this case where to walk to the back to visit the restrooms you kinda have to cut in the middle of the dance/floor/at least where people are hanging out because there's a place to set your drinks down. The bar didn't seem to have any coat hooks under the ledge, which we were a bit miffed about since the weather isn't warm enough to forego a jacket. In addition, the taps for the bar are only on one side (it's a square shape with floor-to-ceiling middle with the registers), so I couldn't see what beer they had on tap from one side. The selection ended up not being much and in the spirit of brevity and trying not to waste anyones time, I ordered hastily and well, what I got was medicority. read more

do NOT waste your time or money going to this overrated place. Talk about nasty, disrespectful and terribly managed. I have never been so disrespected my entire life growing up in this town. As soon as the summer and tourists arrive, the bouncers and managers at this location become absolute dirt bags! I was completely sober and called names and words you couldn't even imagine because my friends were wearing ripped jeans! can you imagine. God forbid you walk into this place with ripped jeans on a summer night. beware DO NOT go here. read more

What's not to like about the Inn! Just a friendly neighborhood bar that features great cover bands, awesome bartenders(espec. Anthony & Ashley)and good clientele, I always gravitate towards the main bar in the front but it's nice that they have the back bar and also an upstairs bar more seating, the flat screens are all over for your favorite games and the food is actually pretty decent as well, summertime is always nice where everybody & anybody is sitting outside people watching, The Inn has been around for years and I'm sure they will last my lifetime serving the community fine food, spirits and smiling faces abound:) read more

So. Apparently according to the bouncer. On super bowl Sunday the kitchen is CLOSED?!!! every year!! We go and order TO GO around $500 worth of food and then leave. The bouncer wouldn't let us in. He said "$35 dollars". We told him we were ordering food to go. He then replied "kitchen is closed". I was looking at my wAtch. So on SUPERBOWL SUNDAY your kitchen is closed at 5pm.. he then replied "private party" So good job. You lost THE INN at least $500. Good job. read more

As far as atmosphere it's your typical bar but nice and spacious. I'm not your typical bar girl so maybe I'm going to give a biased review. The only reason I frequent this place is for the "Seafood Thursdays". They have $.99 oysters, clams shrimp, and they also have $5.99 mussel bowls, and clam bowls. Last but not least $3 miller lights. HOW CAN YOU BEAT ALL OF THAT? Especially when the seafood is delicious and you can order as much as you want. It's FABULOUS! read more

Question: what do you expect when you go to a two story bar, in a beach town, on a weekend? Answer: drunk college kids, watered down drinks, arrogant locals in a pack, me...judging you things i've learned at the inn: 1. don't turn your back on the ocean. or the irish 2. If I fall walking UP the stairs, my friends will step over me and call me a jack ass 3. If I drop my beer whilst pete moss and the fertilzers are playing, they will buy me a new one 4. If my homegirl goes to the inn wearing a romper, a burger king crown and missing a tooth - even she will get hit on. If you go to this joint mid season with the expectation that you're going somewhere people will get out of your way so you can get to the bar for your fancy martini or glass of champagne, and the waitress will give you a 5 star meal, you're gona be sorely disappointed. if you're down with a live band, a DJ, and a crew of: extra drunk, middle drunk and on their way to getting drunk chicken heads and frat boys, hit the inn up. Its exactly what you would think it is. Leave your pride at the door and stick to the beer unless you hit the back bar and the irish dude is working (if you're nice to him, he has a heavy hand). Their happy hour and drink specials are good (yea so if you want to get drunk and bloated on 20 bucks, hit this spot up on sundays for 1.99 buds) in the fall and winter when the idiot beach crowd has gone back to their respective towns in new jersey and staten island, mosey on down to watch college football, regular football, and eat millions upon millions of wings. I've never been here without pregaming, and don't think I'd be able to deal with it if I wasn't already saucing. **not for the uptight patron** read more

As far as the bar scene...they crank the music so unbelievably loud, you can't hear anybody! Found out from a study that they do this because you drink more when you can't talk to people! Out of all the bars in long Beach, they are 1 of 2 places that charge a 10$ cover even when there's no band! The staff are arrogant, obnoxious a$$ holes! As far as the food...it's disgusting bar food...wouldn't feed it to my dog! They have also allowed people to smoke in there even though it's been banned in bars for years! hope this place rots...what a sh!thole! UPDATE- happened to go in here again tonight as it just opened after hurricane sandy...not much has changed...a$$hole security, so loud you cannot talk to any1 without screaming, and obnoxious bartenders! Only good news was they didn't try to chrage me 10$ to get in! Seriously, what a sh!thole...why do people come to this place!!! Loud, obnoxious place with asshole employees! Oh, and they STILL let people smoke in their bar!!! FU@K the INN!!!!! read more

I must say, I've spend most of my summers in Long Beach and The Inn is the only bar I will never get sick of! I am a huge fan of the live band they have performing on the weekends. The crowd is very laid back, everyone is out to have a good time. I love it when the bartenders let stacks of napkins go flying :) As a restaurant, I've never eaten here except during the summer for their infamous taco tuesday nights... they weren't that great... but I went to hang out, not for the food, which I'm sure is why a majority of people go. Your better off saving your money for drinks and come here for the live band on the weekends! read more

Why I like this place . A Its a bar in a central location in Long Beach and the beer is always cold when riding threw on my Harley . B Staff is always attentive and I like the basic bar food they serve. The raw bar is also quality seafood and goes great with a cold beer on a nice day or night. C I always find a spot for my Harley in front of the bar and sit on the outside seating to watch the Long Beach scene go by. Worth a visit to many unwashed have expected more go hang out in Williamsburg and smell things like hipsters . read more
