Had an amazing breakfast experience at The Pantry in Rockville Centre this morning. Stopped in for a quick bite with my dad and ended up having one of the most comforting breakfasts I've had in a while. The hospitality was top tier from the moment we walked in. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes with powdered sugar, sausage links, eggs with cheese, and a fresh-squeezed orange juice -- and everything was absolutely delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and perfectly sweet, the eggs and sausage were cooked just right, and the fresh orange juice was the perfect touch to tie it all together. If you're in Rockville Centre and looking for a classic breakfast spot with great food and even better service, The Pantry is definitely the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back.

3.5 stars I attended on a night that may not be the best to judge true service as it was a comedy night. Pretty extensive menu, based on photos it seems brunch is very popular. We had the buffalo cauliflower and the Chicken Milanese, very heavily dressed for my liking. Parking lot to the side and in the back.

Looking for brunch all day everyday. Pantry has entree meals that include either a glass of mimosa, Bellini or Bloody Mary. Everything from the burgers to the French toast are delicious if you don't want brunch the offer a regular menu as well. Great place for family and friends and the service is always moving quickly. It gives the nostalgic diner vibes which is great since a lot know spots have closed down in the NY area.

Best Diner in Long Island by a mile. I'd say maybe anywhere. Foods always fresh. Decor and vibes always great. Staff is always friendly, courteous and on point. Pretty much anything on the menu is absolutely delicious! And if it isn't to your liking they will fix it. My absolute favorite place, anytime of the day or night.

The Mac n Cheese here is the best I've ever had. The cheese pull was immaculate. I ordered the chicken sandwich. Fried chicken was seasoned really well. All of the food felt fresh. Service was OK however it was extremely busy when I went so it's understandable. The restaurant seems like a nice stable in the community. They say they are a diner but I will say the food here is better than diner quality. Don't let the negative reviews here fool you! Try it out! You won't be disappointed

Just to start the food was soo good! Everyone liked their dishes. However the service was so slow, even when it got less crowded everything was still a wait. However the waitress we had was amazing and she was so nice.

I came with a group of friends back in December 2025. The ambiance was really cute, definitely looked like more than a diner. And the food was really good! I expected a bit more from the carrot cake pancakes, and I didn't really fancy the egg scramble with salmon, but overall the food and service was good and I'd be back to try some of the things my friends got. They had this one appetizer I think was oxtail balls or something like that, it was so good.

My plus one suggested that we come to The Pantry in Rockville Center NY, I quickly assented after my research. When we arrived I saw a huge parking lot with ample parking, eith two sides to enter. Walking into this massive dining room, you see dining to the right and left. The bar and check out are on the left side as you enter and the maître d' was directly at the entrance across from the check out counter. She pleasantly greeted us with a smile and escorted us to our table. I saw that the dining room was extravagant and neat! The music was pumping sounds from Mariah Carey and various other artists. It was relaxing. The decorum was nothing less than elegant and beautiful with flowers hanging from the ceiling and pictures displayed on the walls, while the The Pantry's ambiance was upscale, patrons arrived dressed waaaay down, casual, and dressed up in church attire. The service at the beginning was prompt at the beginning, we had to ask three times for more time to look over the menu because we needed an understanding of the menu. My plus one had traditional French toast with bacon. She really enjoyed her meal without disappointment. I, on the other hand, had Challah French toast and turkey sausage patties. My French toast was cold but the sausages were hot. I was very disappointed. The interaction with out waiter seemed awkward at the beginning but after we ate I engaged him in conversation. It's amazing how a person opens up when you talk about a subject of knowledge. By our observation we saw that he is into Chakra. Really great conversation. We did have a very lengthy wait to receive our check. Our wait was so long that the half empty dining area were we sat was now full! If I come again, I would like to try another dish and hopefully it will be hot!

Tasty, scrumptious & excellent service! The Pantry is an absolutely beautiful spot to stop and eat. The staff's recommendations and excitement about the food brings joy to my ears and stomach! Looking forward to returning for brunch or dinner Thank you for the awesome meal!

Despite getting multiple recommendations for this place, I was hesitant to try it because of the reviews on line, but after yet another recommendation, i decided to try. My visit was at 6:45p on a Friday night and it was very busy (there was also a comedy show happening that night) but seating was fast. The menu was overwhelming with so many options that all sound good, but my final decision was the pork chop and grits that I swapped for cheese grits, we ordered spinach artichoke dip to share, and my friend got meatloaf and mashed potatoes. We also ordered drinks. My hawaiian mimosa was delicious and two gave me a nice buzz. The pork chop and grits were delicious, there was sausage gravy and bacon adding extra yum to every bite. And my friend enjoyed their meatloaf. The portions were huuuge and we were left w/ leftovers. Definitely coming back to try other menu items

Yesterday was my first time visiting The Pantry. My mom suggested it. She'd been for a dinner party once. So... Overall, the aesthetic of the place is nice. Mixed crowd both age and race. It's a spacious place with parking. Service: Was fast! Our waitress was pretty neutral. I won't mention her name( it's a popular hat) bc maybe she was just a lil tired... Food: 5/10. To be fair, it was my first time and I guess I didn't get their popular meal but it was average. Same for my drink. Nothing crazy. I had the chicken Caesar wrap with waffle fries and a guac for the table. My mom had the salmon. It was a great portion and cooked to perfection! I would return bc I see they have brunch AND Wray and his nephew is being served there as well. I'll come back with the girls for sure.

Sunday brunch! Had a phone reservation here the day before for a group of 10. We were about 5 mins late due to trying to find parking at the lot (it got very crowded), but they accommodated us right away and seated us in a large booth. Inside is very lively with an ambiant floral decor on the ceilings. The laminated menu is large and double-sided. We opted for the "Ox" burger and fries. It was delicious and we asked for it well done. The grilled onions were not bad and I loved chewing them. Our group got pancakes, the steak omelet, and the French toast. The portions were large but was enough for the plates to be cleaned by us. The highlights were the "2 for 1" specials for the mimosas: regular (orange juice), Hawaiian (pineapple juice instead), and the Mermaid. 2 would be about $17. They were strong and delicious. There's all day brunch at this spot and we were impressed at how quick the food came out. We were in by 11:05am, and out by 12pm, with plenty of time to chat after we ate. Great management as it helped all of us carry on with our days!

This spot has one of my favorite fries, but what really does it for me is the dipping sauces. The garlic mayo and pineapple sesame are what you need to get when ordering their 3 sauce medley. Use the 3rd sauce to get something that works for you, but don't just fall back on the ketchup. These fries deserve more than that. As per our servers recommendation, I got the #2. It had turkey, Brie, roasted peppers and garlic mayo. It was the most amazing pressed sandwich. Shout out for some amazing ciabatta bread. My husband got the brisket knish sandwich, and he was comforted by the heavy meal. The kids meal was just a legit as out meals. Coming with apple slices which definitely scored points with Bubs. If you want to eat a little lighter, the EGP Salad with caramelized d 'Anjou pears is fantastic. The first time I went here, I ordered their shrimp and grits. Simply put, it's delicious. I've been back a couple times just for that. On this visit, based off another Yelpers review, I decided to give the grilled cheese with the beef brisket a try. Sandwiched between two toasted and I want to say buttered (don't quote me on this) brioche sliced breads with Provolone cheese melted on the bottom half and cheddar oozing out on the top half is the perfectly tender and healthy serving of seasoned beef brisket. I had to eat it as soon as I got it to savor in the moment and experience it in its true form. Hot and cheesy. The two cheeses brought the sandwich together nicely creating a savory dance on your tongue. The cheese literally oozes out with eat bite. As good as it was, I know it will not be a frequent meal to grace my belly, because personally, it's just too much meat *for me*. Considering this, I ate the whole sandwich in one sitting. I'm not usually a brisket person, but I was willing to give this one a try. Cheese, meat, and bread, sign me up. It is a lot to eat as far as the meat is concerned, so if you're not a crazy meat eater, don't be surprised if you only have room to eat half if not one full slice. I also wanted to try their corn nuggets, which looks like fried corn bread but rolled into a ball, but they didn't have it that day. I left feeling a little deflated at that, but my belly was full. I doubt whether I would have been able to eat that along with my shrimp and grits. Note: the longer you wait to eat it, the Colder it gets and its not as good as the first couple of bites *IMO* When the mood hits, I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu.
