The food always been above the rest especially the breakfast now that it's been a total turnover it's such a change in the right direction

Came for brunch on weekday about 2 hours before closing (they close at 3:30pm). It's cute and cozy place which was clean and organized. Staff were friendly and overall attentive. Didn't feel rushed at all. The French toast came with strawberry and whipped cream. Asked for side of scrabbled egg white which were good. Guest got Baklava pancakes which were on the sweeter side but pancakes were big and moist. For drinks got the mimosas flight which was four different flavors of mimosas. Was good but green (apple flavor maybe) wasn't my flavor. Guest was able to switch flavor and replace apple with lavender and that was good. Overall, was cute brunch place. Such a great neighborhood spot for brunch! This has been on my list for forever and we finally stopped in a few days ago. The owners were there and were super kind, checking in on us and making sure we were taken care of. The entrees are MASSIVE! We tried a handful of different things and everything was delicious - from the corned beef hash to the wings to the smashed burger. They also have a great selection of coffees, which I loved. It does get busy so I would say to make a reservation. Overall, a great brunch spot that I recommend. read more

Came here yesterday for the second time in less than 10 days. The first time I had the Hungry Farmer Skillet. It was absolutely delicious!!...but come on an empty stomach when you order this bad boy!! The second time I ordered the equally delicious Eggs over easy with Applewood Bacon and Homefries. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the ambience is bright with a good vibe, the staff is very polite and friendly. I look forward to my next meal here. read more

This was my first time visiting Franklin & Phoebe. It was on my list of places to visit for a while but hadn't gotten around to it. I'm glad I finally made it there! When we arrived people were standing outside waiting. This was actually a good sign to me because good food is always worth a wait. After 20 minutes my children and I were seated. We had a burger, pancakes and a traditional egg and home fries platter. We all enjoyed our food. It came out very quickly for the amount of customers there. Even picky son had zero complaints. He ate his whole triple smash burger! I tried his steak fries which were also delicious. My daughter's pancakes were flaky and light. I especially loved the sausage that came with my meal. Mimosa was a perfect touch to the meal. I didn't catch our servers name but she was great also. Glad we made it here and we will be back to try other dishes soon. read more

Breakfast at Franklin & Phoebe was excellent. My guests and I arrived around 2 PM, and there was no wait. The entire restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean, allowing us to sit down, view the menu, and order our food quickly. Our waitress was a sweetheart; she was both friendly and polite. I really appreciated the variety of food options, so many that it could please even the pickiest of eaters. I ordered The Fit Guru and the omelette was light and tasty. The Strawberry Kisses were on point, not too sweet, it had a nice flavor to them, which made it easy to want to devour them in one sitting. The place was very busy, but we were able to get in and sit down right away. The waitress was super friendly and we started off with iced coffees. We split the Greek fries as a starter. I thought that they were very good but they were definitely very greasy. I ended up going with the wedge salad with chicken on it. The salad itself was fine, but there was a lot of blue cheese dressing on it so I would definitely recommend getting the dressing on the side. The chicken on the salad was just meh. It was very thin chicken. Overall, it was very nice inside the restaurant like a mixture of a diner with a brunch place. read more

Went here with friend to have a quick meal. The restaurant is family owned and appears to be popular. 3 good sized dining areas in addition to a bar with seats. Friendly greeter (maybe owner???). Asked to sit at a booth but he ignore request and took us to a table at one of the dining areas because the booth people were just leaving. Ordered a Greek salad with grilled Chicken and a yogurt bowl with granola, Nutella, peanut butter, strawberries & bananas, coconut shavings and whipped cream. Had to wait awhile to get served and what was a long time for the orders to come out. The 3 stars rating was due to the slow service. Met a friend for breakfast yesterday(6/8/2026). Used to come here when it was The Alpine Restaurant, always a great meal then. Same owner, Teddy, with new name of Restaurant as Franklin & Phoebe Brunchery, great name being it's located on those two corner streets. We were both tempted by so many great menu selections, but we both opted for flatbreads. Great choice for both of us, delicious & plenty of leftovers to take home. I also had an ice coffee frappe, drank that quick because it was so good. Sweet waitress and Teddy had the place redone inside, so different from when it was The Alpine. My review is long overdue. I had the intention to post a review shortly after my dining experience, however I hadn't set aside the time to write a review as life has been on express mode. I had dined here once prior and was pleasantly impressed. I chose to have Brunch on Mother's Day with a relative. Unfortunately, due to planning difficulties, the person was not able to join Me. I had waited two hours for an available table, and did not want to have the time I waited, to be in vain, and so I decided to dine alone. The menu is expansive, many choices and variations, all freshly prepared and cooked. I ordered the French toast and scrambled eggs & apple juice. Perfectly cooked and presentation was lovely. Upon completion of enjoying my brunch, I requested the check. And much to my surprise, my waitress informed me that "your check has been taken care of" I was moved to tears. I inquired whom but was informed once more that my check was taken care of. I do Not know if it was a fellow patron or the owner. The kind gesture touched my heart and made my day. Franklin and Phoebe Brunchery is a quaint, feels like home, cute restaurant, quite popular , serves amazing food perfectly seasoned temperatured and easy on the pockets prices. We were able to be seated at a booth which gave us plenty of space. The waitresses had really good energy which is welcoming. I am a big fan of Scrambles. Not every diner carry scrambles. Scramble is basically a cheese omelette served on top of chopped up bacon and sausage all mixed together served in a frying pan This ensures that it stays hot. Franklin and Phoebe's version was substantial. They substituted the bread option I normally receive with a 1/4 waffle option which was a nice twist. They had a drink options outside or orange juice, grape fruit etc which if I had more time I would have tried if I had more time. My wife ordered the Whisky Barrel Apple pancakes. She says they were amazing. Our server was really nice. Although busy, she checked on us periodically to ensure we were taken care of. This was my first time to Franklin and Phoebe Brunchery and it will not be my last. I have not been here since the new owners took over this space and they did a great job renovating and refreshing the dining room. It's quite comfortable and inviting. We loved the menu offerings and it's a great place to go for breakfast or brunch. We ordered the. Traditional eggs benedict as well as scrambled eggs with homemade corned beef hash. Both were delicious and we would re-order them in the future although next time I want to try something different. I must point out the absolutely delicious hashbrowns that came with each dish. Normally I don't enjoy hashbrowns, but my mouth is already watering for the next time I can eat them there. read more

Finally made it to F&P for brunch and I'm so glad I did! It's located right on the corner with street parking available, which made it super convenient.I didn't get pictures of the food I was too excited to eat but I ordered the Spartan omelette and it was SO good. It comes with home fries and your choice of white or wheat toast. The omelette had sautéed fresh spinach, tomatoes, red onions, feta, and tzatziki sauce super flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also had the steak and eggs and wow... that steak was amazing. When we arrived we were greeted , but were not directed on what was happening. The man just walked away without saying anything. I asked the woman are we following him? She responded "I don't know, maybe" which I found rude. We ordered two iced coffees where they charge a $1 extra for any syrup/ flavor in it. However, on my omelette there was a long hair sitting on top of it and then at the end of my meal I noticed a short hair next to the garnish. Gross! I was very excited for this new brunch spot to open in the neighborhood! Food was pretty delicious! Pancakes are super fluffy and soft! There are plenty of options on the menu for everyone! Would definitely come back for brunch again! But, the iced coffee was very weak and tasted watered down. Service was also pretty good, the wait staff and servers were friendly and walked around to make sure everyone was happy. Only suggestion would be to mention long wait times when guests first arrive through the door. We were just standing in the corner for a while waiting for someone to tell us how long the wait would be. Atmosphere was nice. The inside is newly renovated and feels modern. This is probably my new go to brunch spot on Long Island! When my family and I visited, we were warmly greeted by the staff here. We loved how the menu items had a unique twist to traditional brunch food. I ordered the Baklava Butter Crumble Pancakes and loved how fluffy they were. Without the syrup it already had the prefect level of sweetness. I also tried some of the Biscuits & Crazee and The Spartan omelette. I can't say I ever went to the Alpine, but I was surely happy when this place popped up of nearby breakfast spots. Frankly, a destination breakfast spot is what this area needed especially after the loss of a couple of diners nearby. FPB is a looker - very modern and more of an upscale feel than most diners or nearby breakfast spots. Unfortunately many of the clientele didn't match the vibe with many looking like they just rolled out of bed still wearing their PJs, but hey, that's Long Island baby! The menu has everything you could expect from a brunch spot with all the crowd pleasing favorites - benedicts, pancakes, French toast, omelettes, etc.. We decided on the Chambrey omelette which had Canadian Bacon, Mushrooms, Roasted Red Peppers, Scallions and Goat Cheese. It was a tasty combo and I liked my crispy home fries with it, but one slice of toast felt a little skimpy. The Sunny Day Flatbread is a good sharable dish, but the addition of grilled potatoes (home fries) on top of the flat bread makes you wonder why the carb on carb action? The flatbread also felt pretty dense. To go with the food I had a very nicely made cappuccino, but they also have a full bar if you choose to make your brunch boozy. I though the service was very good and attentive. The food for the most part was diner style, but zhuzhed up a bit - then again in this Instagram age most diners are zhuzing it up as well. Great food and tastes super yummy! We were lucky and there was no wait at 11:30am on a Sunday for 7 of us. Everything looked clean and the bathroom even had a baby changer! Food took a long time to come out which is why 4 stars. The food was really good! Baklava pancake and the steak flatbread were our favorite! Decided to stop by for brunch and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is in a weird location and I've passed by many times not realizing it was a restaurant. I came today and throughly enjoyed my experience. I ordered the farmers skillet and it was so yummy. There is a lot of sausage and meat in it and it was very, very filling. The place was very busy so service was a tad slow and the place was very, very loud that I felt like I was screaming when talking to people across the table. Other than that, I really liked it. I finally checked out Franklin & Phoebe in Franklin Square and it definitely lived up to the hype. The vibe is what really stood out first it has that classic diner feel but done in a more modern, upscale way. I had the shrimp cannoli flatbread to start and it was so good perfectly balanced and full of flavor. For my main, I ordered the breakfast bowl and it was super filling and satisfying without being heavy. Everything tasted fresh and well thought out. The drinks were just as good. I had the strawberry coconut margarita which was really enjoyable not too sweet and very refreshing, and my friend ordered the espresso martini which was delicious and honestly tempting me to get one next time. The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without being overbearing, which always makes a big difference. Prices were very reasonable too brunch dishes averaged around $20 and cocktails were about $15, which feels like a great price point for the quality. Overall, great food, great drinks, great service. Formally the Alpine restaurant, they did a wonderful job updating and renovating this space. Conveniently located on Franklin right off of Hempstead Turnpike, this brunch spot holds true to its name. Eggs, Benedict and mimosas were in order. The eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise Was delightfully Light. Found this place by complete accident. Was looking for another brunch place because the original spot I was going to was closed. Went on an early Sunday morning - and it was so welcoming. The inside has many options for seating. Booths or regular tables and chairs. The menu is huge and offers different types of milks for those who need it. I also ordered a drink and asked them the make it to no alcohol and they had no issues. Portions are huge. So come hungry. We took a lot home. The wait staff is very attentive, quick, and respectful. I came here with my friend a few months ago we had such a great experience I couldn't wait to come back! This past Sunday my friend said let's give them another go and so we went this time I brought my daughter. The wait was 20 minutes which was alright but we were pressed for time so as soon as we sat down we knew what we wanted. Our waitress circled the room a few times before coming over once she did we immediately put in our food, a sprite and waters for the table. The sprite came the waters never made it ever. I did order the spiced pumpkin latte that came out way after the food it was decent but took way too long. We ordered chicken and waffles and a burger my daughters burger came out with just cheese no lettuce, tomato or onion as it should have and our waffles and chicken were the total opposite of what we had the last time. There is an obvious change here once I brought it up to the manager possibly the owner he said it's not burned it's just the coating of the chicken which was completely off the chicken. He did send another one out and it was just light as if they didn't want to fry it for to long. I left very unhappy with my experience here. read more
