So I've been here a couple of times the food was always amazing. However, the last time that I went there, my wife and I stopped in and unfortunately, I wore a shirt without sleeves. I can't believe that in all the times I've had to come here to New York that nobody has taken me here. This place was great! What a great menu, lot of different things on it to choice from. We started with some calamari. It had great flavor and it was not overly breaded or fried, but it was one thing, very tender. My cousin, he had the pork chop special. It looked really good. It looked like it had sausage, potatoes, onions and hot cherry peppers. He said it was very good! Now I had a difficult time deciding, I was torn between the shepherds pie, the chicken pot pie and the jumbalia. I went for the shepherds pie, a really good choice. I was too full to have desert. This is my third visit to Pearsall's Station. It is a typical Irish tavern atmosphere. My only complaint is there is a step down from the booths. The staff were friendly hostesses, waitresses, servers and bus boys. We were given enough time to review menu before ordering and served in a reasonable amount of time. The chicken pot pie was a hit, both shredded and chunks of chicken with peas, carrots and potatoes. The only comment is that a bottom crust as well would be great. The French onion chicken was a large breaded chicken cutlet with mozzarella cheese and what looks like a large serving of French onion soup atop. The soup mixture made the bottom crust soggy but gave the mixed vegetables (carrots/squash/zucchini) a little flavor. The top was a bit tough to cut even using the steak knife they serve it with. The cutlet was a little thick and should be pounded out a little more. Servings were large. Everyone ate about half, so leftovers. The dessert menu looked good but we were all full. Parking in the rear. Get there early because the parking lot is not very big and shared with a few other businesses so maybe later there should be spaces available. Random brunch dates are the best! Earlier today (7.6.25), we happen to see this place and went in for a brunch date. Everyone was very welcoming and the ambiance was vibrant. I really enjoyed how everything was from our server to the food, it was just right. First, the brunch menu was not fair because there were so many good choices to get but we narrowed it down. Our server took our order and a minute later we got a basket of complimentary fresh bakery goodies. It was a small blueberry and chocolate muffins, a mini bagel, pound cake and what I believe was a raspberry crumb cake. The flavors was exquisite, especially because it was warm! It blew me away. With our brunch order, we got unlimited mimosas and screwdrivers. Yum! Our order was the breakfast nachos with an extra egg and bacon as my add ons and the NY Strip Steak & Eggs Benedict. I ordered the St. Louis BBQ ribs, which had a flavor more reminiscent of kielbasa with BBQ sauce... not quite what I was expecting. The mac and cheese tasted like it was made with American or processed cheese; I would have preferred a richer cheddar-based version. For my children, I ordered the Captain Crunch chicken fingers with fries. Unfortunately, the chicken lacked flavor and the fries weren't even salted. My children weren't impressed and neither were we. This is a neighborhood spot. It looked like a great place once you step inside. The service was okay. It's handicap accessible. My friend and I went for dinner. We went there on a Wednesday night. Service was quick. The lighting atmosphere was a bit dark at our table but then the lights were better. I was able to see the menu and my friend. The crab cakes were delicious. They were bite-sized. The horseradish had a raspberry swirl on it. It was that bad. I tasted the Sheppard pie. It was seasoned well. My dish was tasty. The chicken was cut thinly, nicely battered. The chicken had a French onion sauce on it. The chesapeake crab cake were bite size and delicious. Went to Pearsall's for Sunday brunch and it was truly excellent! It comes with a breakfast basket to start and includes unlimited Bloody Mary's, Mimosas or Screwdrivers. We ordered the Steak & Eggs and Artichoke-Portobello-Spinach Omelette. The steak was grilled and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The omelette with Hollandaise sauce was delicious and plentiful. The home-style fries on both of our dishes were most pleasing. The service was prompt and friendly with regular check-ins. We sat in a comfortable booth and were able to watch a tennis match on TV. My friends and I have been going to Pearsall's most Saturday afternoon's for about a year. There are anywhere between 4-8 people in our party. We always leave a good tip and the servers are nice but the Manager is a rude and nasty man. Our friend always orders the same thing. Salmon well done. They usually do a good job but the last time we were there the salmon was burnt and the portion was very small. We asked the server to take it back and make a fresh one. They were very kind and took it back without an issue. However, the Manager then stopped by the table and said to my friend 'I heard there was an issue with your salmon but you always order it well done anyway so what's the problem?'. No sorry but we'll take care of it. Well done is well and burnt is burnt. There's a big difference. Plus for 30 plus dollars you'd expect a generous portion and what they served her was not that. They did give her a new meal but she was so upset with Manager questioning her so rudely that she couldn't enjoy the meal. Now we will not be going back there anytime soon which is unfortunate for the restaurant because we would frequent this place alot, always pay cash and we are usually a large party. I will say that the food is excellent and we will miss it but we just can't tolerate this rude Manager. We've had issues with him in the past but this last visit was the final straw! read more

Wow wow wow - first time eating there - Arrived earlier than the rest of our party, sat at the bar. Bartender was older and a bit tough, didn't smile and wasn't welcoming, kind of odd but ok.....asked for vodka redbull and the bartender looked at me like I was nuts, took about 5 min to say to me they do not serve that there - odd - ok Several of our party had eaten there before. The waitress was amazing! The manager / owner was amazing! We ordered drinks, apps and dinner, dinner didn't come out all at once, 5 of 6 plates came out together. 3 people ordered simple burgers, 2 of them came out burnet and had to be sent back. The manager / owner was so courteous and seemed embarrassed that it had happened. Finally we all had our food and it was yummy! The food and service were surprisingly very good. I say surprisingly because it's more of a neighborhood, no frills-bar type place and a bit dreary inside - so I was expecting below average bar food. This is a spot in my neighborhood I kept saying I'll stop in but never did. Today my moms and I decided to go in for their bottomless brunch. We were sat quickly and our waitress was super attentive. They give you a tire basket of muffins ,coffee cake, pound cake and mini bagel. We had the mimosas which after two I was feeling nice so they were giving more champagne then OJ ! The brunch also includes your coffee and soft drinks too. My mom had the chicken and waffles and I hade the steak and eggs. Everything was fresh and hot and flavorful.
