I came here one weeknight to get takeout for my family. They have a drive-thru that is very convenient when you have your kids and don't want to get out. My husband loved his spicy chicken sandwich and still talks about it. The spice level, quality of the chicken, and inclusion of avocado were great for him. My son and I got the chicken tenders which I thought were very good quality and flavored well for fast food chicken. The fries were not good, really boring and not flavored at all. The macaroni and cheese flavoring was also just not good and I wouldn't get it again. The cheese tasted artificial. Service was a little slow at the drive-thru but maybe that shows the food is a little fresher than other takeout options. KUDO's to this amazing group of individuals who made coming to this location a treat. Their level of professionalism along with this smiles and true customer concern separates Chick & Tender from many local stores. This team clearly shows what working together is all about along with this respect for the clients who come in. I had been coming to PDQ for a while until they changed this shop to Chick & Tender. The food, service and atmosphrre remained very similar except for their food additions. They added fries and chicken wings as well as some sandwiches. This store is centrally located right on Old Country Road in front of Walmart. There is plenty of parking in this very large lot with a very easy in and out. The store is very big with plenty of eating space both inside and out. They have a very large drive through service and will always see a team of people outside trying to help the line move a little quicker. It's an easy ordering system. I go to the counter, tell the team members what I am looking for, sit and wait just a few minutes. They work very quickly here. I have had the very delicious tenders and on this visit, wings. My wife had a delicious sandwich. Tenders are crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside and wings (while I like hem dry, were crispy and tasty. The place was formerly PDQ chicken, the ambiance is typical fast food, comfortable and clean. Friendly staff for the most part. Accuracy is an issue here, the employees seem to forget something or give the wrong item at this location. The food the chicken tenders are big compared to most places. The breading was ok, nothing mind blowing. Seems the elites have been gushing just to gush. The fries were soggy despite asking for them well done or double cooked. Definitely not the best fries anywhere. Didn't bother taking a photo cause they were sad. The shake was meh, nothing mind blowing bad, but not great either just middle of the road. The buttermilk ranch was good a solid ranch not a standout but solid in flavor. Overall opinion: good for a quick bite, prices are ok they have some deals but make sure to ask for them specifically cause the staff won't tell you and will charge you the higher price. If they focused more and put a little more effort in would be a 4 star place but this experience was as middle the road as it gets. read more

Food- 4/5 well seasoned! Tried the chicken tenders fries and grilled cheese. Tasted as expected. Fries well seasoned just a tad salty for my preference. Tenders were PERFECT. Sweet tea not as sweet as I preferred yet still tasty! BBQ and honey mustard sauces SO GOOD! Service - 5/5 Associates very helpful, kind, and great attitudes! Great sized chicken tenders that taste delicious with their assortment of sauces. My kids enjoy their tenders as well as the Mac and cheese or grilled cheese sandwich. My wife usually gets the spicy chicken sandwich with avocado. The lemonade is also freshly made. Overall a great spot for a quick lunch. Food tasted ok but they don't have the correct items listed on there menu and thank god I'm not allergic to avocado because they don't tell you one of the sandwiches come with it because they forgot to include it in the menu. The staff was nice and apologized but I left after 3 bites of my food and wasted my money. I liked this location when they were PDQ, and I think their transition over to independent business and not chain is working well for them. While this is the location we like to go yo, we attended their grand opening in Farmingdale, and listening to the owners speak, you can see that they really care about customer service and being part of the community. They host a children's coloring night on Wednesdays amongst other events you can find on their social media. The space is always clean, has ample seating, and my son loves the sink that's in the dining room to wash his hands. Aside from that, the food is pretty good. Stopped in for lunch - the rebrand has led to some great new menu options that I'm excited to try in the future. I had the tenders tossed in Buffalo, and my girlfriend had them crispy with sauce on the side. The French fries were absolutely delicious - so crispy and perfect. The tenders, considering we ordered them "crispy" were a bit soggy - both those tossed in sauce and those not. If they were crispier, it really would've been a slam dunk. read more

I am a really big fan of this place. I feel like all of their food is made fresh and made from high quality ingredients. At this point I have tried; the original sandwich which is generally rather generously sized and excellent with a solid sauce on it, the chicken tenders which are rather large and cooked perfect- goes well with their dipping sauces. I've had the chicken parm and that was really good. I have also had their shakes which always hit the spot. The fries are good as is the broccoli, and the mac and cheese is rather excellent. This has become one of my go-to spots. They have recently introduced many different specials and promos. This makes the food cheaper and affordability is a good thing. I have also recently been getting emails from them that have been offering free food with purchases or discounts, which is great. I hope that they are successful because I think that they are an amazing LI spot! read more

Food was fresh to order and seasoned well. Manger took my order and a very nice young lady brought my food to the table. Restaurant was spotless. The soda machine was limited on choices even though it indicated many choices. Manger needs to trust fellow employees to take orders instead of doing it for the counter and drive through. The staff was very friendly but we didn't really enjoy anything about our meal. To start I got home to realize I was given fries instead of Mac and cheese with my meal even though the attached receipt was labeled Mac and cheese. They have two kinds of chocolate shakes plus black and white shakes. We ordered a Ghirardelli shake thinking it would be the most chocolatey but it was most definitely not. The tenders seem to still have that little piece of tendon at the end of them which I've never experience before from a restaurant and it's not something I'd ever ask for. Yesterday, I had the tenders tossed with the honey mustard sauce and also had a side of coleslaw with a side of mac and cheese. The tenders were good and everything else was eh. Unfortunately, the following morning I became very ill and was unable to keep down the meal I had here. Now I will say discretion is advised when I say this: I saw some remanence of the food to confirm my suspicion.
