Theres a lot of great stuff going on with the meal. I ordered the Brazilian Burger. Did not disapoint. First off, the fries themselves might actually deserve their own review. They were just how I like them. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. As for the burger. This thing was massive. The Brazilian burger has a lot of unique toppings on it that brought it the extra mile. The bacon and the potatos had a really rich crispiness. This really amplified the burger's texture profile when paired with softer ingredients like the ham and the egg. The bun was nice and toasty as well, which is something I always appreciate. Despite all the different ingredients, they never took away from the main event. The patty. Amazing grill work. It was cooked perfectly, and really captured all those classic and iconic sensations you are looking for in a good burger. Super juicy and tender, and it nailed that savory, caramelized meaty flavor. You can really tell that a lot of care was put into the meal. While I will say the burger was a bit messy, that is to be expected when this thing is absolutely loaded with diffent stuff. This is exactly how a business can lose stars. Going in to dine on Friday 2/20/26 my plus one and I had a entirely different experience from the first visit, in which the female employee influenced our return and patronage. Dressed casually in this casual setting that was well lit. We came to take advantage of a deal that was advertised "combo BOGO 50% off" within the hours of the promotion, but we were taken advantage of! Asking the employee for the advertised combo he specifically and directly point at the sandwich menu which was significantly higher priced starting at $18. It looks like a steak sandwich, I asked if it was a burger, he stated that it comes like a burger. So we each ordered that and with onion rings. He stated that they come with French fries, we said we wanted to have onion rings for an extra charge. I'm starting to notice a language comprehension challenge in the exchange as he kept saying that the sandwich comes with fries, He later confirms our order minus fries and stated that there's $.75 extra. Sitting down viewing the aesthetics as stated previously, we started observing the menu closer and noticed that the menu says " burger combos" starting at $11. Questions does arise about the promo. Talking to the employee, asking why does the menu say combo and you pointed to the sandwich, his reply was that sandwiches are the only combos that they have. I replied but that sign says sandwiches and the other menu says burger combos and you pointed to the sandwiches, why would you point to the sandwich. I was looking for his guidance into the right direction. If looks could kill, he'd be serving a life sentence. I interpreted the look as he was caught in a trap with no way out because he said they only had one combo. So he admitted, after interrogation that we could have ordered the P. S Burger combo. His tactics to spend my money was misleading in every shape form or fashion. The sandwiches (not a burger even though it looked like a burger) had chunks of steak and was falling apart every time you bit into it, leaving chunks of meat in your mouth, that you must now negotiate in order not to choke. We could have walked away happy and satisfied spending $18 minus tax. Instead I spent $18 on one sandwich for a total of $28.5. ( 2 orders of onion rings and the BOGO) To add, they bring you the food, put a tip jar out, and expect you to tip on top of being taken for $10 extra. So the extra went into revenue, not the tip jar. I actually thought P.S Burger would add to our palate but it's just not going to work out. The employee's actions led us to spend more than intended, and that affected the overall experience. I recently visited P.S. Burgers in Mineola with my plus one, and we both ordered their chili dogs with a side of onion rings. It was my first time ever having a chili dog, and it turned out to be a great choice. The chili dog was huge. I definitely had to cut it into smaller pieces (don't judge!), but it was incredibly delicious. The onion rings were perfectly crispy and flavorful, a great complement to the meal. I also had a root beer, which made the whole combo even better. The service and the young lady was very friendly and attentive. Our food came out quickly, and she made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The ambiance was relaxed and very casual. It felt clean, comfortable, and inviting, with a laid back vibe perfect for a quick bite or a casual meal. The P.S. Burgers made my first chili dog experience a memorable one. I finally took the opportunity to stop by P. S. Burgers. I ordered a medium well cheeseburger with cheddar, sautéed onions, lettuce and tomato. Added a bit of mayo and ketchup. (My burger don't judge me). It was absolutely delicious. Burger cooked just right, it was juicy, flavorful and visually pleasing. Sorry forgot to take a pic. Our order taker was personable, she smiled and was patient as we were first timers and decisions had to be made. She ended up being our server as well. Her overall customer service is A1. The place has pretty simple decor. However, there are some very detailed and tasteful art pieces on the wall. Great to look at while waiting for you order to be prepared. I will definitely return. A friend and I decided to get burgers from PS Burger for dinner last night. I've tried most of the burger places around Westbury / Garden City but this was my first time here. Place is located right next to Winthrop Hospital. It's pretty small inside with tables on the perimeter of the place. No one was dining in and we just got our order to go. I got the Texas Burger Combo ($10.25) and my friend got the Hawaiian. Total for both combos was $23.08; ultra reasonable in my book. I sat down to eat and the first good sign for me was that they gave a lot of fries. Fries were nothing too special but did have a decent body to them and weren't too thin or anything. The burger itself was very solid. It wasn't huge but wasn't tiny. Burger was decently juicy and had a good amount of flavor from the bacon and BBQ sauce. I'd say it was a non fast food burger done right. I was very happy with my experience overall and I think this is my kind of place because they seem to have the fundamentals down (quality and quantity of food, prices). When you thought it couldn't get any worse, the fries were horrible. They were greasy, dry and dark, like they were deep fried in old oil. They have a variety of burger choices, from beef, bison, turkey, veggie to chicken burgers. You can create your own burger or choose from a list they created. The burgers are cooked well. I understand they do that for safety reasons but I like my burgers red! These burgers are too over cooked for me. If you get a lot of toppings, it masked the burnt burger. I think I waited 15 minutes for mine. I had the PS Paris combo which comes with fries, chipotle sauce, and a burger with spinach, gruyere, fried egg, and bacon. The burger was decent and the fries were good and crispy. The portion size is pretty big. You get a lot of fries. Although service was a bit slow, it was friendly. You order at the counter from their extensive salad, burger, and sandwich menu. I was shocked with how many creative burger combinations they offered. I went with the Paris burger which had bacon, honey Dijon mustard, and gruyere cheese. I forgot to let the cashier know how I wanted my burger cooked and she didn't ask, so it ended up cooking well done and a little dry. But that's my own fault. Other than that, it was super stacked and filling, but I didn't leave feeling gross like I would have at other burger places.
