They were just how I like them. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. As for the burger. This thing was massive. The Brazilian burger has a lot of unique toppings on it that brought it the extra mile. The bacon and the potatos had a really rich crispiness. This really amplified the burger's texture profile when paired with softer ingredients like the ham and the egg. The bun was nice and toasty as well, which is something I always appreciate. Despite all the different ingredients, they never took away from the main event. The patty. Amazing grill work. It was cooked perfectly, and really captured all those classic and iconic sensations you are looking for in a good burger. Super juicy and tender, and it nailed that savory, caramelized meaty flavor. You can really tell that a lot of care was put into the meal. While I will say the burger was a bit messy, that is to be expected when this thing is absolutely loaded with diffent stuff. Dressed casually in this casual setting that was well lit. We came to take advantage of a deal that was advertised "combo BOGO 50% off" within the hours of the promotion, but we were taken advantage of! Asking the employee for the advertised combo he specifically and directly point at the sandwich menu which was significantly higher priced starting at $18. It looks like a steak sandwich, I asked if it was a burger, he stated that it comes like a burger. So we each ordered that and with onion rings. He stated that they come with French fries, we said we wanted to have onion rings for an extra charge. I'm starting to notice a language comprehension challenge in the exchange as he kept saying that the sandwich comes with fries, He later confirms our order minus fries and stated that there's $.75 extra. Sitting down viewing the aesthetics as stated previously, we started observing the menu closer and noticed that the menu says " burger combos" starting at $11. Questions does arise about the promo. Talking to the employee, asking why does the menu say combo and you pointed to the sandwich, his reply was that sandwiches are the only combos that they have. I replied but that sign says sandwiches and the other menu says burger combos and you pointed to the sandwiches, why would you point to the sandwich. I was looking for his guidance into the right direction. If looks could kill, he'd be serving a life sentence. I interpreted the look as he was caught in a trap with no way out because he said they only had one combo. So he admitted, after interrogation that we could have ordered the P. S Burger combo. His tactics to spend my money was misleading in every shape form or fashion. The sandwiches (not a burger even though it looked like a burger) had chunks of steak and was falling apart every time you bit into it, leaving chunks of meat in your mouth, that you must now negotiate in order not to choke. We could have walked away happy and satisfied spending $18 minus tax. Instead I spent $18 on one sandwich for a total of $28.5. ( 2 orders of onion rings and the BOGO) To add, they bring you the food, put a tip jar out, and expect you to tip on top of being taken for $10 extra. So the extra went into revenue, not the tip jar. I actually thought P.S Burger would add to our palate but it's just not going to work out. The employee's actions led us to spend more than intended, and that affected the overall experience. But still.... Inspire more, Yelp more!

The beef burger is solid too -- not greasy at all, and I love that they use fresh jalapeño slices, which add real crunch and a clean spiciness instead of just heat. The fries were nice and crispy and tasted fresh, which I always appreciate. I also loved their shake options, especially that they have mango and falooda flavors -- such a fun and unique touch you don't see everywhere. The only thing that was mid for me was the Philly cheesesteak. It was very rich and cheesy, to the point where it felt heavy after a few bites. It could really use something acidic to balance it out -- even fresh bell peppers or a bit of tang would've made a big difference. It was worth the 15-minute detour before heading home, as their burgers and fries were just as tasty as ever and brought back an awesome sense of nostalgia. All American is quite possibly the best bang for your buck here you can find here on the island. While their prices have gone up slightly over the years, they are still super reasonable. This time around, I even decided to go for a wild card and try their Filet of Fish for my first time ever. It was actually quite flavorful and very filling. Unlike the old days, they are no longer only accept cash, as you can use Apple Pay, credit, or debit. The fact that they accepted Apple Pay was honestly quite a relief as I accidently left my wallet at home before going to the beach!
