The kids really wanted burgers today! We ordered the lunch combo, which includes a cheeseburger, fries, and a soda. We also got a single cheeseburger and an extra side of fries. Everything tasted delicious! The prices are great, and honestly, the flavor is much better than mcd or bk. The service was good and very quick, and the store was nice and clean. I saw this restaurant posted on Tiktok so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Double Green Kick Burger along with the Flippin Fries. The flippin fries come with a smashed patty, cheese and flippin sauce on top. The burger was a regular smashburger with jalapenos, pickles and flippin sauce. The burger was very greasy, but that's what a smashburger is. I highly recommend both. The restaurant is small with only a few tables to dine in. You are able to order ahead using Doordash or Uber eats. The order took a little longer than the estimated time on these apps so just beware of that. I want shopping for my sister-in-laws birthday party, when I needed to stop and eat. I saw "Flippin Buns" before and thought, a new Yelp would be nice. So I made the drive. For better parking, use the back of the store. The front looked good. Inside was average size. There were some crumbs on the table, but I did see someone go clean it up. At the counter, I ordered with the friendly lady. The price was good, but I quickly realized it was without fries. I asked the employee why she didn't mention that, she apologized. I sat down and waited for my food, it came pretty quick. I almost forgot dipping sauce for my fries, and she gave me their special sauce. I now am dependent on the sauce. It was that good. It made average fries taste incredible. The burger however was great! I really enjoyed its flavor. I definitely will go back. Checked out Flippin Buns and was welcomed by the a clean interior and efficient customer service. I went for the green kick burger. Came out hot and fast. Immediate I indulged and it was a decent burger. Crispy edges and soft. The patties were flavored and the jalapeños are well rationed throughout. Overall, I was pleased with my selection and I definitely will be back when I'm in the area. Highly recommended. read more

Flippin Buns in Hicksville NY on Broadway in the new shopping center has to date a soft opening. (See pix) I found what I bought to be expensive for what I got. A one patty burger on a roll with tiny chopped onions with small slice of pickle. You can get their sauce but the girl wasn't able to tell me what kind of sauce it is or what's in it. I opted for ketchup which was given to me in 5 little sqeeze packs.The burger had little taste. Also, there was cheese on the burger and I didn't order it. The girl told me all of them come that way. Odd, since their sign says nothing about cheese.The fries were thin sliced standard for 2 items total 11.95 given in a bag. The room is a clean little square with 2 metal small tables and chairs. A great new addition to Hicksville. Very simple menu consisting of mainly burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings. The burgers are smash patty style and very flavorful. The prices are relatively fair as well. The wait time is long sometimes, but it is a very small establishment so it isn't necessarily their fault during dinner rush. Passed by this place a few times and decided to give it a try. My wife and I ordered, a classic double, classic single with no onions & extra pickles, flippin fries, onion rings and a banana pudding. My burger had a great taste to it although it only had 1 pickle. My wife although she ordered no onions & extra pickles, she got no pickles and onions on it. The onions are small & chopped up, which made it very hard for my wife to take them out. The flippin fries were great! Shoe string fries with a smashed patty, onions & sauce on top was a good combination of flavors and textures. Onion rings were cooked to perfection and nice and crispy! The banana pudding was pretty good. The only downside on the banana pudding was there was not a lot of banana and the taste of the banana was very subtle and overpowered by the other flavors. This place is great. Solid Smash burgers with a good crispy crust. Fries are classic bowling alley type fries. Cheese sauce could use a little work. The addition of a good gluten free bun would also tap you guys into way more customers that are celiac and gluten intolerant. Being a GF safe burger place is needed! Keep doing what you're doing. Play some music and maybe hang up a picture of your burgers and fries and some other artwork on the walls or something to make it more inviting. read more
