I got the Chicken sandwich, with let us, tomatoes, onions and mayo. It was a grilled chicken. Very tasty and good. I recommend you try it! Great service too. This was on the corner of Newbridge Rd and W. cherry st. In Hicksville. read more

My fiancé and I were starving and just needed something quick, like don't even think about it, just pull in kind of quick. We've never tried Smashburger so we figured why not. I ordered the regular Smashburger and he got the Spicy Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich. The Smashburger was good. Not bad at all. I've definitely had better, and I'll admit, I'm not a big burger girl in general. This one was okay, not mind-blowing, but my fiancé actually really liked it and ended up eating most of it. I know they're popular for their smash sauce, but I actually didn't really like it. The tater tots were a solid win, really crispy. Can't go wrong. For a fast food-ish spot when you're hungry and don't want to think too hard, it hits the spot. Would I go out of my way for it? Probably not. read more

Scorchin smash burger is my new favorite burger. The bun, sauce, meat and the flavor was right on par. Even the black bean patty was pretty good. I would gladly choose smash burger over any other fast food chains. Huge place and good quality burgers. read more

Ordered Smashburger for the first time and was happy with the experience. I ordered the regular smash burger and I thought it was very good. My wife ordered a chicken smash and she said it was a little bland at first but when asked again at the end of the meal, she said that it was really good. We got me son a hotdog and he enjoyed it very much and ate the entire thing. The buttered roll that it was on was very good. The star of the meal was the mac and cheese. This was excellent- like extra excellent. We were all very impressed with it and will definitely go back for seconds. read more

I actually had to complain about stale fries! They were cold and old. They gave me new fries without a problem and the burger was okay. Smashburger is my favorite fast food burger spot but it was my first time at this location. I'm willing to give it another chance. read more

Smashburger - SPICY JALAPEO SMASH - Burgers Near Me - Hicksville, New York

Smash burger in Hicksville, has an adequate selection of burgers, fries, chicken wings, sides and a few flavors for shakes . The fries were cold, the Brussels sprouts were very cooked and there was a lot of flavored oil. I'm told the bbq bacon burger was good though no onion rings on it. There is a rewards account, online pickup area, a sign noting 67 people capacity, a town of Oysterbay certificate, a Fund raiser event sign, and even a government warning sign stating that pregnant women should not drink. It's ok for a once in a while. read more

Isn't a smash burger supposed to be a smash burger? The patties certainly were not smashed. The double truffle mushroom smash burger was not good. There was so much oil coming from the burger, it was very messy. They put way too much aioli to the point it was overpowering the entire burger and I couldn't eat it. I am very disappointed. read more

There must be SOMETHING people like about Smashburger, but as a vegetarian, I can tell you their "Veggie Smash" is the absolute worst veggie burger I have ever eaten. It's advertised as a black bean burger, but what you get is essentially a mess of crushed black beans with no discernible taste on a crappy burger bun. Oh, and I don't remember the exact price, but this very unsatisfying meal, which included some greasy fries (reportedly not cooked in the same oil as chicken and meat) and a stock powdered iced tea, set me back a lot more than I expected. It's too bad places like this don't pay more attention to the quality of their plant-based menu items. If one vegetarian goes out to lunch with a bunch of people who all want a real burger, they're going to go where the vegetarian can get a decent meal, too. Smashburger is not that place. read more

Smash. Sizzle. Savor. The husband and I finally had a quiet #lunchdate without the kids! I mean it was rather nice to dine alone, together, just the two of us, for once haha *wink* We actually dined IN at Smashburger because 1. we happened to be in the area 2. we miss in-door dining!! 3. we also miss the juicy burgers here! #heartEYES This is actually our second time at this location, believe it or not.. wished I had written about the first time dining experience here for a comparison. Anyhow, I believe second time is a definitely a better charm 'cause we loved it, enjoyed ourselves with no complaints! It's sad to be coming here during a pandemic, but happy Smashburger is pretty clean, sanitary, organized, and the staff handled the food very well. They even provide cleaning supplies for customers to double and triple clean your own table! I ordered the flavorful Truffle Mushroom Swiss (Truffle mayo, sauteed crimini mushrooms and aged swiss on an egg bun.) The husband ordered the delish Bacon Smash (Applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato & mayo on a classic bun.) We shared the yummy Smashfries (Tossed with rosemary, olive oil and garlic.) Our burgers and fries were so good that we put all of our concentration in eating and we didn't even look at our phones or talk to each other until we were both done LOL I guess we were also glad we finally managed to dine-in! read more

I tried smashburger for the first time with my girlfriend and I was actually surprised by how good their burgers were! The fries and tater tots were delicious, however the burgers were pretty greasy in the bag, and it would soak through the bag, but besides that, the flavor was there! A little bit overpriced but the food is way better than their competitors! read more

I like it. Good burgers and good chicken sandwich. Not cheap, but cheaper than 5guys. Definitely worth a try if you haven't tried it yet. I'm not crazy about the new logo bc it's hard to discern that they are selling burgers. However, I do like the orange color scheme. read more

I've never had smash burger before, so while visiting my buddy in Jericho, we decided to go for lunch. Double classic cheeseburger, large smash fries which is their signature rosemary olive oil garlic fries, regular fountain drink, and chocolate milkshake. Ready? $25 just for me! WTF? It was good though, fresh and right off the grill! Fries were great! But $25? That's more than burgerfi and shake shack! To me, that's really expensive. We waited 15 minutes after ordering which I believe is a long time, they did bring the meals to our table and a guy did come over and ask how things were and if we needed anything. So decent service although the guy who rang me up didn't really want to be there, no smile no thank you's given. Would I be back? Maybe if I had enough money for the insanely expensive meal and I was hungry enough to justify it. But if shake shack or burgerfi was nearby, I'd save some money for the same amount of yumminess. My friends receipt is attached to see that he paid more than I. That's one expensive lunch, could have had sushi instead for the money. The missing two stars is for the long wait for the food to come out and the other for really expensive! read more

The service is always great and the milkshakes taste good but the new spicy chicken sandwiches taste awful. When I first got the sandwich a few months ago it was great, two fresh spicy chicken tenders. It seems that the last few weeks the sandwich gets worse. This past friday 12-13-24, the sandwich was inedible. The bread was very hard and the chicken tenders was so hard, I had to switch with the chicken tenders I purchased ( the five piece spicy chicken tenders). Please go back to the old menu, this menu is awful and extremely limiting. read more

Food is really good, although they changed the crispy chicken sandwich to include two tenders instead of a piece of chicken. Pretty lame. But the main reason I write this review is because employees will often ask customers to leave five star reviews. I assume it's the manager telling the workers to do this but the audacity to farm reviews to look good is horrible. Makes me seriously consider visiting this location. read more

My husband lovesssss burgers! Need I say more? We come here for their classic smash and smash fries! I love love love garlic fries! Their smash fries are tossed in Italian olive oil and garlic. Yumm! The cashier made me the best shake ever, her name was fiorella !! i had to create this review because it made my tummy excited.

I haven't been to a Smashburger since it's Yelp event in the city many moons back. I remembered there were plenty of tasty options but still never made my way back. Could be because there are plenty of burger joints everywhere or simply that its a fast food chain. My husband went to a Smashburger a few weeks back for the first time and told me it was great. So randomly today I chose to come to this particular establishment for a quick lunch with the hubs. I had no clue there are so much Smashburgers throughout Long Island, let alone one that is only 2 miles away! Upon entry, I was pleasantly surprised of the industrial modern decor and how it appears to be super clean! Not the typical "fast food" look I had in my head. It is actually really nice! The employees greeted us as soon as we walked in. I ordered the truffle mushroom swiss single stack burger with the smash tots. My husband had the same burger but double stack along with crispy brussels sprouts. HOLY COW. Everything was so delicious! The burger had just the right amount of truffle flavor and the beef was moist. The tots were a touch oily but each individual tot was packed with tons of flavor and perfectly crispy. The real winner were the brussels sprouts - wowza! The brussels sprouts had just the right about of salt, tenderness, and crisp. I really am super impressed and already looking forward to my next trip to Smashburger! read more

Had a good experience recently at Smashburger. We've been ordering large group orders for work and chose Smashburger and everyone was happy with their order. I actually did not get a burger this time around. I tried their Cobb Salad which tasted fresh. The portion was large... maybe even 2 people can share. It was very balanced between the tangy dressing, smoky bacon and chicken. Trying to diet but just from appearance, the burgers looked and smelled great! read more

My friends who live out in LI took me here one night for a quick dinner @ Smashburger. Loved it... quick to order and quick service too (whether you eat in or take out). Seating is about 64 people max. Choose your burger or build your own - love the bacon burger...did someone say bacon? Mmmm! Can't forge the sides: Tots and brussel sprouts were delicious! This is the first burger place that I have seen roasted brussel sprouts on the menu and they make it right! Crispy and healthy! For a healthier option, they have grilled chicken sandwich and salads too. Placed an online order and went to pick it up. The restaurant has a nice looking setup and is pretty clean. The food - I had the Classic Burger with SmashFries. Decided to go a little dangerous and also added a side of Haystack onions. Really wanted to like it, but like a few of the reviews here, the burger was incredibly salty. You can taste it with every bite. A good seasoned patty does not need the extra salt. The SmashFries was good. Nice garlicky taste. Luckily that was spared of salt mania. Thought I was out of the woods, but then on to the Haystack onions. Brutally salty! Had a few strings, then straight to the trash. Too bad. I generally like Smashburger. Maybe this only applies to the online orders, but most likely, won't be ordering here until they tone it down with the sodium content. read more

I did it again. I wish there were a better option in the area. Problem is that the food is pretty good, so I keep going back, even if they remind me every time why I swore off it in the first place. Anyway, the only reason for the review is that I finally found something good here. Michele was fantastic. Generally the employees are horrible, but she not only got my order right, but was nice and corrected the errors of the others. She even got through the loudest fire alarm ever without a hitch. New pain points were the amazing amount of grease which destroyed my pants just by me merely putting the bag on my leg, the lack of bacon that they didn't include (they literally have never gotten an order fully right in the 10 or so times I've been here), and the fire alarm which I wouldn't normally penalize them for, but since they're the worst, it's fair game. I've included a picture of my pants to show the damage caused by me putting the our bag on my leg for less than three seconds. read more

It's just decent not bad not to good. The highlight was definitely the strawberry shake along with the modern environment as well.

After multiple visits over the years: cleanliness a roll of the dice, condiments (e.g., pepper) must be asked for, plastic bits in vanilla shake, food occasionally overcooked. Dine-in not recommended. Take-out no issue read more

Smashburger is working hard through COVID19! The set up is very neat and simple, you enter the restaurant to order from the left, or pick-up from the right. The register has a clear protector, which some usually prefer, and you order from at least 6 feet away. The menus are simple, the employees are knowledgeable about the menu to make sure you get what you want in your order. It was my first time trying Smashburger, it was a good experience, but I'm not sure it'll be a taste that I'll be craving. If I am in the area, yes, I wouldn't mind having. read more

I usually get a hamburger here and they've been good so far. No issues besides the sometimes incorrect order but that's not a big deal to me bc at the end of the day I'm not a picky eater so if I didn't get the bacon, I'll live. But this last visit...Ehhh I got the beer battered cod thinking it's probably way better than a McDonald's fish fillet. While eating it at home, halfway through there was a bite that I couldn't actually bite through. So I pulled out the piece and this entire piece pulled out. It's extremely rubbery feeling and will not pull a part by hand. I threw out the rest of the sandwich as I was completely grossed out by this point. I'm genuinely hoping it was cooked bc I just had sinus surgery so I'm super fearful of damaging my nose. read more

Always bangin!! This is one of my most favorite burger spots and I've tried many different ones from different areas and price range. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and a side of Brussel sprouts with extra ranch and Man oh Man it was good. Please was clean and the servers were very attentive..
