Ordered Bareburger for my wife and I. My foods decent. My wife's food was not. If you want a moldy multigrain bun or whatever this is in the picture, this place is for you!

Industrial Vibe standalone store in the lot of a busy Plainview shopping center. Good all around stop for a quick Veggie, Turkey or Regular burger, Salad or Fries. Menu is condensed to variations of those items. Onion rings may be their best claim to fame. A few good sandwich bun options also. Place is clean, staff cool and efficient. No nonsense easy fast bite in a pleasant place to sit for a quick meal. Nothing super wowing but all good.

I always liked this place! I havent been in a long time and recently went to pick up some lunch and ordered the 4oz organic grass fed beef burger on a brioche bun with alfalfa sprouts, lettuce, tomato, and red onion. I opted for farm style cheddar cheese on my burger. My side over consisted of delicious cooked to perfection sweet potato fries & a side of organic catchup. Overall, easy ordering online for pickup and great food.

It was my first time here and I will definitely be back, the Resturant ambiance is so lovely and comforting. My server Kaitlyn was such a pleasure with guiding me what to order .With Pavan behind the bar my martinis came out phenomenal, i had to have a 2nd round . The night was busy for take out and the new guy Evan was giving outstanding customer service to the delivery guys. Working in a restaurant as well you tend to listen in on everyone's service to see what it's like from a customer's perspective. 10/10 I will be back for that Spicy Paul Bunyan . Food was so goodddd I forgot I had a phone to take photos of my food . Thank you Bareburger Fam.

Pretty decent burgers, very average service. Nothing to write home about. The interior/exterior design was unique and had a fun vibe though. They started us off with popcorn in a bag? Interesting but ok! I ordered the single ranchero and a large side order of fries. The wait for the food was abnormally long, especially since there was barely anyone else eating lunch inside. When I got the burger, it looked plain and a little sad. But after I tried it I was surprised that it had a lot of flavor! The patty was juicy, the bun was soft, and the light sauce they used was a great touch. Not too heavy or creamy. The fries looked plain as well, but yet again, they were pretty good. Overall, the experience was alright!

Okay, I have been wanting to try this place since I first saw them open and just never had the chance because I'm not always in Plainview. Today was that day.. I went there just shortly after 1 PM on a Thursday for lunch. There were two of us I ordered a standard burger which comes with Colby cheese and caramelized onions and my husband ordered a bison burger which he customized with his toppings. We ordered onion rings and french fries and garlic aioli and two drinks. The server was friendly although I could see she was clearly very inexperienced, if not, then not good at her job. Our table was really dirty I cleaned it with the water that they put down and whatever napkins I could get from around me the floors around us and under all of the tables was very dirty with food debris. That was a turn off which I only noticed after we had ordered or I would've walked out. They were only two customers in the restaurant there was no reason that they were cleaning the stations. That said I cleaned off my table assumed it was an off day for the staff and looked forward to the meal. When the food came. The garlic aïoli and the onion rings were not present. She did bring me the sauce but then informed us that they had no onion rings so that was kind of a disappointment since we should've been told before the meal was served that something we ordered was out of stock. Maybe we would we like to change it to something else then, but not once the food was already served. Into the meal the burger I had was bland and well done (I ordered Medium) and it turns out that I got the bison patty with all my toppings and my husband got the beef burger that I ordered for with his customized toppings. My soda also had barely any syrup in it so it tasted like seltzer with just a slight hint of flavoring. All in all I love the concept of this place we just weren't blown away today and maybe it's an off day. I don't know if we would go back we're not in the area that often and it wasn't anything memorable. If we ever were to try it again it would be a different location I think.

The food was just ok and the service was horrible and before we came into the restaurant we saw two huge rats just going in and out of the restaurants . They really didn't care about us they cared about other people who where dining and only cared for a tip or Cheque. Not what I expected from a local place

Decided to try somewhere new to me, because I had never eaten here before. Always heard great things about here but always kept forgetting to go. Yesterday I ordered the BL Turkey Burger with a double patty and my boyfriend got the El Rancho burger. We decided to split a little thing of fries between us. The Turkey burger was tender, juicy, the bacon was smoky and had avocado which was so fresh and delicious. It did have a light honey mustard on it which I did enjoy very much! My only complaint was that the burger was very messy and hard to keep together on the bun. Otherwise this was a very scrumptious burger and I'll definitely be coming back here again!

    Honey Brussels with classic margarita

This is my favorite neighborhood joint for a quick drink or bite. The people are super friendly especially Davon, Catalina and Katelyn. Their apps and burgers taste great. My favorite app is the Honey Brussels which I pair with a classic marg. I love their happy hours every day till 7pm. Never had a single bad experience so far. They do get crazy busy during the peak hours so I always make it a point to go a little after 6:45 so I can still order happy hour drinks and the environment is a bit calmer. I would highly recommend this place.

I made a reservation for two on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was pretty busy, but they had our table ready even though we arrived 30 minutes early. Our server was Evelyn, and she was so sweet and she helped us when we were trying to decide between two desserts and three appetizers. We ordered: - Spring Salad (5/5) this tasted so good with the fresh mango, the snap peas, and the carrot ginger dressing. - Faroe Islands Salmon (5/5) I only tasted the rice, and not the salmon itself, but the rice was so good, and I just kept on stealing more from the plate. - Roasted-Half Chicken (4/5) This was my own entrée, and I loved how the chicken was crispy, and I also really liked the garlic mashed potatoes, but the only thing that I did not think worked well with the dish was the swiss chard. I think it would've tasted better with spinach. - Strawberry Cheesecake (4/5) this was surprisingly very light for a cheesecake, we ended up finishing all of it, and the whipped cream was really good. The strawberries were not my favorite, I kind of wish that they were just fresh slices of strawberries, but to each their own. All in all, this was a super solid meal, there's plenty of parking, and the restaurant is quite spacious, and the single bathrooms are also pretty large.

We both started with the New England Clam Chowder and it was perfectly seasoned and had a nice amount of clams, potato and croutons for texture. Wonderfully flavorful and it was good portion. Next we decided on the main courses, wifey chose the chicken scallopini with linguine; I chose the rigatoni bolognese - mostly because that was her second choice. We absolutely loved the food, portions were huge and flavors were absolutely top notch. We managed to get so full from off the entrees that we managed to have some leftovers for our kids to enjoy back at home. Of course we had to leave some room for desert. I didn't take a picture of it but we loved the carrot cake. If you're ever in the area, or can make it with reservations it is absolutely worth every effort to make it to this restaurant. Food was amazing, service was spectacular and the ambiance is chic and pleasant.

During the winter months I'd do takeout and every time the food was great at home. I love their soba noodles salad when it's in season, however they switched to a different noodle and it doesn't have the same oomph! The owner recognizes me from all the times I've been there for dining in, takeout, called, and parties and events. I went there again last night with some family and overall it was very nice. One star deduction for the rudeness we received from the manager. She came over after we ordered a second bottle of the Freemark Abbey (wine) (as they were completely out and the first bottle we ordered was their last bottle in stock) and gave us two "similar" options that were around the same price of the first bottle. Price doesn't equal to taste. We first asked if it's okay to try it even if we may not like it, and she kindly proceeded to open the bottle. We said "no thanks," to the Keever (it tasted disgusting in comparison), which she and her colleague highly suggested, and we asked nicely if the other bottle was an option to try, but she swiftly walked back inside with both bottles and brought out an open bottle of the Katherine Cab. We liked that better. She stormed away after she said something fast and nasty like "It's either the bottle or you have to pay per glass." We didn't quite catch it but the ultimatum put a bad taste in everyone's mouths. We wound up ordering the Katherine Cab. When we got the bill the server charged us fairly. We tipped well because it's not the server's fault she was upset about opening the wine that she pushed. Happy eats!

We were seated immediately in the room toward the back left corner where we were the only table occupying the space. In fact, as the evening progressed, no other diners/groups were seated back there, which was nice. We observed that although it was a Friday evening at prime dinner hour, the restaurant never got too full nor was the bar area buzzing. Again, it was nice that it wasn't so hectic in there, but we noted that as curious for a spot like this, on a Friday evening, and when the weather was pleasant. Starting with a high point: our server was really good. He was a very nice young man who let us know at the end of our meal that it was actually his first day on the job. While we could tell he didn't know everything about the menu - which is totally understandable given him being a new hire - he was kind, personable, and went above and beyond to provide excellent and timely service. As for the venue, it was nice although not upscale and that was just our speed for this evening. We loved having the room to sit comfortably at a setup that could comfortably seat 8. As for the food, it was decent although I wouldn't call anything I tasted fantastic. For apps, we shared 2 orders apiece of calamari, crab cakes, and lamb chops (6 apps total) with the chops being my favorite out of those. The calamari were small and didn't pack a lot of flavor but they were fried well. The marinara sauce that came with it was also fine but not remarkable. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint. I would give the food a little better than a "3" but I think they have enough going for them that amping up the flavors could do wonders for their desirability and drawing more diners.

First time here at Four, and I'm a fan of tasting menus; however, there was much more to be desired…read morefor 300 per person before drinks. Starting off with the weakest part of this review, the service. There was no engagement during the entire course of the dinner from the chefs. Explanations about each dish was minimal and barely audible with the accents. It was like I was having dinner and the kitchen was invisible whereas seating is in a L shaped table that faces the kitchen, so you'd think there would be something. The food was OK. A few dishes were unique, but the majority did not have that wow factor. My favorites were the duck, dry-aged beef, and kanpachi. The A5 Wagyu was a bit dry on the edges and was not tender like other A5's. All in all, I thought this would be better considering being the most expensive restaurant on Long Island. If this was $150 before tax and tip, that would be a much fairer price for the food and experience but at $250 you're competing with some really high-quality restaurants.

So I struggle with the star rating on this one. The food- the tastes- were excellent but the…read moreexperience leaves a whole lot to be desired. We had a party of 10 specifically so we could have the place to ourselves. This was a group of people that all knew each other, know food and appreciate good wine. The seating is not optimal for conversation. There is an L shaped seating table. A U shape would be MUCH more conducive to group seating. There is a way to overcome this however... the host/chef could have the attention of the group and facilitate the conversation. You are not given a menu at the beginning - they tell you you will receive one at the end. We did but by the end you forget some of the tasting notes you had on each dish. As each dish came out, there was little to no explanation. I was asking questions and the chefs were just not engaging. As a matter of fact, my group spoke afterwards about feeling as if the 2 chefs had had an argument before we entered because they appeared annoyed. With each other, with plating, with answering our questions... The host Jared was quite friendly and polite. He served the group well. Wine was requested and dispensed but again, not one explanation of where the wine came from, why it was chosen, etc. Interestingly we asked for a second bottle of a particular wine and he came back and said we'd been served the last of that bottle "but I brought you another Pinot". No reasoning as to why this was a worthy follow up or a similarly tasting wine. Nothing... With each course, we had to ask what it was. And if I asked what a particular garnish was or the preparation I was given a very evasive response. I've been to many Chef's Tasting Tables and this is obviously a comparison. While the bites were great, there was no Chef's table. The chef's barely spoke. The vessels for presentation were interesting although some were obviously chosen for the drama of the vessel not the function of the bite. Some of the standout dishes were: Dry aged beef; Wagyu; Hamachi and the Key Lime Mousse. I don't even like Key Lime Pie yet this bite was epic. Lastly, without the caviar add on, the pricing came to $490. pp including gratuity.

We opted for the 4 course pre-fixe for $105 which includes two appetizers, entree and dessert. We had oysters, bucatini with clams, cheese board and roasted mushrooms for apps, all good. Branzino and pork chop were up next, also quite tasty. Apple strudel was good tho the banana pudding was skippable. They comped us a champagne toast which was nice. Only ding is very limited wine by the glass menu. Otherwise, a solid choice for a special occasion dinner.

Is it the delicious food? Maybe the sophisticated yet sleek ambiance. I don't know what it is, but they got it and I love it. And I love showing them off to others. On a cold Tuesday night, it was pretty empty. I really hope the summer months are better to them. The table-side bread basket was amazing. We each got to pick which sort of bread we wanted. There was sourdough, focaccia and others. I went with the focaccia and never looked back. Burrata and beets, Brussels sprouts and salmon that was cooked perfectly was enjoyed while the specialty cocktails were sipped. We had all the attention of the staff being the only diners in there. It was such lovely time I'm going to make sure I don't wait to long to go back.

Sorbet... meh. I would rethink the plate to a crisp white to showcase the soft mango & peach hues.
