Price - $30 (appetizer, entree, beverage (free refills), tip) Food - 4/5 - solid food, huge amount. Service - 3/5 - solid, nothing beyond. Ambiance - 3/5 - typical diner feel. Overall - 3/5 - solid diner and that is all it is. Food tasted like a diner, got diner service, and diner vibes. Only thing worth noting is you will get a massive amount of food. Ordered fish and chips and received a pretty size-able salad along with it, 5 pieces of fish, not to mention the additional pasta salad and other small sides (pasta salad was pretty bad IMO). I loved the feel of the restaurant and how very much it felt like a throw back to the old days. The food however I just felt was bland. The potatoes looked amazing but when we tried them it was like no flavor we tried to add a ton of salt and stuff and I don't know what it was it just wouldn't do it. My husband enjoyed his breakfast minus the potatoes but my omelet was a mess, cheese was melted on the plate not on the omelette and I had raw green peppers and onions. It doesn't get too crowded on weekends and you can usually get a parking spot in the lot surrounding the restaurant. We've been here usually late Saturday morning for brunch and breakfast is served all day. Whether you're looking for some bacon & eggs, omelets, pancakes or a cheeseburger deluxe, you'll find it on their expansive menu. There's even a whole page of chicken sandwiches! Since this is a Greek diner, you'll also find gyro & souvlaki, along with 2-3 soups of the day and they rotate depending on the day of the week. If they have any of my favorites, Cream of Turkey, Split Pea or New England Clam Chowder, I'll always get a cup of soup to start. The daily lunch specials include a variety of different sandwiches and wraps, as well. You can't wrong with a burger deluxe, complete with lettuce, tomato & French Fries. The Filo dough shell was spoiled, tho. When I told the server, he then told the head server, who then started a loud fight with me, & would not credit the cost for the item. She then told me she was taking photos of me, & calling 911! I still then left a 20%+ tip on the remainder of my bill, which I paid in cash. Also note: the Spanakopita was only $10. One of the best diners I have ever been to!!! They gave us a pasta salad for free as an appetizer and it was delicious I tell you! The right amount of zing healthy and fresh! We had: - Turkey Burger - good - Chocolate Chip Pancakes - good - Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap - so so - Chicken Souvlaki Pita - inedible. This diner has been in business a very long time. It use to be called The Bon-Ton diner in the 60s.and after they remodeled it they changed the name but under the same management. I have had broiled lamb chops and steaks that were cooked perfectly and they also have a large breakfast selection,I just love their breakfast sausage and corned beef hash. Went there last weekend for the first time. Some of the orders in our party included French Onion soup, Eggs w/Corned Beef Hash and a Grilled chicken wrap. The soup: very watery and bland--no flavor. It was bad. Won't order that again here. The wrap: very dry chicken with absolutely no flavor either. It was so bland, salt and pepper was dumped on it but that didn't help. a few bites of it was eaten and we didn't bother to take the rest home -what a waste. The fries that came with the wrap were good. Lastly the eggs/corned beef .--Excellent! Cooked perfectly and delicious. So far my husband and I have come here twice. The portions are huge and the staff is very friendly. When you first walk in you automatically get a bread basket and some cold pasta with chick peas and olive oil as a complimentary meal starter. You are also asked if you want a complimentary glass of wine. The first time we came it was pretty busy so our waitress didn't come by very often, but the second time we came the waitress and the hostess both made sure our meals were okay and kept asking us if everything was okay. The bread was great it was worth the calories! I'm trying to stay away from bread and keep my bread and carb intake limited. If I choose to eat a piece of bread now it needs to be good since I'm not having it so often. My husband said the bread was good from the bread basket and he was right. I got spinach pie the first time we came here, and the Arizona salad without the chicken the second time. The salad was huge, they gave me extra cheese and extra walnuts when they found out I don't eat meat. I ate some salad at dinner, then I ate some the next day after that I had to throw it away because salad doesn't last long in the fridge before it starts getting soggy.
