Texas Burger Deluxe w/ Curly Fries, Pickle & Cole Slaw

This is a pretty solid diner at the intersecting borders of Farmingdale, Lindenhurst & W. Babylon. It doesn't get too crowded on weekends and you can usually get a parking spot in the lot surrounding the restaurant. We've been here usually late Saturday morning for brunch and breakfast is served all day. Whether you're looking for some bacon & eggs, omelets, pancakes or a cheeseburger deluxe, you'll find it on their expansive menu. There's even a whole page of chicken sandwiches! Since this is a Greek diner, you'll also find gyro & souvlaki, along with 2-3 soups of the day and they rotate depending on the day of the week. If they have any of my favorites, Cream of Turkey, Split Pea or New England Clam Chowder, I'll always get a cup of soup to start. The daily lunch specials include a variety of different sandwiches and wraps, as well. You can't wrong with a burger deluxe, complete with lettuce, tomato & French Fries. Feel free to ask to substitute home fries, curly fries or sweet potato fries. If I'm in the mood for breakfast, even in the afternoon or evening, I like over easy eggs on corned beef hash with the yolks running over the hash, along with sides of home fries and toast. My wife will usually go for an omelet and she'll get a Farmer's, Western or customizes her own. She likes to get grits as her breakfast side instead of home fries. And if I get a sandwich or burger, she usually steals my pickle O.o, but I secretly stash the bonus onion ring for myself.

They were very welcoming. The waitress was very nice as well I got the western omelette with American cheese added comes a home fries and a side of toast. We also got the French toast with sausage and an over medium egg.I will definitely come back!

    Free Pasta Salad -04/05/2024

One of the best diners I have ever been to!!! They gave us a pasta salad for free as an appetizer and it was delicious I tell you! The right amount of zing healthy and fresh! The carrots in it were delicious with just the right amount of crunch! Our waitress was a fairy godmother type of a woman. She definitely deserves a raise as she enticed me to add fries to my order! My curly fries were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious and savoury. Oh and the burger I ordered was the Soho mushroom burger. It was the most delicious and juicy burger I have ever tasted and this is not an exaggeration! Owner if you see this review can you please tell me your secret! - Super yummy coffee, very fresh lettuce, tomato and cole slaw with great service - Coffee and soda refills kept coming!

Home fries, thin pancake and poor quality bacon.

The service was very good but the food was horrible. I ordered the Lumber Jack and the pancakes were thin and rubbery, the bacon was of poor quality and tasted bad. The home fries were plain and had zero flavor. I took one bite of the sausage link and left the rest. It did not taste good either. My friend got an omelette with avocado and cheese, and he left half of it stating that it did not taste good at all. My photo was after I decided to put it and myself out of its misery but you can see the bacon, thin pancakes and home fries as described earlier.

Tried again. Just NOT consistent and the owner DOESN'T want to hear about it. Such a disappointment. I thought this might be a great place to eat. Not going back again.

This diner has been in business a very long time. It use to be called The Bon-Ton diner in the 60s.and after they remodeled it they changed the name but under the same management. I have had broiled lamb chops and steaks that were cooked perfectly and they also have a large breakfast selection,I just love their breakfast sausage and corned beef hash. So if you're in the area an give them a try.they will treat you just like family.

Very solid old-school diner. Just beware it can get really busy on the weekends, but it's definitely worth the wait.

The food tasted like it was drenched in a grill solution that many restaurants buy for the flat top such as "whirl butter". Everything tasted like it was marinated in this oil that made us both very sick. We both only ate about 25% of our food as it was full of oil grease and the most disgusting taste we have ever experienced. When bringing to the attention of an employee the answer was shoulders that shook! Really! WTH man was it someone's kid cooking in the kitchen was the staff runners waiter etc just didn't give a f_k??? Never ever ever again. You lost a great old time customer. Yelpers, theres many diners to choose from. Go to Embassy in Bethpage. Atleast if there's ever an issue Gus or his son will do right. This place has gone down in quality and service. Stay away from Terrace Diner unless you are clogged in your intestines and want a real quick fix of the runs. Next call is to the DOH if not better in morning

In no rush on this beautiful morning, so I figured I'd order the biggest plate I could've ordered and just soak the vibe in, appropriately called The Feast with a glass of apple juice. So they came in with the wrong order, so what? At least they quickly got it fixed and brought out my real order, no need to throw a fit this early in the morning. Anyhow, as for the meal itself, they're not trying to reinvent the wheel and that is perfectly fine, really just came for the vibes. The meal was satisfyingly traditional overall. Is it worth going back to though? Unfortunately no, because there are better sit down breakfast spots on the island, wasn't really worth the distance, in my opinion. Some minor complaints are that coffee drinks weren't refilled and syrup cost extra by like ¢.75, but they're really minor, nothing to really fuss about, personally though I liked it but it was worth it for the one time for the vibe alone. I would recommend only if you're close to the place.
