This is one of the worst delis I've been to on the island. I say this as someone who has given them several opportunities over the last few years and the only reason I have done that is out of convenience. Not once have I ever been satisfied as a customer. Overpriced and no value for your dollar. As you can see by the photo the sandwich is mostly bread. Almost zero flavor too. I asked for red peppers not green peppers if possible. I was told "ok no problem" instead i got no peppers. Spend your hard earned dollar at a great deli like Brothers in lindenhurst or lulus and better bagel in amityville.

hate the celtics loveeeee the sandwich... reyes deli doesn't miss!, great soups as well

I've lived local for years and never tried to place. trust me I understand it's just a sandwich.. but do you know how many places over the years have ruined a simple sandwich?! ... quick simple is best sometimes. Next sandwich order is definitely from here!

this is, by far, the best deli i have ever been to. from their cold cuts to their grilled chicken to their beef tacos everything is 10/10 fresh and delicious. we order several times a week and have never been disappointed. their beef tacos are truly out of this world!! the staff is so friendly and the place itself is very clean- great spot!

Owen M.

Place is cool, counter chick was cool and it's nice inside... I give it 3 Bc their "hungry man" hero still had me still hungry afterwards.. man. The bread to food ratio was way too off. I'll go back eventually and get some hot food since everyone else seems to like so much.

Today's special - Shredded Beef Tacos. Highly recommend.

Still love this place so much. Every sandwich is made perfect. Current fave is a BLT.

Mike H.

The best breakfast sandwiches around. Not a fancy place like some of the others but they nail the basics. Excellent food, nice people and good service. Nice clean place.

Spinach stuffed chicken with a side of rice and beans - so delicious!

Delicious food and a large variety of options to pick from daily. I came here for lunch and had the spinach stuffed chicken with rice and beans! It was so yummy and inexpensive. Family owned - really great people! :) can't wait to go back!

Best deli, hands-down, there isn't a bacon, egg and cheese that compares on this side of the Mississippi. And my favorite lunch sandwich is the Packers with a side of gravy. Once you go Reyes, you'll never go to another Deli again. Nicest customer service and cleanest place ever with the best food. read more

We work all over Long Island. It's hard to find good deli food. But for the first time today, we went into Reyes and had the grilled chicken with grilled vegetables. I can literally say this is the best damn grilled chicken I have ever had in my life. I'm in absolute shock as I was not expecting it to be the best. but it was. read more

OMG!!!! So im working in Amityville at the moment and this place is new the job site.....my partner tells me the food taste good and to give it a try so i do...and man was i not disappointed.....the first time i got there i asked for a recommended breakfast sandwich and the clerk delivered it was a really tasty sausage egg and cheese on a croissant.....i have had this plenty of times before but this was the best one for sure.....i loved it so much i went back for lunch had some rice beans string beans and some grilled chicken......another home run. I totally believe i will be eating here everyday until im off this job site......the young man at the counter is very nice and so was the chef they keep the place clean and the food comes out pretty fast.....honestly even if they were mean n the place was filthy i would probably still have a meal there its very flavorful lol..most definitely go there and try them out the prices dont break your bank and the food is worth it read more

Reyes is the best deli on Long Island. My wife and I are seasoned (senior) citizens and sometimes we just don't have the energy to cook. Well let me tell you, we have feasted on most of the offerings (changed daily) and have never had a less than 5 Star meal. The lady at the register is very accommodating and lets us mix and match from the many delicious offerings. When it comes to breakfast, their eggs on rolls are the best around. You can tell the food is made with care. Strongly recommended! read more

However, smaller groups that came after seemed to be getting their orders before us, despite getting similar items from the late night menu. Despite that, the food was good. Everyone enjoyed what they got. I only got the half dozen boneless wings, which were $5. The smoky bbq sauce was delicious but the drizzle was not nearly enough. I'd rather they be tossed like most places do wings. Overall, a good place with good prices for late night eats with friends. I would recommend if you like fried food late at night, just don't expect a quick trip since you may be waiting a while if your group is large.

Price - $30 (appetizer, entree, beverage (free refills), tip) Food - 4/5 - solid food, huge amount. Service - 3/5 - solid, nothing beyond. Ambiance - 3/5 - typical diner feel. Overall - 3/5 - solid diner and that is all it is. Food tasted like a diner, got diner service, and diner vibes. Only thing worth noting is you will get a massive amount of food. Ordered fish and chips and received a pretty size-able salad along with it, 5 pieces of fish, not to mention the additional pasta salad and other small sides (pasta salad was pretty bad IMO). Overall if you are hungry and looking to eat diner food, this is a good stop. Aside from that, nothing worth going out of your way for. Best Dish - nothing to note

Next time, I'd like to try lunch--I already have my eye on the Cuban sandwich on the menu.

They had a few hot dishes in trays at front as well , one with chicken and tomatoes that the customer next to me had decided upon. I stopped here looking for a business. The location is in what I want to say is a business district area with many trucks and allotted buildings. It is near Farmingdale College and also their school of Aviation as I saw small planes flying over head. It does have (see pix) out door seating which consist of 2 round tables and chairs of where on this sunny day I sat to eat my food. There is an outside sign in front noting coffee. The prices seem fair and they do take credit and debit cards - with no extra fee attached. I lady behind the counter got me upon request, what turned out to be a fresh chocolate chip muffin. I also bought a small rice pudding that looks delicious. Its actually a spot kinda on the side lines spot that I think is worth stopping at for food.
