Ok. Let's start with .... it's a bodega and as Bodegas go this place is getting the full stars. Been coming here for about 5years. Someone mentioned sketchy party of babylon in another review. Bit to much. Nothing sketchy about this place. Sometimes you have those unfortunate around the Front have a drink but they are harmless. I come here a lot and they are super friendly and organized. They have what you need to go and fast. The portion size are great and don't charge you a crazy price. If anything I'll go and say it's cheap eats. I normally pick up my usual wrap after my workout and if I can't cook dinner for my sons because of work I'll pick up a meal. They have options which is fantastic. Not four star dining service but satisfying. They are clean and practice covid restrictions. It's a family own business and they will continue getting my business as long as I live in the area. read more

A small dish of rice & beans are a perfect and filling combination at a great price. Family owned and operated. I have found my new go to deli that serves delicious food- where they PACK IT ON! And doesn't charge extra for really packing it on!! Authentic dishes and super friendly people. I just so happen to stumble upon this place when I was looking for a bottle of water because I forgot to pack my toddler's snack for school. My eyes lit up when I saw this place. I got a nostalgic feel when I walked in and reminded me of my old hometown - Queens. I don't consider this place or the area sketchy like the previous reviewer said. I'm not sure what they would consider a real sketchy place if they ever did come across one. But anyway, def. go try their food. I like to go early in the morning after I drop off my daughter to school. read more

There is a sketchy side to Babylon Village! This deli is one of the sketchy village hang outs but they seem to be decent from my one visit there. This deli is located on Railroad Avenue in between a bar and Gino's pizzeria. The inside is clean, at night this deli is well lit. At night and during lunch hour in addition to sandwiches they seem to serve freshly made trays of dishes available for take out, at least that's what I think I see when I walk past this deli. I came here when I was first dating my husband and he dropped me off at the train station before I went to work. At the time I was just navigating and starting out the commute from Babylon to work and I was buying breakfast at different places before finally deciding to bring a portable breakfast option with me when I was taking the trains. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on a roll. It was decent, not overly spectacular but not awful either, definitely a good option if you are in a hurry at least you are guaranteed something decent. The staff was nice too. If you can get past the sketchiness and you are willing to walk into this place to get some food it's not a bad little deal. read more

I go every Wednesday for breakfast before getting on the LIRR and I have had them cater several parties. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. They 100% have a customer with me as long as I'm in NY. The food is always a hit at my functions. read more

I was looking for a new deli to try as I am new in town and WOW! I walked into food heaven!! The food options looked amazing, it was so hard to choose what to eat. I chose beef stew w/ rice & beans + plantains. Staff was very friendly and as I was walking out, there was a line out the door! So glad I found this place. Food was delicious. Fried chicken was Okay. Decent spice seasoning to it. However, I came at a time when everything was old. The rice tasted old and disgusting and the fried plantains were horrible. I hope I don't get sick. Half the men in there were rude and the other guy was nice and professional. Maybe I should come in the morning and not at night if I ever give them a second chance. read more
