Brothers Delicatessen - Delis Near Me - Lindenhurst, New York

Very well-run, solid deli in Lindenhurst with excellent breakfast sandwiches and a great selection of hot and cold heroes. The place is always immaculately clean, and the service is fast and friendly. They recently expanded and doubled the size of the space, making self-service dine-in a convenient option. read more

Great deli but the tall guy that's old has never gotten my order right, he even writes it down!Other than that great deli, great food.

Great sandwiches and hot food. Glad to see they are doing well enough to expand. I would like to see new staff trained a little better and learn how to cut a sandwich evenly in half, but it's a great local spot read more

Good deli on Montauk, not much else to share other than it's our go to place for sandwiches.

I just ordered 2 rolls.... NOTHING ON THEM. They charged me $7.00!!!! What the PRICE GOUGING hell is that??? If they are trying to recoup their expansion costs this isn't the correct way!!! The staff isn't great... they used to be nice and friendly. Their prices for EVERYTHING are astronomical! This used to be a favorite spot... they've just lost a customer and all those who I will mention this to. Shame on the owners..... greed is NEVER a good look read more

Thank you Brothers Deli! I had an impromptu engagement party for my daughter the day of the snowstorm 12/27. They were as optimistic as I was when ordering food , they checked with me early that morning to make sure party was still on and they went in and cooked some of the best food ever for our party. The chicken cutlet and London Broil hero were the bomb and the Chicken Franchise was absolutely delicious, as well as everything else. Cant wait for my chicken pot pie on Thursday! read more

I ordered a breakfast box (eggs, bacon, toast, and home fries). The prices are great, very reasonable. The unfortunate part is that my home fries had a fly cooked into it. Mistakes happen and I was refunded.. Unfortunately that didn't prevent my disgust... read more

My husband and I moved to Lindenhurst 2 years ago and so happened to discover this deli in 2022. He was ecstatic because it's a stone through away from our home. And I'll give credit where it's due, their beef barley soup was pretty good. Up until today (4/23/22), he was pretty happy but unfortunately, once I was in (I happen to be Black), the vibe was very unwelcoming. Per my hubby's request, he asked that I order a cheese burger + fries, but was told that the kitchen was closed (1:30 PM). Like really? Folks have lunch between 12pm and 3pm. So that was unfortunate. I ordered something else, and upon arriving home, I asked him to call and asked to order for pick up. Guess what, he was told that it would be ready for pick up in 30 minutes. Hmmm ... I call racism. And I'm not a "woke" person here. Just call it as I see it. Well, we won't be going back there. EVER! And will make it a point to tell everyone we know. WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED, UNBELIEVABLE. I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO NO GICE A STAR BUT WAS FORCED TO IN ORDER FOR THIS TO BE POSTED. read more

Awesome bagel/egg breakfast sandwiches, deli specialty sandwiches, wraps & heros. Great friendly service. Very busy deli, especially in the morning and worth the wait or call ahead. Very reasonable prices! read more

This deli used to be one of the best around for sure but for whatever reason they have gone downhill. It's mostly new staff, the quality of sandwiches for lunch and breakfast have gone downhill yet the prices go up. It's a shame, this deli used to be good. read more

My family and I have been going to this small deli for years and have never had a problem with them until today. Two older employees were very loudly talking shit about my order and making fun of me because I eliminated certain toppings. It was really unprofessional. If your gonna talk shit at least go in the back where no one can hear you. But really though you need to take into consideration that people have fucking food allergies and could possibly die from it. So think of that before you go and make fun of someone. Besides that you should learn how to properly wear face masks. It needs to cover all of your nose, mouth and chin. Also wear and replace gloves often while handling food. Covid is still around and if you don't change your ways you will lose more past and future customers. read more

disappointed i really loved getting breakfast from here but they totally butchered my order today and although it was only the first time they messed it up today was my birthday and i was really looking forward to getting my favorite breakfast i couldn't even finish the food bc they put bacon on it too and i don't like bacon at all good deli normally i just don't know what happened today read more

Please do not go here. My husband got severe food poisoning from this pathetic excuse of a food establishment. They're the most unorganized deli in the area. 100 million people taking orders running around. Handling food without gloves. The chicken salad is what got him sick. I'm assuming old not proper temperature controlled mayo. I had a bacon and egg the egg was undercooked the bacon was rubbery and not good at all. It's really terrible. And really overpriced. Not worth it ! Do yourself a favor and go to Katherine's a little bit down the road. Much better and fresher. Beware of this filthy establishment. read more

Nothing short of the best. Great food, Great staff and great place. Lindy is lucky to have them.

Brothers deli has something for everyone. Went in for lunch and got the Klaus, absolutely delicious. Quick service and friendly staff too

Horrible. This place's egg sandwiches are a disgrace to long island culture. Dry, cold cheese. And worst of all its like 6 bucks for one of these pieces of garbage. Id give no stars if I could. Stay away there are a million other delis in the area and this one just falls short. read more

Brothers Delicatessen - a half eaten sandwich on a piece of paper - Delis Near Me - Lindenhurst, New York

They make the best egg sandwiches in town and their cold-cuts are always fresh, There service is ALMOST perfect. They have a "hate 2 wait" service which I choose to use since they are always packed but sometimes you WAIT even though you texted or called in. Which then the egg sandwiches are cold. Which I don't like. I suggest they have a pick up section, it could be at the beginning of the store to make things easier. read more

Worst experience ever!!! I was treated as an outsider in my own neighborhood. I was standing patiently before 4 other patrons entered the establishment. The first two were greeted and serviced immediately as I still stood waiting to be greeted. A woman then came to the counter ( this woman saw me standing before anyone entered) and looked me in the eye before asking myself as well as the woman behind me who's next. Before I answered she proceeded to take this woman's order. I then interrupted them, begged for pardon from the patron as I explained that I indeed was next in line and am ready to place my order. I said I would like a wrap, but before I could further explain, she walked off again. When I inquired as to whether there was lettuce and tomato she answered "you didn't ask for that". I replied " you didn't give me the opportunity as you walked off before i could finish". When I spoke to a friend from the neighborhood and explained what happened, he was already aware of this deli and had a similar experience. Irony was the one thing we have in common. Our appearance. If what I felt was correct, then there's a preference in who they serve and how they're served! read more

I buy sandwiches from this local deli and have never been disappointed. My daughter had her sweet 16 recently and we used Brothers Deli for sandwiches and salads for the party and Brothers did not disappoint. The food was delicious and very fresh. If I could leave negative stars I would! I am disgusted at the service I received today. I work nearby at The KIA dealership and we (My co workers, managers and I) orderly constantly sometimes two times a day being we work long hours. I placed an order today and was quoted 15-20 minutes. I always give it an extra five minutes. I get there 25 minutes after ordering to be told that my food was not ready yet because the grilled chicken needed another 5 minutes to cook. A little frustrated that they hadn't called me to give me the heads up I simply said ok not a problem. They then took another 25 minutes to make two wraps with the grilled chicken. I kept trying to grab someones attention but nothing I was looked right passed as they took more orders and I watched people get their food before mine after they had ordered and waited ten minutes for it. The employee comes to the counter with my food and cracks a joke about how "I've spent my entire lunch break with them today". This is what struck my nerve. The audacity he had to make that joke after I was inconvenienced as is. I replied that I was extremely upset at how long it took without a phone call or a check in and as I'm walking towards the door I hear "Bitch". Unbelievable. I am not sure whether it was a customer standing there that only heard part of my situation or the worker but I will never be returning. Brothers Deli you lost a loyal customer as well as my constant recommendation and praises!!!!! read more

New to Lindenhurst. I went to this deli because it was close to the Laundromat i g to and I got my usual hot Chicken cutlet w/bacon, american cheese, mayo on a hero.
