Village Lamb Burger & French Fries

Love Burger in the old time. Fries still good as before The restaurant always clean. Lots of option to choose from menu. We bring our kids there all the time when they are young. Staffs are friendly. But the Burger taste different than before. Properly missing some salt? Some seasoning? Little disappointed. I may try one more shot lunch special $17 come with fries and drink.

Went to Burger Village today in Hicksville. Ate outside at table with umbrella. Got salad with goat cheese, chicken soup and flourless cake. One order was enough for two. Servers were good. Met other pleasant customers. Took leftovers. Overall nice visit.

Interesting concept that offers organic, hormone-free burgers made from beef, poultry, lamb, ostrich, and more. Veggie burgers are available in several different configurations, so the burger lover with a vegetarian friend or spouse doesn't need to hesitate. Burgers come in their basic configurations, or you can upgrade to add extra preconfigured sets of toppings. The vibe is a bit like Chili's. Mall location with outside entrance. Booths, tables, bar. A few TVs. Beef Burger: Good tasting beef, juicy at the ordered medium-rare, and tender throughout. Onions could have been more caramelized or more bountiful to match the framed photo-- not that there aren't other burger joints guilty of same-- but all things considered good burger. The bigger infraction for me was that the brioche bun was a glorified whitebread bun that was way too voluminous and dense. Fries: Exceptional. Home-made and hand-cut. Mid-range thickness (neither shoestring nor steak fry), and browned just enough to be just crisp enough, with some droop too. Note that the side orders are very large and shareable. Onion Rings: Also claimed to be home-made and hand-cut, these were thin rings with a crunchy beer batter that didn't drift into puffy. I wouldn't bet my life they were made on site, but good for what they were. Go for the fries instead. Sweet Potato Fries: Similar characteristics to the regular fries, with a natural sweet potato flavor, not processed. Good stuff. Boneless Buffalo Wings: Meh. Service: Seemed that the servers tag teamed the tables, taking turns with various aspects. Our official server Susan did a nice job answering questions and handling requests for a bunch of first timers. Not a burger destination, but when you need a convenient post-shopping meal or are trying to juggle various dietary requirements among your squad, it's a place you can go and not feel like you compromised. Solid meal for what it was.

In a relaxed space with distressed woodwork and industrial-inspired furnishings, Burger Village serves up creative burger combos and well-executed sides with friendly servers and an overall chill vibe. Shout out to this chain for some amazing and varied vegan options. Multiple kinds of vegan burgers served with a choice of special sauces and toppings means omnivores and vegans can both fully enjoy the many menu items.

    Drenched burg

The ambiance was nice but thats about it. The fries are gonna be drier than sheetrock and don't bother ordering pick up they will slap anything on there. They added pickles and tomatoes to my order and then soaked the burger in their sauce. Service was good very attentive.

Had a good time, decent burger joint near the mall with higher than average quality burgers. When you order a burger, you do not have to get a signature pairing with it. As of this review, you can check in on your Yelp app and get free fries which was a pleasant surprise. There are different spins on burgers, which I think Vegans and Vegetarians will love. Oddly enough, nothing is pulling me back to visit again and then the bill came and reaffirmed it. Go check it out, and prove me wrong. Good: -Check-in on Yelp for a free order of fries -Village Bison Burger (medium well) -Jalo Pkwy pairing -Banana milkshake -Fresh Hand Cut Seasoned French Fries Bad: -They're quality burgers but they come at a price

This is my first time going with family and it's really good. For an Easter it's pretty packed. The services is great!! I got the lamb burger and asked for medium rare. It didn't come out that way but it was till really good. The burger wasn't dry which is amazing. It's very rustic, which I love. It's not loud at all, which I do love. It is very bright, which facing the windows during the day starts hurting my eyes after a while. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their food as soon as I can.

Decent burgers. They have a variety of different meats for burgers, elk, lamb, beef, veggie etc. I love that they have goat cheese as an option to buy in my burger.

What a hidden gem of a burger spot! I came for lunch on Saturday afternoon and the place was just less than half full so everyone was seated with a table in between. There were plenty of tables inside and even outdoor seating! If I had to compare them to any other burger spot, I'd say that they're closest to Bareburger, but much better in my opinion! The meats are organic, grass-fed, all-natural - all the good stuff ya know. There's also a variety of exotic meats like bison, boar, and ostrich as well as plenty of vegan burger options. You get to choose what protein you want, and then any signature pair which is basically the toppings. There are recommended topping pairings for certain proteins but you can choose any! If you don't want their signature pairings, you can also stick to the basic toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles) and any cheese. We got the village boar burger and village bison burger. Both burgers weren't gamey and tasted great! The bison was closer to a beefy taste while the boar tasted a bit like chicken/turkey. Loved the soft brioche bun that it came on! To pair with our burgers, we got french fries and onion rings, which were both fried perfectly. The french fries were so crispy and the onion rings had a crispy light batter. We also got a strawberry shake that was creamy yet just thick enough to scoop. Definitely a great burger spot and can't wait to come back. Make sure to check-in on Yelp to get free fries!!

Fried Pickles & Village SMASH BURGER

The restaurant as well as the staff was nice, clean and inviting. Our waitress was very attentive, not overbearing, and overall great. The boneless buffalo wings I thought were delicious, and I am a boneless buffalo wing connoisseur. I would definitely return back here for their wings and buttermilk ranch. The waffle fries were also good and crunchy. I also thought the beef burger was good, and cooked correct, not amazing, but I would have again. My partner had the fried pickles and smash burger with everything on it. Which was alright. The smash burger was good, also not amazing because of it falling apart but nothing substantially negative to say. The reason why I'm giving this 4/5 stars and not 5 is because we ordered a coke, but received something that tasted like root beer. I recognized what it was after seeing their fountain soda options. Overall, great experience, great boneless wings, and we probably will come back.
