What a cute cake shop! I stopped in for a Sunday morning hang out with a friend and the vibes felt very quaint and cozy. They were serving their winter seasonal menu and so I went with their tiramisu flavor which has a chocolate cake base and coffee infused icing and what almost looked like ladyfinger cookies mixed in. It was delightful-especially since I normally don't get coffee flavored desserts. The coffee flavor wasn't over powering and the cake was moist ( I know, I hate that word too) and such a well balanced slice of cake. Fortunately the hype is justified and the baked goods are excellent. As the name suggests, you need to try the cakes, but don't miss the cookies plus the brownie and loaf. And most of all, you need that cake in a martini glass. If you go early the cake slices might be cold still from the fridge, but you can dig right into the super moist, light and airy cake in the glass. We walked here on a weekday early afternoon and there was no line at all. I overheard the staff say that they are always super busy with multiple items selling out super early on the weekends. I thought the chocolate cake was so good and I much preferred it to the cornbread cake slice though that was a bit more unique. I'm glad I was able to try this once.
