    Gingerbread cake
    Gab G.

Amazing new bakery! I tried: + Gingerbread cake with cream cheese + Salted chocolate chip cookie + Orange cardamom cookie + Miso PB cookie + Lavender lemonade loaf Lavender lemonade loaf and chocolate chip cookie were tied for my favorite items - the cookie is now in my top 5 choc chip cookies in NYC. Gingerbread cake was the next best - had perfect gingerbread flavor and great density. Orange cardamom cookie also worth getting! Will be back for more cake.

I found this cute beautiful bakery shop on Instagram. What had grab my attention the the cute small round cake. So unique and different. The flavors of the cake made me really pay a visit to Saint Street Cakes. I wanted the pistachio but I settle for the red velvet. You could never go wrong with a red velvet cake. One of the staff basically informed me on how the cake batches work. I order 2cake for my birthday and was extremely satisfied with the quality and flavor of my cake. Must VIST!!

Got the tiramisu slice and the chocolate chip cookie. Cookie is perfectly salted and the thick chocolate disks are amazing. Very similar to hani's which is my favorite. The slice of cake was also delicious and I love the flavors there. The frosting is thick and my favorite part of the cake. The soaked ladyfingers filling also makes for a great bite. Definitely would get again if I'm in the area. People working were so sweet and I love that they have seating.

I love the small cute cake shop. Very vintage but modern day decor. Amazing friendly informative staff. Delicious desserts and amazing well detailed cakes. I had the pleasure of purchasing my birthday cake and everyone enjoyed my cute delicious fresh vanilla butter cream cake. Service was outstanding. Indoor seating with a lovely outside view. Very clean small cake shop. Must try their girlfriend brownies and cakes. Treat yourself to delicious fresh cakes, cookies and brownies.

New bakery in the neighborhood with an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. Got the salted chocolate chip cookie which was soooooo good omg. The brownie was ok but nothing to rave about. Couple tables if you want to sit and enjoy which is always a nice touch.

The newest hype bakery checks all the boxes for being hype (cool young founder that does TikToks about the journey to opening, bakery that started out of an apartment doing just online orders, very fun new Instagrammable vessel for cake, and, just the fact that it's a bakery in 2025). Fortunately the hype is justified and the baked goods are excellent. As the name suggests, you need to try the cakes, but don't miss the cookies plus the brownie and loaf. And most of all, you need that cake in a martini glass. If you go early the cake slices might be cold still from the fridge, but you can dig right into the super moist, light and airy cake in the glass. I saw scary reports about sell outs and lines, but it was very chill when I went, so maybe the extreme heat and Wednesday morning time helped if you want to plan a visit.

Got the miso peanut butter cookie and the salted chocolate chip cookie. Not usually a fan of thin cookies but these were super chewy and not overly sweet, and the flaky salt on the chocolate chip cookie made it my favorite of the two cookies. they're pricier at $5-6 each. Interior is super cute, and there's very limited and tight seating.

This bakery is so cute and has the best mini cakes! They are first come first serve once the bakery opens so I recommend getting there right when they open! They also have so many other creative treats to choose from that I'll be back for :)

Stopped by Saint Street cakes for the first time and was instantly drawn to the Lavender lemonade cake. The cake sizes were decent and fresh. The cake itself was soft and flavorful. The icing was not sweet, which I liked but was a tad bit hard. Overall, the customer service experience was pleasant during my visit. I'd definately come back to try other offerings. Do stop by as they have something for every occasion.

Very dense, sweet cake but with each bite it really grew on me! Great cake for sharing!

I got lucky and snagged the limited blueberry pie croissant on its last day. Their croissants are literally perfect. Light, airy honeycomb interior, a super flaky exterior, and a deep golden brown. I might just start making regular trips to South Slope for these pastries! Their chef Claudio was so friendly! He even offered to help us cut the pastries in half, which is how we got those flawless cross sections. *Blueberry Pie Croissant $11.5 The croissant was stuffed with blueberry jam and whipped vanilla cream! You could tell the jam was homemade with so many real blueberry bits, and they didn't hold back on it! The oat streusel on top was so good I was picking up every last crumb off the plate lol. * Kouign Amann $5.5 What really blew me away was their kouign amann... the outside is crunchy, sticky, and coated with a generous sprinkle of sugar. It's super buttery and pulls apart perfectly with gorgeous honeycomb layers. *Ham and Gruyere Croissant $8 I usually go for savory pastries, so this one's a solid pick especially for breakfast. It is bright, airy, and calm in that effortless way great bakeries have. There is an open kitchen so you can actually see what is happening behind the scenes, which immediately builds trust. You walk in and it smells like butter, sugar, and real baking, not artificial sweetness. Now the pastries. The croissants are the star for a reason. Perfectly laminated, flaky on the outside, soft and rich on the inside. Not greasy, not dry, and not overly sweet. Just balanced and thoughtful. You can tell these are made by people who care deeply about technique and quality. I tried a few different items and everything felt intentional. Nothing felt mass produced or created just for social media. This is the kind of bakery where you slow down, sit with your coffee, and actually enjoy what you are eating instead of rushing out the door. Yes, there can be a line during busy hours, but that comes with places that do things right. The staff is efficient and friendly, and even when it is crowded, the energy stays relaxed and welcoming. Miolin is not trying to be trendy. It is simply very good at what it does. I hosted a party in our apartment for about 85 people and the amount of food I ordered (7 platters- beef sliders, fried chicken sliders, coconut curry chicken skewers, beef skewers, mango jerk chicken empanadas, spinach & cheese empanadas, veggie spring rolls) was more than enough. My guests all were coming up to me all night saying how great the food was! I also hired a waiter (Rustum) through Bites BK who was a lifesaver. Samantha is professional, sweet, charming, and super talented. As for the food, I tend to stay away from black and white cookies outside of Jewish bakeries as they're often disappointing, but these are right on par! Soft cookie, solid, but soft icing. Exactly like a Jewish bakery. The rainbow cookies have spongy cake and the right amount of jelly between layers. The chocolate isn't waxy as often happens in refrigerator cases. The pignoli cookies are another winner, although I preferred the pignoli free version, the amaretti. Chewy on the inside, a little crunch on the outside, just like they should be. And a light dusting of powdered sugar. Jam cookies and crystal sugar sprinkled cookies were similarly delicious. Apple turnover was full of apple and yummy filling, without tasting fake or preserved. Nothing at this place lasts long enough to need to be preserved! The muffins are inventive. I don't even think I covered everything... I got way too much and yet not enough.
