This review is WAY overdue... I needed a cake for an event at work. Something that spoke to my store, the event itself and of course tasted good. Bites Bk was my 1st choice, but due to timing I looked elsewhere. Lo and behold I ended up calling Claudine anyway... because my heart and belly wanted some of her cake. She took my call, brainstormed with me and came up with THEE perfect cake! I am normally anti fondant, due to its lack of taste. Claudine assured me taste would not be an issue... of course she was RIGHT, or I would not be writing this review! The cake became the centerpiece of my event, receiving positive reviews from my guests and coworkers! Months later... I was fortunate enough to work with Claudine on yet another event. This time we went the way of foods for a baby shower. Two words: JerkTains! If you havent... stop reading and order NOW! The sweetness of the yellow plantains combined with the jerkiness (yes I made up a word) of the meat... I knew this was going to be a hit! But you know, yoi cant just order ONE thing right? As a fan of Claudines work, I gave her the okay to bless us with custome cookies AND chocolate covered oreos, all within the colors and themes of the event! I cannot wait to host another event. I was a nervous wreck trying to get a last minute caterer for my daughter's wedding party. BK Bites made it happen BEAUTIFULLY and deliciously! Had I known how great BK Bites would be I could have spared myself HOURS of fretting. Claudine really knows how to run an excellent business. She has a responsive and professional staff who showed up promptly with the array of beautifully prepared appetizers I had chosen. They were even ABOVE and beyond serving and setting up a raft of additional catering items my daughter had required. That was one aspect of the job I was quite concerned about, but I need not have worried. Claudine is very responsive to the client and took charge of our every need for this event. She even showed up personally with her crew to get everything in place before our party. The food was excellent too. I love the variety of appetizers we picked. DELICIOUS!!! I do my research, especially since I was looking for a reasonably priced caterer with a wide ranging menu and great reviews for my husband's 60th. I'm so glad I found Bites BK and decided to work with Claudine. Everything was FANTASTIC and worked out perfectly! Communication was seamless, she was easy to work with, delivered the food exactly on time, and even made a couple dishes that she doesn't have on her menu. I hosted a party in our apartment for about 85 people and the amount of food I ordered (7 platters- beef sliders, fried chicken sliders, coconut curry chicken skewers, beef skewers, mango jerk chicken empanadas, spinach & cheese empanadas, veggie spring rolls) was more than enough. My guests all were coming up to me all night saying how great the food was! I also hired a waiter (Rustum) through Bites BK who was a lifesaver. He oversaw the setup with Claudine, passed apps around, tidied up throughout the night, and made sure my guests were well taken care of. So, I need to update this review to add that not only is the food tasty but the service is exemplary. Yesterday (ON Thanksgiving day) I picked up a few appetizers and desserts for Thanksgiving dinner. Claudine had my order packaged and ready to go on time. The food was a hit and once again, the Jerktains were the talk of the crowd. Awesome food and treats. Reliable company. Profession customer service. I have had the pleasure of tasting many of the items on the menu. The Jerktains are surprisingly good (you would never think the combination would work...it does!!!) and those are usually the first to go at any event. I highly recommend this company. read more

If I could give more stars I would! I was looking for a caterer who would be able to provide small appetizers for my baby shower this weekend. I had a vision in my head of small yet delicious bites that my guests could nibble on during our "mocktail" hour. After an internet search, I found Bites BK. First, I was very impressed with the company website. I am a visual person and to see the available menu with pictures and clear descriptions was fantastic. Then I contacted Claudine and that sealed the deal. Not only was she professional and organized, but she wanted my baby shower to be as successful as I wanted it to be! I knew I was in good hands as she answered all my questions and customized a menu based on my needs. She provided thoughtful suggestions and helpful hints which I hadn't considered. I found her attention to detail most helpful. On the day of my shower, the appetizers arrived fresh and were so delicious, my guests could not stop complimenting them.
