The only things we could take more than one bite from were the dessert (which tasted like a box mix with some raspberry thrown in) and the "homemade" gefilte fish (which tasted like a store-bought brand I've had before). For nearly $40 a head, this is unacceptable. Shame on me for ordering from J2 given how this wasn't even the first time I'd had their food. A few years back, I went to a cooking class and a Shabbos gathering by J2, and in both cases, the food was bad. I thought maybe it had improved since, but I was mistaken.
